Voted one of Chattanooga’s Best Restaurants, Food Works strives to provide its guests with a quality experience in a refined, yet relaxed atmosphere. Located on Chattanooga’s North Shore, we are situated in the beautifully renovated and historic Signal Knitting Mill.

With a variety of items to choose from, our menu focuses on “progressive southern” cuisine with global influences showcasing our culinary team’s ability to put new spins on old classics. The spacious bar features an array of imported, domestic and craft beers along with an extensive wine list as well as classic cocktails and specialty martinis. Unfortunately, it was our first time there and it was fantastic only to find out that they’re closing in today. May 26 is their last day in business. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was terrific, and our waitress (Sutton) was outstanding. I’m just sorry that Chattanooga is losing what we’ve discovered to be such an excellent restaurant Jamie.

I loved Foodworks and have been there many times over the last 15+years. I’m so sad to see them close their doors due to landlords building apartments in the venue. Chattanooga and the surrounding area is soon going to be a place with many housing units and nowhere to go nearby for food or entertainment. I’ll miss foodworks!

Good was really good. Service not so great. Seated at dirty table & just left there. Mimosa was not cold. We were never asked if we wanted water or if I we wanted another drink.

I had the braised ribs. Very tender and well seasoned. Alot of fat tho....no sides came with it. Brussel sprouts were delicious.

Presentation is everything. The lighting was in adequate on salad and hot food line. The desserts that were placed were really under par. Nothing more than frozen item that were thawed out. Second floor buffet was entirely too tight to adequately have time to go through the line without being pushed by the people behind you. We understood that that the set was buffet style. But again, the presentation was not the Mother's Day experience my wife and I were looking for. Lance Dorsey 1pm reservation

The shrimp and grits, and the grouper were both amazing! It was an incredible value for the food we had. We will definitely be returning customers
