    As always, the restaurant did not disappoint. My girlfriends from Florida loved it! I ordered the Crispy Japanese Sweet Potato dish. It was fabulous! Consist good food and excellent service! Highly recommend. The setting is so beautiful next to the canal.

    The food is top-notch, cannot be beat. The restaurant is very dark so we had to use flashlights on our phone to read the menu. I also feel like they should tell you that the bread at your table costs extra. Also be aware that they give American size portions so they are enormous. The value is very good for what you’re getting. You could easily split the brussels sprouts side dish between 4 Canadians.

    The food was outstanding, and I would highly recommend it. Our server recommended the popcorn shrimp to start, and the spices and sauce were out of this world. Ditto for the cauliflower. We then got an Asian crunch salad with chicken to share (and without asking, the waiter split it in two - very sweet) and an order of garlic-oiled bread. Overall, we couldn't have been more pleased with the meal. Our waiter was just the right amount of solicitous. Our only negative was the noise - it is a bar-type place so not surprising and don't hold it against them but if was warmer, next time we will eat outdoors to have less noise.

    We thoroughly enjoyed the "Steak Night" (or also called "Date Night") menu at STK. It's a great deal! 3-course menu for $69 per person including a bottle of Prosecco. We both had the shrimp cocktail appetizer which has 5 huge shrimp. For entrees we had the NY strip steak and Chilean sea bass - both exellent and enough to take some home. For dessert we shared the "Bag O Donuts" - loved the chocolate and caramel sauces. We also had excellent service. If you're in Old Town Scottsdale on Sunday-Thursday, definitely consider this great deal, BUT be sure to ask for it.
