He's born and raised in Italy so we knew we had to pick an amazing restaurant. Basta was purely heaven, as it always is. The special fried zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta and prosciutto was off the charts. We also ordered the meatballs and eggplant. Our friends commented on how amazing the food was and the sauce was again one of the most tasteful we've experienced. We also got the veal parm and swordfish. and of course, topped off dinner with tiramisù and butter cake. The staff was truly amazing as they always are. Giselle our favorite was on the floor and helping out our primary server, (we just love her). Last night was a huge microburst thru Cranston, the lights went on/off 3 times and the servers just kept smiling and serving the food. Thank you all for an amazing night as always.
