My second visit to Forage and the food is tasty as I remembered. Dishes are ideal for sharing and having a few persons will allow you to try more of the menu items.

Overall I felt the food was pricy but the scones were absolutely delicious and would come back just for the scones, the bennies -we had the day's special with mushrooms and back bacon- were good but nothing you cannot get somewhere else for less. I wish the place was more affordable as the menu is pretty standard and the brunch competition in the area is high!

First time dining at Forage, won't be the last - the food is great and my group and I really enjoyed that the dishes are served to encourage sharing. Our waiter was great, attentive, had great food and drink recommendations and was funny. We all had a blast and I've already recommended Forage to a number of my friends!

We had made 6:45 reservations to celebrate our anniversary. We ordered flights and appetizers. Without asking if I had finished ( I had finished neither my flight nor my chowder), an assistant removed these dishes. As I was telling her I was not finished, she was gone. I informed my waitress that this had occurred and no action was taken. Our waitress did ask if we had finished our main course before removing. We noticed that dishes were removed at other tables in the same manner. The only possible conclusion is that the restaurant is more interested in turning tables than in good service. We will not be returning nor recommending.

Menu is creative and food preparation is extraordinarily well done. Service is lackluster and inconsistent. Tables very close together and noise level so high that table conversation requires shouting to be heard.

Food was very tasty but highly overpriced. Portions were tiny and not filling at all, I was shocked at how little food actually came considering the price that was paid. Over $100 for two people who didn't even order any drinks. Service was very slow.

I can't believe it's taken me so long to visit Forage! I had an old friend visiting, and picked Forage for brunch - fortunately, I made a reservation - it was packed! Lively and loud, the seating is very cozy. Good service, great brunch. We did leave after brunch and go somewhere quieter to catch up. I would recommend it, and will return. The bright green/blue lipstick on the hostess was a little off-putting.

forage was excellent. It was our first time there, but we will return. The food was fresh, tasty and creative. I had a bison hash that was flavourful and tender. Others at our table had eggs benny that they loved. The sauces and fruit, bread and coffee were all exceptional.

Wonderful breakfast at Forage. Service was perfect, friendly, accommodating, timely and not intrusive. Provided great gluten free options using fresh ingredients. Mushroom omelette with crispy potatoes was delicious. Other times we have enjoyed dinner at Forage and received wonderful service and tasty, flavorful food.

It was aight.
Came for the breakfast but maybe the dinner is where it's at. This place lacked panache in the food and was priced high for something I make a million times better. Probably won't ever back.

We were four. The food was delicious, and the sharing worked well. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive but also very busy. I appreciate the fact that there is no loud bass music playing. however the people noise was overwhelming. We had to raise our voices quite a bit to have any sort of conversation. You might consider getting a acoustic specialist to assess how the noise can be muted. Tks for listening, Daria

Was there for a friend's birthday on a quiet Wednesday evening. The service and the food we're phenomenal! All local and organically sourced ingredients. Very creative menu with a slight focus on healthy eating. All plates were shared so everyone got to try a bit of everything and the server were very friendly accommodating. They were also very knowledgeable about the menu and gave excellent recommendations. Would definitely recommend this place for casual or formal dining.

I am never disappointed at Forage. Everything is fresh and so creative. I love that we get to taste the best BC has to offer in any given season. Spring and Summer are amazing times to go here when our produce it at it's very best. Fall and winter is a lot of kale, mushrooms and root veg which is also great. The charcuterie plate is always a good bet too. Great staff, lovely location, clever chef... what more could you ask for?

Dishes are on the higher end of the price spectrum and are small, but not abnormally so for Vancouver. AND oh so worth it. Plan on ordering several plates of food and sharing.

This was our second visit to Forage and the service, food and waiters were all exceptional! We dined together with two couples who had never visited the restaurant and they were very impressed. We will definitely return again and so will our friends! Thanks for a lovely dinner!

Service was horrendous and discriminatory ( a group of 4 and above was treated a lot better than a group of 2 or 3 and also , the server seemed to be bias towards a certain racial colour ) which was unfortunate as the food was actually good. I just wish the taste of the food could justify the server’s attitude but I would rather go to another restaurant which actually treats me like a customer .

We were there for brunch and I ordered the turkey sausage hash. It was nothing special - it seemed to be lacking acidity, even after I added hot sauce. My companion ordered the halibut cheek benny, which she was satisfied with. It was very noisy in there. Our server was absent, slow, and talked so quietly I had to physically move to hear what she said. Our experience was forgettable and I probably won't be back any time soon.

This is and has been one of my favorites ever since moving close by in 2014. This was my first chance to share it with someone more than family (who have always said they loved it), and my guest was a picky eater from Los Angeles.
He left very impressed and will be recommending it to other planning a trip to Vancouver.
Fabulous food creations - 100% locally grown/sourced (some on the roof of the hotel) great service, just loud enough that you can have a private conversation and not feel anyone is eavesdropping. Not cheap, but still great value... they're not trying to make a burger upscale, they are serving genuinely upscale food.

Exceptional flavors, creative combinations, inventive dishes. This place really exceeded expectations. Every dish was superb. The Baker's Garden dessert was a sweet vegetable-driven treat, a bit of inspired molecular gastronomy.
