The food was delicious as usual... our server Madison was awesome!
Family vacation to Chattanooga
Food and service was excellent as always. Keep up the good work.
First, the waiter was great and very accommodating despite the issue we had with the food. My fiance and I both ordered steak medium well, hers was cooked perfectly and had great flavor but her vegetables weren't cooked all the way through, mine was a new york strip that came out medium rare and was covered in what tasted like watered down A-1 sauce. I told the waiter it wasn't cooked all the way and they brought me out another very quickly. This second steak was cooked medium well as requested but still had next to no flavor and covered with most tasteless steak sauce I've ever had, also the seasoned fries it came with barely had seasoning on it. All in all the food did not stack up to the price we paid for the dinner.
Me and my wife went here for Valentines Day. I had Prime Rib and she had Chicken Piccata and we LOVED it all. Highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to go back.
It was a great place for a date!
Nice evening spent with friends at a large table where we weren't disturbed by other patrons. We went on Ladies night and got some good discounts on apps and drinks, although the drinks seemed to be a little light on alcohol. Meals were enjoyed by most everyone. The guest with the brisket plate seemed to eat the least. I had the salmon which was had a little too much horseradish in the crust (although I am a horseradish lover). It almost overpowered the salmon. Brussels were delicious. Others had shrimp and grits and seemed to enjoy them. The apps were delicious: fried green tomatoes and the shrimp.
So glad we made a reservation — there were lots of people waiting for tables. My husband’s house salad with added grilled chicken and my Asian chicken salad both were delicious. We shared a coffee toffee bread pudding a la mode for dessert — outstanding. We’d return in a heartbeat!
I had a reservation for 12:00 and arrived at the restaurant at 11:30, but wasn't seated until 12:20 PM.
The waitress didn't serve any bread until we asked because we're hungry. The seating for 2 was very narrow and not a good view. The waitress could've served us the bread without asking. Is the restaurant policy? Also, we could've been given mimosa while waiting for 45 mins. The French toast portions were meagre though tasty. Seems like customer satisfaction wasn't the prime mover.
Very disappointed. Also, not very many vegetarian options.
ISN'T IT ILLEGAL NOT TO PRINT THE CALORIES OF THE FOOD BEING SERVED?
We had a wonderful Sunday brunch (hint: make reservations, wait time was 55 minutes!). The food was excellent, the service was great, and the prices were very reasonable. It was crowded, so the noise level was pretty loud, but we expected that. Wonderful brunch selections!
The food was mediocre at best. Out of the 7 adults at our table, only 1 person liked their entree. Only 1 of the 4 different desserts we ordered was good. The server was not friendly.
Service was great. . Food was good. Yet miss the freshness and variety of the older menus that were lical farm to table.
Always enjoy brunch at Foodworks! It's one of my go-tos in Chattnooga!
Really good food and a great place to enjoy dinner with friends. OpenTable got us right in and when we arrived, there was a fairly large queue of people waiting for tables. Prices were surprisingly low and the food was very good. Will return.
Love the weekend brunch and the mimosas. I got the breakfast burrito and was not disappointed. Everyone else's food looked great as well.
We love Food Works! The food is always very good and the service is wonderful. We highly recommend!
We had a retirement party for our friend. Everything was great! The restaurant even brought a free cake for him. That was such a nice perk! Thank you Food Works!
If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! Loved everything about it, good location, fantastic food, wonderful service, it has it all!
The food was delicious! Our waitress was friendly and enabled us to enjoy our visit.
Food wasn’t the best. Some favorites have been taken off the menu. Overall wasn’t that impressed
The food is outstanding. On this particular visit the service was a little lacking, but overall still a very good experience. Our waitress seemed a little pre-occupied and we had to request drink refills and to-go containers from another server but other than that no complaints.
Great food always
The food was fair and the wait staff never returned. I had to flag someone down to get more water.
Some friends and i met for brunch to celebrate a birthday... food and drinks were amazing.
Our server Madison was excellent as well
We went to Foodworks for New Years Day Brunch. Considering the huge crowd, service was excellent. My husband was disappointed in his crab cake Benedict ( only get one) but my entree was excellent. Can’t beat the drink prices!!!!
Highly recommend a reservation if you have multiple people. The food was delicious with great presentation.
We have reserved a table with Open Table twice at Foodworks and were seated at the same table both times. Unfortunately, the table was in a high traffic area right inside the front door. It was noisy, and we got a blast of cold air whenever the door opened. In the past, we have gotten a much better table without the Open Table reservation. Also, the pan seared Mahi was tough and fishy. My husband had the horseradish crusted salmon (which I have loved in the past), and he said it was delicious. I will go back to the salmon when I want fish. I do continue to like Foodworks and will go back. Service is always good, and the food is normally good. Brunch is great there.
An enjoyable evening out with the family for New Year’s
Brunch with my husband
We made a reservation, however when we arrived , the only non high top tables were upstairs...Not ideal for elderly guests. It was freezing upstairs, so we ordered hot tea, which apparently they were out of (how do you run out of hot tea, and not send someone to the store to get it on a cold rainy night?). Food was inconsistent, and not as ordered. French fries were cold. Both server and hostess were less than friendly.
Christmas family get-together.
What an find in Chattanooga. The bacon Brussels sprouts were amazing. We enjoyed everything, from the ambience to the service.
My Mahi was disappointingly overcooked, making it tough and dry. I was not asked how I would like it cooked. At noon on Christmas Eve, we had to wait for coffee because they had to brew some. The rest of the food was adequate but not unusual or special.
It was an absolutely amazing!! The food tasted incredible
Food wasn’t very good! We came for dinner and were disappointed. Really just the overall taste of the food wasn’t good. Tasted to forced to be something great but flavors did mix. We love it for brunch though but won’t be returning for dinner.
We had a large group for brunch and were happy to be served promptly, the food came out quickly and was excellent. We will definitely stop here again when we are in town.
We normally like this restaurant, but this experience was not good. Ordered Fish and Chips, the fish was very over cooked. Ordered Shrimp and Grits, and the Grits were like a soup.
Service was very slow as well.
The food was fantastic! It was so hard to choose what to order. Portions were generous and visually appealing. Reservations were easy to make and everything was ready for our large group when we came in. The place is gorgeous with tons of exposed brick. We didn’t realize at first that most of the seating was upstairs. We were able to get one of our party with a physical disability up the stairs with some extra time, but be sure to call ahead/make a reservation to try to get an accommodation on the first floor for those unable to make it up the stair case. They won’t know unless you ask. Great experience overall!
I was glad they kept our cake refrigerated and let us decorate before we ate. I did note that our waitress' demeanor seemed to change once my friends came for lunch (one who is graduating with her Masters degree --we were celebrating). I am white and before they arrived she was pleasant and friendly. My friends are African American and her mood instantly changed upon their arrival. She was dismissive towards them when they asked questions and had an angry look on her face. I was disappointed because myself, friends and family attend Food Works for any special occasion. Including birthdays, anniversaries and we had lunch there the day I got married to celebrate.
