Despite availability of other tables, and having a reservation, we were given worst table in the house by door leading to patio. Freezing draft every time it opened. Host ignored my attempts to get his attention so finally went to host stand and we were told we could move back one table (still drafty). No help to move though. I might add I was with my 88 year old mom and 13 year old niece. Our server was fine but we came expecting lunch menu and for some reason they were serving brunch on a Friday at 1:30pm. We ended up just ordering burgers which took 30 min to get. Food was tasty enough but ridiculously huge portions that none of us could eat more than 1/2 of. So just kinda "meh" overall.

We went for Thanksgiving brunch. All the food was tasty (Prime rib was excellent). Desserts were very, very delicious! This was our second time dining at FoodWorks and we will be back! The lines were a bit long for the buffet and it was pretty crammed, but it was all worth it.

Everything was good and staff very attentive and accommodating. Pretty substantial hike up the stairs for my elderly mother in law. Had smoked turkey cobb salad and the meat was sandwich meat. Not what I expected but ok. Crab dip and fried green tomatoes very good as well as fish entrees. Overall good.

The service was horrible. So bad that it ruined the whole experience. We finally got our food after being there for an hour, and it was lukewarm. We eat at Food Works a lot, and usually have a good experience, but I don't think we will be back for awhile.

Food was good. Our server was not good. Just very slow service. Took forever to get our drinks. She told us the kitchen was moving slow so we decided to only have an appetizer. It was a not a great experience and I wouldn’t go back. Seemed like it may have only impacted our section as we saw other groups who seemed to be having much better service.

We arrived at 6:05 P.M. ordered a drink and appetizer. A few minutes later we ordered salad and entree'. Our salads and entree' arrived together at 7:20 P.M. We sent them back as we had not even received our appetizer. My short rib and my wife's salmon were fresh and well prepared. The restaurant is in an industrial setting. It's more of a sports bar with better than average food. We probably wouldn't go back. It's not because it's bad food. They probably just had a bad night. It just wasn't our type of ambiance/vibe.

Been to Food Works twice. The food is yummilicious. Has roasted grouper on one ocassion and grilled pork chop on another. Both tasted very good and good pairing with sides. Try the Spinach Artichokes starter.....thumbs up!!! Service was excellent and server (Ms. Farren C) was very friendly. Ambience quiet and rustic. Would certainly visit again and recommend diners to go Food Works. Oh yes, the menu was not overwhelming i.e. not over-loaded with choices.

We started with bruschetta and truffle fries for appetizers; amazing! Then for entrees: braised short ribs, Caesar salad with steak, pork chop, and chicken piccata; all great entrees! For dessert: bread pudding and tiramisu; bread pudding was amazing, tiramisu was very liquidity. Overall loved the ambience in the restaurant. Such a neat historic building. Will visit again!

I brought my two best friends to Foodworks for their very first time. We walked right in, were brought to a table, and the server was amazing. She was prompt, efficient, and most importantly friendly. The mimosas were fabulous and everybody loved the food. A perfect brunch spot!

Things were great. The restaurant got very busy after we were seated, so things did take a little while, but we were in no rush and our server was kind to apologize about the delay. But we were not upset. Food was hot and delicious and we had a great meal.

We dined here for Sun Brunch and everything was delicious. Our server (I believer here name is Karen) was simply wonderful. We ordered Shrimp and grits, Norwegian Omelet, Crab cakes, fried green tomatoes w/ pimento cheese, candied shrimp, spinach artichoke dip, and Mimosas.

Nice little brunch. Fried green tomatoes were a little greasy, but the pimento cheese made it worth it. Chicken and waffles were on point and the Norwegian Omelet was pretty good. Breakfast potatoes reminded me of hotel breakfast potatoes; it could have been better. A decent Bloody Mary, but as with all drinks served in Chattanooga, I'm pretty sure it was a virgin.
