Swordfish is awesome!
Yummy, cool place, good service.
Considering there were only 2 waiters they did a great job.a little e food but as usual it is always !
Seated immediately, great waiter and delicious food!
Service was just okay definitely better service at Stir
Everything was just average, nothing to brag about!
A bit pricey for a pile of mashed potatoes and a piece of meat. Cool building and great service but I won’t be back.
The food and service was excellent as always...and you can't beat the $1 mimosas!!
We went to celebrate for Father's Day for lunch. We made reservations, but still had to wait 20 minutes for our table to be ready. The service was good, but the waiter was extremely underwhelming. Never a smile, and just seemed like he really didn't want to be there and had better things to do. Overall the food was good except for my husband's breakfast burrito. It was mainly filled with potatoes and very bland. I felt bad because we were there for him. I have been to Foodworks before and had fantastic service and food! But not this time.
Our service was amazing, the food was great. I really liked the $1 mimosas for brunch but as it was 2:15pm we’d hoped for a lunch menu option. I had shrimp and grits and it was divine. Hubby got chicken and waffles but the chicken was a little tough and the whole thing a touch too sweet for my tastes. We had a great meal and were seated quickly. Definitely come back again but maybe for dinner.
My family of three had Saturday brunch, and everything was delicious! Highlights were the truffle fries, the salmon entrée and the smoked wings. The dessert - a chocolate brownie with ice cream and candied pecans - was phenomenal. We'll definitely go back the next time we're in Chattanooga. Servers wore masks and the tables were relatively far apart, so that was reassuring in these COVID times.
Food works is always consistently a good place to eat with above average food and a large menu.
This is mine and my husband’s favorite brunch! We always get the spinach dip, which is amazing! I’m not a big chip fan, so the flatbread is perfect for me. We usually get the Chicken and Waffles and the Crab Cake Benedict, but sometimes stray to try something new. Every meal has always been delicious! We have always received great service and everyone is always very kind. The wait can be long, but it is absolutely worth it!! I would highly recommend you try it out!
Food was ok, not really impressed this time even though i have dined there in the past and it was better. You should get a piece of toast, or some bread with an egg. $15 is a little expensive for an omelet and a small amount of potatoes.
Everything was great. Service, food, wait time, cleanliness, etc.
My date and I had a great time at Food Works. Food was amazing and the mimosas was refreshing.
We sat on the patio on a beautiful Chattanooga evening. Tables were spread out, our server and hostess wore masks. Even tho our server was quite busy, he provided excellent service! We ordered the nachos, which are a new item on their menu, and they were delicious! I would recommend a visit to this restaurant as soon as you can!
We go there often for brunch. Today was way off. Service, food everything. I understand every business has bumps occasionally.
The only place I enjoy having brunch when I fly in from Dallas. Had it three times in a week. Wish the crab cake Benedict’s were not just on the weekend menu. It should be on the lunch as well.
Server didn’t bring drinks til after the food was
Passing through on a trip from Chicago to Florida. Great town, and outstanding restaurant for dinner. Crab cake had a light crispy outside, with delicious blue lump crab, that was light and moist, with extreme flavor! Mahi mahi tacos, brisket tacos and calamari were all superb! Restaurant was very clean, and service followed guidelines with a smile. Love this place and will definitely be back on our next road trip!
Visiting from Dallas and it’s my favorite breakfast place to eat!
Had a wonderful experience for my birthday dinner! Highly recommend!
Clay the bartender was amazing! Excellent service will ask for him by name again!!!!!!
First night out in sit down restaurant! Great dinner and great staff
It was an unpleasant experience from the minute we walked in the door. Hosts were not that helpful, they sat our party at a small table upstairs and we had an 85 year old with us. Our server was borderline rude most of our time there. She treated us like an inconvenience and was very short with our table. She didn’t write down our 5 orders and three had special requests for things to be left off... needless to say 2 came out wrong. This was my first time here due to my husband not caring for it during several business meetups there but I asked to try it and we did. We WILL NOT be back. Sad.
We loved brunch at Food Works! Delicious food, perfectly prepared and served. Added plus are drink options, mimosas and Bloody Marys. Our server was wonderful- so personable and professional with attention to detail. We had requested a table by a window and were delighted with our experience. Favorite in Chattanooga for brunch!
Delicious as always. Changed the menu since the last time we were there, so I enjoyed the omlette with brisket and cheese sauce and fresh fruit.
We were seated upstairs immediately. The menu was well designed and delicious. Everyone loved their entree! My huge steak and truffle fries were amazing. Drinks were good; the bar must have been out of Campari so I chose again and had a nice Hendricks/San Germain martini. The waiters had a bug group somewhere and apologized in advance if service was a bit slow. It was perfection. Two waiters made sure we were given anything we needed. They were outstanding!
The lasagna was delicious and very good portion . The pork chop was good but under cooked
Shrimp and grits was great!
Love this place it’s my favorite for brunch especially !!!
Food Works has the best lasagna in the area and may be the best I have ever had anywhere.
Food was excellent. I had the shrimp and grits. Well prepared.
Good food. Good service. Nice Sunday brunch menu. All around good experience but didn’t knock my socks off.
First if the restaurant only serves brunch on Sundays then it should state it on open table. My daughter had a dish that had white gravy no taste and barely on the dish. She asked for more gravy and we were charged additional for blah gravy no taste. Waiter was not helpful at all.
It's so nice to have a wonderful brunch at a restaurant that provides not only good food but wonderful service. And the mimosas are just a wonderful addition to the experience.
We waited over an hour for our food which we understood (was packed) but the food was so bad when it came out. As noted in some other reviews - the food was super dry (we got the brisket) - when the server saw we didn’t eat any of it and asked how it was. We said it was really dry and pretty terrible she said yea it wasn’t her favorite. Most places would probably try to do something about it but they didn’t care. The worst part was this was our valentines/anniversary dinner. Defintiely would not recommend - we went to Tupelo honey the next day and it was AWESOME
