Fabulous food, really inventive and different combinations of ingredients & tastes. Every mouthful was a discovery. Our waitress explained the concept & was attentive, helpful and friendly. One of the best meals we had on our holiday .
Nice setting and friendly staff.Mist of the food-breakfast-was good. Porridge not to my liking and arrived quite cold.
Was exchanged for a very nice granola without any problem. Coffee was cold as well.good eggs and toast.
Great brunch, surprisingly fair price for the quality of food. Nice ambiance
It was great...as always!
The food and service was great! The only negative is that for a restaurant that serves small dishes for a tapas like eating experience you are too crowded to really enjoy the sharing as you have to constantly be moving things around. Circular or larger tables would make sense for the full enjoyment of not just the food but your dinner mates and the atmosphere.
Fantastic seasonal food. Friendly staff and an amazing menu. Great atmosphere too
Thank you so much for all the delightful creations you fire out. truly art. what a wonderful way to enjoy an evening. i would say the best restaurant i have eaten at in vancouver.
Food was phenomenal and service was excellent. Best recommendation anyone can give is that we made a reservation for two nights later...our last night in town.
Wonderful meal as always. Bit stingy on the chicken lover mouse in the duck dish though, but everything else was awesome.
Visiting from overseas and referred through Lonely Planet. Very nice food shared plates. On the small side for price but great food nonetheless. Excellent service team.
We loved Forage. Delish food, good wine, and amazing service (Nick was lovely!).
We'd definitely come back.
New server was alright.
Outstanding on all levels ❤️ The halibut cakes benny was divine as were the scones! Our server was delightful
We enjoyed a phenomenal breakfast here during our short visit to Vancouver. Everything was so incredibly fresh and delicious. My husband got the pork cutlet sandwich and I got the two egg breakfast. Wish we could have come back for dinner!
Terrific find in Vancouver while visiting with family. Service was very knowledgable and excellent. Food was delicious and thoughtful. We're still talking about the meal a week later. Overall a great experience, would love to return some day.
Forage was amazing. We got sparkling wine as soon as we sat down, and our server was lively and very friendly. We ordered the brussel sprouts which were so good I got goosebumps as I chewed them. We also ordered the duck, and the gnocchi. The duck was delicious, the gnocchi dish was good too, although it was quite salty. I would go back for sure. The wine and beer flights are great especially for such a low price!! We will be back!
Service was excellent. Food was fabulous - a great experience
Outstanding as usual. Bryce was a wonderful server and enhanced our dining experience.
We went to Forage for brunch to celebrate my birthday.Have been there for dinner many times and everything is always top notch. Brunch did not disapoint. The food was crreatively prepared and presented and the service was professional. Thank you Forage.
Generally good experience, the food was a bit bland at time and the Halibut was very overcooked and was dry, which is a shame because it's one of my favorite fish when care is taken to ensure it's cooked correctly.
This is such a high quality restaurant. Love the focus on local farms, products and freshness. A very memorable experience.
Perfect as always
Vancouver treasure on Robson St was a fantastic breakfast stop. Thoughtfully prepared food, local ingredients and gracious staff. Recommend!
Tasty food, beAutifully presented.
The bison was delicious
Our evening at Forage was fantastic. The locally sourced ingredients were made into truly unique and delicious dishes encouraged to share. Service and ambience were also amazing.
Great food sourced from local farmers. Pleasant dining setting and atmosphere. Excellent service. Also good for veggies.
Food was great, but music was a bit loud, which made it a bit hard to talk over dinner.
Our party of 4 shared 3 appetizers, 2 mains and 2 desserts. We enjoyed all 7 very much. Our server was very friendly and helpful. I think that the consensus was that the halibut was the favorite. I especially liked the wild mushroom dish.
Forage is a wonderful choice for a Farm-to-Market fanatic. The food options are sufficiently diverse, and the freshness of the meal is a decided plus. Servings are family-style, with the intention that a couple will share 3-4 dishes, although an individual selection would be an adequate serving for one individual. We had heirloom tomatoes that presented an interesting collection of crisp, fresh tomatoes on a bed of basil pesto. Ahi Crudo was tasty, garnished with mild green peppers, and all-in-all a delectable dish. The key to Forage is that everything purports to be local, and this is carried to the extreme when you get to the bar. There is no Scotch Whisky because there is no Scotch produced in BC (or so we were told). And I may be mistaken, but I thought I caught Tito’s Vodka in the corner of my eye. Wines are all local, and the list is broad enough (when supplemented with some advice from a waiter who seemed to know specifics about the bottles listed). So, yes, I would recommend this to a person intent on pure local BC fare. But this is not the place to come for a tasty cocktail at the end of the day, when relaxation with one’s favorite libation is an important part of the dining experience.
Food is fresh and delicious. Worth your visit
It was our first time to Forage and the food was excellent.
Our server, Josh, however was truly exceptional! Great wine recommendations and a great mix of friendly and professional that you don't often see.
Amazing food experience. All the dishes we’ve had, like the corn bread, the tuna and the bison were incredible. To return for sure.
Compliments to the Chef!
Enjoyed the special, the chef came up on steel cut oats, with Szechuan granola, duck and poached egg ... I loved the first bite and last. A dish I want to try again ... even better, what will the chef dream up next!
Went for a birthday dinner, and had a wonderful time. Delicious food and great service. The guys were still slightly hungry though. So that is my only reason for not giving the full five stars. Smaller portions for the high price. Definitely a great choice for a special occasion or a once in a while treat.
Our server was amazing, very friendly and helpful. The food was very delicious. Overall it was a great location for a birthday dinner
Food was FABULOUS as was our waitress. The greeters were a little haggard and distracted, but nice. I put "do not recall" for noise level, but it was a bit loud. Oh. My latte wasn't great, but that's just if I'm getting picky. :) Over all everything was absolutely great and we'll definitely be back!
Fantastic food beautifully served.
Everything was excellent from the service to the food. Anna our server was attentive and gave excellent recommendations. Overall great place to have a nice dinner.
A great place to share food with a friend. We shared the honey cornbread which was excellent.
A varied menu with lots of ingredients. Perhaps one too many elements but authentic & tasty
