My sons birthday.
Love this restaurant for Sunday Brunch. We had the breakfast burrito and it was delicious.
Our waitress was slammed having to go outside and back in. On the other hand the bartender was amazing. We will definitely ask for him the next time we ask for a high top in the bar.
We had a large group and they were awful to us. Will never be back. Andrew was extremely immature and negative. Find better people.
Great food. Service was good. Sat outside dining. Restaurant is dog friendly which is nice although if there is wind, there may be flying dog hair in the air.
the bill for 4 entrees, one appetizer, one dessert, 3 fountain drinks and a tip was $100. Service was great, quick and the waitress was very pleasant. Considering none of us finished our entrees and came home hungry I would say it was certainly not worth $100. The nachos had minimal flavor, quite bland actually, and was put together in a way that you couldn't eat it - pick up a chip and it breaks because it is either soggy with toppings or too heavy with toppings, etc.
Always good at Foodworks!
Went for an anniversary brunch, food works did not disappoint! Prompt mimosa service, great vibes, amazing food. I had the calamari, brisket hash and the chambulls To drink and we’ve already made plans to go back next weekend!
Food Works is a good option for a standard, American meal. There was nothing that we tried that I would rate as exceptional, but overall was a good experience. We enjoyed calamari to start, which is flash fried and comes along with marinara an aoli. The aoli was just ok, nothing great. We enjoyed some martinis, which were not served in a traditional martini glass and were not prepared as asked - I would rate as sub par and would not order again. The entrees were good, but not great - we ordered the Salmon and Ribeye. Service was also good, but nothing too great either. Overall, I would say the experience was good, but nothing exceptional here.
Food was very good. We ate outside & the service seemed a bit slow but overall everything was fine. Will dine here again in the future.
Food was not the best the bacon on my salad literally tasted like pork Rinds and salad over all want that great, my bruschetta was very soggy, hubs had wings and he really liked them he has liked the French dip however said Brussels were very bland.
The food was good but the brisket was half fat and not in a good, ‘adding to the flavor’ kind of way. However....the bread pudding might actually be one of the best dessert we’ve ever had. The staff was friendly and our server was great!
Delicious food and appreciate accommodating multiple food allergies
Upstairs in the corner is tough. Service slow and food ok
Even though we had reservations, we had to wait. And, in fairness, they were probably waiting for a table for the lady with the cane (me). The food was good and he service was good. For those who need to know, they are accessible.
The brunch is always a winner for us. The spacing between tables was big enough for Coronavirus protection but so large a gap that you felt alone. Outstanding service.
Great service great food we enjoyed our evening
Had a lovely dinner on a Fri. night. There were 5 of us and everyone's dinner was quite good. We all opted for the salmon and flounder with the garlic mashed potatoes. Our wait person was very attentive and no one ever had to request refills on drinks. Was a nice overall experience.
Very good food. My wife's said her lasagna was one of the best she has eaten.
Great atmosphere, but food was just ok.
Service was terrible. Not enough employees for a Saturday brunch
Enjoyed my brunch and people were spaced out and servers wore their mask.
Usually a great stop for us but things seemed to be a bit “off” in the kitchen. The spinach appetizer was delicious as was the Salmon but the rest of one out of four dishes was not great odds
The staff was very friendly and the tables were separated giving plenty of room to feel safe and comfortable. The food was delicious! We will definitely be back.
I feel as if the plate was very small given the price.
Staff was very accommodating. We were a little late for our reservation. Also manager was very nice. My friend pasta had pieces of pork or beef in it that wasn’t apart of the ingredients. The manager fixes her a new one that she took to go because we were done eating. I think she should have taken OT off the ticket as well. I love being able to buy a bottle of champagne for mimosas and they provided the juice with no extra cost.
Just passing through Chattanooga and found this cool place.
Cameron was an excellent server. He sure knew his wines!
FW is my favorite place to visit because I love the choices on the menu and have never been disappointed in any way. The selections are difficult to replicate at home and I love to be introduced to new foods, especially when the chef is excellent!
We were visiting from out of town and found this place on open table. What a gem. Food was good, service was great, staff was friendly.
We had a great meal at Food Works while visiting Chattanooga! Food was delicious and the service was great. We will be back the next time we visit.
Waitress was MIA the entire meal. Food was good but I had to request poached eggs with a SOFT yolk. REALLY? Wanted a drink but waitress came at the end of the meal. My husband requested a beer. A server who was not our server got the beer for him. WOW, I can be home, make PROPER poached eggs ( I’m not a chef) get my Bloody Mary, Mimosa, whatever, without waiting forever. Restaurants in Chattanooga- google poached eggs. It’s not rocket science!
I generally have a pleasant experience; however, my last experience was HORRIBLE. The server was inattentive and the food was cold. I sent the food back and when I received it a second time it was still cold.
Brisket was a little dry, however the brussel sprouts and chicken picata were delicious
We were able to get a last minute reservation which was nice. Restaurant was a cute place with a nice outdoor deck and rustic urban decor inside. Our evening started out great. We were greeted by our waitress quickly, she took our drink and appetizer order right away and they were brought out shortly after. We had the queso and the spinach artichoke dip. Both were delicious. That’s pretty much where the positivity ended. It took forever for our dinners to come out. Our group ordered the flounder with mashed potatoes, the salmon with bacon Brussels sprouts, the lasagna and the scampi with shrimp. Flounder was very good but the mashed potatoes were flavorless. Same with the salmon, the fish was fine but the Brussels sprouts were mushy. Lasagna was just ok, left most of it. The service was painfully slow the rest of the evening despite there being very few customers both in the dining room and patio. Our waitress kept disappearing for long periods of time. In fact at one point there were no visible wait servers in sight. All in all it was disappointing. Maybe it needs a second chance, but with so many other outstanding places to eat in Chattanooga it’s not one I’m willing to give.
Daytrip to Rock City and needed somewhere to eat but mindful of social distancing. We found FoodWorks by chance and it was really good. We sat on the patio, tables were well spaced and the server wore her mask at all times.
The food was excellent, I had the salmon which I am always cautious about ordering as it can sometimes be overcooked but FW did an excellent job, it was cooked to perfection.
My better half had the Smoked brisket which is smoked on site, it was delicious, perfectly cooked. The side of fries (piping hot) and slaw was just right. Menu had a good selection that should suit all palates and reasonably price.
Absolutely the best place in town. Excellent everything
Swordfish is awesome!
Yummy, cool place, good service.
Considering there were only 2 waiters they did a great job.a little e food but as usual it is always !
