The interior design is based on Ottoman Empire tradition that is sophisticated and luxurious. Therefore Fora is considered as a fine dining house offering all day eating experience.
However our accomplished guitarist Faruk Ceviz who plays regularly in Fora creates the right ambiance for diners. For a romantic dinner or party celebrations, Faruk will set the sonic mood accordingly. On Saturday evenings, we also host belly dancing show which is a favourite for many weekend customers.
Really lovely food, reasonably priced with very helpful staff.. We will definitely be back!
One of my favourite restaurants for catching up with friends. Fabulous food, great ambience and space between tables!
Went for my wife's birthday. Nice intimate feel. Food very well seasoned and reasonably priced. Kalamari tasted very fresh. Good table service
Delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommend this restaurant
From greeting to service of deliciously tasteful food, everything was simply excellent. Servers were attentive and polite. Along with your drink of wine or your choice, I would recommend starting off with meze platter for two, which includes variety of delicious appetizers. My main course was a pasta dish, which was perfectly blended with sauce and seasoning. Our party was there on a Monday evening, so it was pleasantly quiet for us, perfect for business meetings. I didn't pay the bill but prices on the menu looked reasonably budgeted.
a very basic and traditional menu but the staff could not deliver, uncooked on one side and burnt on the other haloumi kebabs, cold pre cooked rice, cold veg, overcooked lamb, noisy, drunk hen party next to us. good clean toilets
Authentic ottoman food in the city
Lovely restaurant and handy location. Wide range if dishes on the menu. The meats were fresh and cooked nicely to perfection. What a lovely experience. I will definitely return on my next visit to London.
Absolutely loved it ! Food and service was excellent, will definately be returning
Really friendly and helpful staff and lovely food. Thank you!
Service was pretty bad, took a long time to get someone’s attention, they ignore you when they see you looking!
good quality food at reasonable prices with friendly helpful staff
Great service and staff that were friendly and helpful
Very good (and reasonably priced) menu, with good service. We had a vegan diet to accommodate in our booking, and there were lots of choices in this regard.
Good food as always but actually a bit too loud and the speed of delivery for our mains was a bit slow. Can't fault the quality or price though
We were welcomed by the girl at the enterance, coats were taken, polite and professional. Staff were polite and attentive, This place used to offer some small bits of bread and a dip when you sat, but they didn't serve anything, it was a birthday surprise launch and we ordered mixed grill, the food wasn't exceptional quality like before and it felt a bit bland and very little compared to the price. Their Adana kebab was also undercooked and since no one came to check if the food is OK, we had to go along with esting it. Had some nice Turkish coffee and Baklava which was very very good, and the staff arranged for a small tiny candle on the desert which was a nice touch. Overall not a great value for Money, but sadly there are only a couple of choices of Turkish cuisine in the City.
The food and service was excellent.
The calamari starter's was very nice and the salmon kebab was very moist. The monkfish kebab was also pretty good. Nice selection of bottles of wine too.
The service was excellent with just the right amount of attention and it was not rushed.
There was a guy playing instrumental music on his guitar and he was really good so it was fun trying to guess what he was playing.
This restaurant was a find, from Trip Advisor. Picked for proximity to our hotel. It did not disappoint. The staff were superb. Would go again when in London.
It was my birthday and the staff went out of their way to make it fun. The food was also good!
Great business lunch venue, quick service, excellent value and tasty food. Plus good separation between tables, which is becoming rare in the city.
We had a very nice family dinner. The food was nice. Good options for sharing.
I picked Fora because my friend worked around the area, and it would be convenient without wasting time on commuting. The set lunch was excellent value... and the food turned out very good, with healthy portions. All in all, ambience, service and food portions and quality received a thumbs up, and I have no complaints. In fact, I have been recommending this restaurant to friends since I dined there.
Table was booked for 7.30 and immediately jumped upon to make order for food, we ordered and starters turned up again immediately, the removed starters and actually bought food out again before they had removed starters, then when we asked to wait they took food away and left under lamps until we were ready some 10 minutes later by this time the food was dry, again disappointing as the waitress was asked that the food was not left to dry up.....mmmm to late.
We declined dessert....
The restaurant was not busy, but there seemed a need to get us in and out as quickly as possible. Spoilt the evening.
My daughter and I enjoyed our supper here on Monday evening. The portions were large but the staff were happy to provide us with doggy bags!
Very sweet staff, not overly intrusive but attentive. The live music was a bonus. Food was lovely and request for a doggy bag was no problem at all. The place was lively but not so crowded that we felt pressured to leave. Very reasonably priced.
Nice romantic booth type table for a date, food was tasty and authentic, if a little rustic, but great for the price. Would have preferred flat bread with our hummus and baba ganoush, but perhaps they couldn't get any due to the snow. I'd definitely go back and recommend to others.
Great atmosphere, delicious food, great service. Overall a great night
Very nice place to eat and chat. Portions were reasonable compared to other local turkish restaurants.
Would definitely recommend
Good overall although food not quite as good as in the past.
Excellent restaurant with excellent food, great staff and fantastic entertainment. Made it a really special occasion and could not have been more courteous. Highly recommended.
Been a few times and on every occasion the staff have been wonderful. The food is delicious and the live music make dining at this restaurant lovely.
Lovely food, had the lamb skewers! Service included so no need to tip separately.
Excellent food with wonderful service and great entertainment.
This was probably my 10th visit to Fora and I have never had a disappointing visit. On the contrary, the experiences get better and better with each visit. The food is excellent and the service matches this perfectly. Great value and an overall superb experience
I’ve been to Fora many times and it never fails to deliver on food. The quality is far superior to the comparable Haz and the price is also reasonable considering the area. Service is never that great here but when you know that you can keep on top of it.
Great atmosphere, great food
Booked last minute while staying in the city. Pleasant restaurant, warm family-style service. Food was very good - enjoyed all of our dishes, especially the vegetarian choices and deserts. Great value for the money.
The staff delivered a very good service; the food is priced correctly for the portions and quality you receive; the ambiance is peaceful & also very friendly staff.
Great restaurant always take my wife there's great authentic food and the service is specifically good. Never left Fora with a bad taste. The guitarist played at our wedding and we still get people asking for his details. Great all round experience and would always be the first place on our list for eating out in the City.
Very good, friendly service. Really good food and value for money.
