I go there a LOT and lately, the service has been slower. It takes a long time to get acknowledged... then it takes a while to get your drinks and food... then you have to track down your server for a refill...... What's up guys?

Food was very good - service was not. Had to ask for the drink I had ordered 20 minutes earlier, had to ask twice for a box and again for the check...

I typically like the restaurant but they were taking reservations on st. patty's day on open table but the restaurant was not actually allowing the reservations to be taking into account. I understand that day was super busy so they should not allow us to make reservations if they will not honor them.

Customer service really needs help here!!!

Service was slow and unorganized... not to mention the disgusting dirty restrooms. The bathroom upstairs was closed off and out of service had to use the men’s restroom which was absolutely filthy.
Overall.... disappointed !!!

We just had to check out this place and the food did not disappoint - of course you can't go wrong with a Guinness! The is probably the best Brussels Sprouts appetizer dish that I have come across! It was well done and had so much flavor. The grilled cheese and tomato soup were interesting - never came across that on a menu before - but a pleasant surprised! Fish and Chips were great! Overall a good experience and not pricey! So Enjoy - it is worth a visit!

We picked R&R to pregame for the USC Homecoming Game 11/4/17. We all had a great time and our server Kate was THE BEST!!

Had the wings and the grilled cheese served with tomato soup. Both were good. Place is quiet when there isn't a local football game. Bartender also waited on tables so the service was spotty.

I love the energy of this place, but the service was lacking. We were there to watch the USC vs Texas game, and many others had the same idea as the restaurant staff was clearly overwhelmed with the business. The hostess and manager had their backs to us for nearly 5 minutes before realizing we were standing at the door (with a line behind us) waiting to be seated. After being placed in a booth surrounded by other empty tables, it took 10 minutes for a server to finally apologize and say she'll be with us in a few minutes. Our server looked like a deer in headlights and never once smiled as she rushed through our orders (luckily we noticed the advertisement for happy hour on the table or else we wouldn't have known of any specials). Once we received our food and drinks the entire experience changed. The Fish and Chips were delicious and the portion was perfect for one person. My date ordered the Shepard's Pie and loved it, saying it reminded him of a home-cooked meal. Though our server rarely checked in on us as we ate, we were very happy with our orders. Thank you to the kitchen crew who prepared our food! I'd love to return only if the restaurant hires a more competent staff. It is unacceptable that a bar/restaurant in DTLA cannot keep up with a crowd for a local sporting event when it's only about half-full.

No one greeted us and we had to seat ourselves. I'm guessing this caused me not to earn points for my visit, this location was under staffed for sure.

My experience here was just meh. Service was slow slow slow. Everything except the food which you would think would be the only thing that matter but not so.

First when I walked in there was no one around. THere is big sign that says wait to be seated. I waited about 3 minutes far longer than standard. When hostess finally arrived i was seated. I think waited another 7 minutes to be even be acknowledged by waitress.

My food came out quickly not by her but a very friendly gentleman, way more so attentive than her. He brought out all my dishes. I ordered the Irish Nachos, fish and chips and ice cream burger. The Irish Nachos were tasty. They were heavy on the cheese easy on scallions and bacon :( after about the first 5 chips on top no more bacon and scallions. I didnt finish them. The fish and chips were good at first, fish no problem nice and crispy I liked. Toward the bottom of the fries the ones touches the actually pan ( all the dishes came out in what resembled a small cast iron skillet) they had a weird metallic taste, something was off didnt finish. The ice cream burger would be my only complaint food wise. i found the food good here , but the donut was not fresh. Is there a Krispy Kreme downtown? If so my suggestion is picking them up fresh everyday. The donut was hard, i didnt eat it just ate the ice cream.

Overall, while the food was good, it was nothing to write home to mama about nor tell a friend they have to try it. Unless you live in the area, its worth checking out, but driving to to get there, no skip. The service was not good unless you like hurry up and wait.

Oh and a positive for the people who like sports, lots of tvs with all the sports playing. There were 4 tvs within my view playing 2 different baseball games, a soccer game and a basketball game. And it was loud as heII in there, seems like a good sports bar at least from what i see on tv lol im sooo not a sports person

I really love this place. The menu has an amazing variety to choose from and happy hour is awesome. But what makes this place for me, besides the Tots, is how nice everyone there is. From the moment you walk in the staff there are amazing. Been there several times and I will most definitely be back again.

What can I say? I love this place. Each and every time I go here I try something new and I am never disappointed. PLUS I always get the tots. Best tots ever! Staff is very nice and the atmosphere just makes me happy. The ONLY thing I don't like is the parking. They don't validate for lunch and that is not good. I would come more often if they did. PLus what happened to the lunch special?

There was an initial glitch and we didn't have a waitress for at least 10 minutes, but once resolved (there was confusion at the front desk) we were good. The place was hopping on a Friday @ lunchtime. At times, almost too loud, but I just moved in closer to my friend so I could hear better, and we were fine. Food was delicious. Love that tomato soup/grilled cheese combo!

Open Table reservations kept advising that this restaurant wasn't accepting reservations. I called the restaurant multiple times, reaching full voicemail. Finally showed up and turned out Open Table reservation went through after all. With plenty of empty tables we were shown to an inconveniently located table for two. Server kept repeating himself, as if he had a script and couldn't remember which tables had heard it already. Overpriced for lunch. I won't go back and wouldn't recommend it. (Update 10/19/16: When I submitted this review in June, this restaurant was called FOH. The above review refers to FOH, not to Rock & Reilly's. R&R is great - will review it separately.)

Me and my partner came to FOH during dineLA week and we had to add an extra dish to our menu! This was our first time coming to the restaurant and we loved it, we are definitely coming back to try different dishes from the regular menu. Unfortunately, they didn't have the dessert we wanted but we were able to grab another dessert from the regular menu to substitute it for the dineLA lunch menu. The restaurant looks very nice, I felt comfortable in the atmosphere.
