This is the second time I have dine here and the quality and presentation of the food has decreased. The hotel area is very charming and the service was great.
It was great!
Express lunch a great value. Food exceptional
Beautiful setting and ambiance in the Biltmore's interior, open-air courtyard.
I told them five times before getting there and upon checking in we were celebrating my husband’s 60th bday. Told the waiter. They did nothing for dessert- only put a happy bday choc sign on pie after I said something. Not ok!
Also, between appetizers and dinner, we waited over 45 min. It wasn’t even that busy. Not cool.
Beautiful location , great service and great food. Worth it !
Was very pleasant. Service was wonderful, I would definitely recommend!
Food and service were impeccable My friends who haven’t gone out since Covid hit felt very safe eating in the outdoor area.
My birthday celebration at the Biltmore was fabulous snd memorable. Each restaurant offered a nice selection of food-Fontana was delicious and creative with their food! As a hotel the only negative was the quality of the towels-very cheap/ too worn/ and thread bare.
Outstanding meal with great service. Open air patio restaurant was beautiful. Extremely loud music from a wedding reception was overpowering. Every table around us asked about pounding bass noise. Too bad as our waiter and the chef did a great job.
Great customer service ,ambience , and food quality outstanding
A great meal in a beautiful garden
My twin sister and I celebrated our 33RD birthday. The whole experience was AMAZING!
Food is excellent. Table service good. Hotel staff could be more attentive.
A beautiful and peaceful place to dine at the Biltmore Hotel.
The Grilled Octopus is the best in town!
Beautiful and elegant place, nice ambiance but food took over 1.5 hours and that was after going to complain about it.
Dining by the fountain in the courtyard is a very nice way to enjoy wonderful food.
Food and service were terrible. Our waiter took forever and the. The food was terrible. The risotto was inedible, the ravioli was soggy and terrible. Waiter forgot to bring a side dish we’d ordered but never came back to check on us so we didn’t bother fixing. Also BEWARE we split the bill and received two charge slips to sign, however, the ‘suggested tip’ calculation is on the total bill and not the 1/2 amount. All in all summary is that we’ll never return. What a poor service and food experience.
Birthday dinner... nice experience
Celebrating my parents 52nd wedding anniversary
I enjoyed the fixed Christmas Eve dinner menu, it truly was amazing. We were first served Gazpacho, which I always thought I would dislike, but very pleasantly surprised me with its wonderful journey of flavors. To follow was a delightful antipasto selection including Burrata, prosciutto, salami, artichokes, and red peppers. The Burrata’s perfect creaminess was complimented by the salty cured meats- delightful. The thirds course I selected was a braised short rib accompanied by some vegetables and mash potatoes of sorts. The meat would fall apart a the touch of your fork, and the serving was very satisfying. Last but not least, the desert was a rare treat for the palate, it was a slice of a mouse like chocolate cake that had slices of baked apples in it. Having said that, unfortunately, the service and ambiance were lacking in my opinion. We were seated near the door, so people were constantly walking by our table. The servers seemed a bit stretched, we rarely saw ours and had to constantly be pouring our own wine and such. While the ambiance was nice, I mean it is the Biltmore, I feel like they could have at least had some music playing. It was Christmas Eve after all. So while the food was great, the service and ambiance left a lot to be desired.
another great experience for our 11th marriage anniversary
Exquisite cuisine, great service, amazing environment. I love the Biltmore and can not wait to go back again. 💖✨💫
La recepcionista puso en Open Table que no llegamos, es muy frustrante. El lugar muy bonito, falta de mantenimiento general, comida no tan buena, los meseros excelente servicio excepto de la recepcionista de entrada al restaurante
The Biltmore is an iconic location but the terrace of the restaurant needs to be painted and the landscape manicured. The service was slow. The waiter never came to fill our wine glasses or refresh the water. The food was good, not great but if the service had been nice we would have considered returning.
Excellent experience!! Arnel was great!!
It's a beautiful setting. it was a cold night (60F, for Miami that is cold) and we sat by the fountain, which made it very romantic. all the plants also give a nice sense of privacy.
Another great dinner experience in our favorite venue.
We had the pleasure of running into Gene Prescott and family.
Happy Holidays to all the Biltmore staff.
Fontana has been one of my go to restaurants for many years. Since the pandemics we had not been so this was a truly special night for us. They seemed short staffed when we got there but the service was ok. Our sever was professional and kind though stretched.
We started with the Cesar salad which was as always very good. The tuna tartar was ok but not what I would have expected.. flavors were muted. Sadly our experience seriously soured after that. The main course my partner ordered, spinach crusted swordfish, was awful. Fish was dried out the spinach did not compliment the flavor of the fish and the coconut sauce that went with it was flat and in no way went along with the fish and spinach . This came with a fresh “slaw” that was also fairly lifeless in flavor ... I have was not able to eat my burratini for the pine nuts or the oil used had gone rancid. They were very kind an offered to bring me something else but by then we were fairly put off. They also offered a complimentary dessert. It saddens me to write this up but my hope is they do a taste test and adjust there menu and better prepare to cover tables.
We will return and stick to there tried and true pastas and other dishes. The Biltmore is a gem in our community.. and one bad meal does not deter us from returning.. but I believe Fontana should review the two dishes that went so wrong for us.
One of the nicest outdoor settings In the Gables, however management needs to improve service!!! Waiters are not trained well. It is dark now during dinner time and there are no lights on the table and the explanation from the manager that it is not allowed during Covit makes no sense! Restaurants Fiola and TUR sure know how to create an attractive romantic table so that one can read a menu , see the food and the faces of your dining partners. They still have paper menus instead a scanning device which is safer! No temperature taken either.
Overall at the Biltmore one always has the feeling they don’t care.
Beautiful courtyard and nice to eat outdoors, but the food isn't quite as good as it used to be.
website needs to updated
brunch status is still showing on website and is misleading to the customer .
we only went for the brunch and only lunch was served.
very disappointed
Overall a fantastic experience. Great service, outstanding food!
Beautiful outdoor covered (or uncovered) patio with antique fountain and stone floors. Elegant Florida.
Food was amazing - I had the braised lamb ravioli with truffles and mushrooms. My daughter had the most amazing serving of grilled octopus and my husband had the grilled salmon. Everything cooked to order and wonderfully flavorful.
The staff was professional and attentive from the hostess to the servers.
This is the way dining should always be.
Michael Ann was very patient and attentive. The food was fabulous and definitely finish your evening with an Irish coffee.
We had the courtyard to ourselves, the perfect spot to celebrate our 10th anniversary in covid-safe style. Our service was impeccable and food and beverage delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
Always great! We felt a little rushed to order at the beginning, but waitress understood we were not in a hurry celebrating my Birthday 🥂. The hotel is marvelous, the food delightful and the service outstanding 😊. Overall we had an amazing time discovering this Historic Hotel!! Picture perfect!!!!
AMAZING all around. Food was incredible (I had the veal shank stuffed ravioli), ambiance was beautiful, and the service was great as always!
Felt very safe. All staff wore masks, and tables were outside and spaced far apart. Food was fantastic!
