One of our favorite restaurants. Nick and his staff are always polite, friendly and attentive. Food is always great.

Cozy atmosphere compliments the food. Best of all it’s a byob so you get to bring your favorite beverage and local store prices.

Try it you’ll love it!

We always enjoy coming here. Small but is cozy. Food is reliable and good. Always crowded for dinner. Love it for lunch year round but summer outside dining is fun

I have visited here before and always enjoyed my dinner. This time was not the case. I started with a Caesar salad that was nice fresh lettuce but very lemony tasting. It just tasted like a creamy lemon vinaigrette. Wasn’t awful but probably wouldn’t order again. I then had the fettuccini bolognese. This was nothing but clumped mushy pasta over sauced in what should have been a thick Ragu type of sauce. Barely any meat to be found. Pasta seemed fresh but was all stuck together in a big lump. We passed on dessert and coffee. Very disappointing evening . Hope it was just an off night. The eggplant lasagna was very good.

We have eaten here a bunch of times, both lunch and dinner, so we wonder what went wrong last night. We started with the crispy oyster app which was excellent. Our waiter steered us very, very hard on our entrees. I had the veal chop which was tasty but way under-cooked, at least 10 degrees maybe more: it was still raw on the very inside despite the request for medium. It was a lovely thick chop, so that could explain it. Where it went badly was the strip steak special which the waiter insisted - I would actually say aggressively pushed - my husband to have instead of the veal funghi. The steak was awful: thin, tasteless and extremely tough. The interesting bit was the adjacent table, who arrived about 45 mins after us, were not offered the steak special; there was a gnocchi special in its place. What this tells me is someone was told or decided to push the last portion of an awful special. To end the meal, we made the mistake of listening to the waiter again on the dessert: we split the carrot cake which could best be described as gummy; it tasted like it had been sitting uncovered in the fridge for three days. A shame. We are hoping this is an aberration but want to put the restaurant and diners on notice: this was not a typical meal for us here...I hope!

Service was very slow. 2.5 hours before we got our meal. I am accustomed to exceptional service from Foccacceria. I think this Saurday, warm night in Oct, they were overwhelmed with partons and didn't have the staff to support. Still a favorite! Food was still very good.
We will be back, but think twice about a Saturday night. Maybe this winter they will become the neighbor gem the are knowed for.

Loved the food and service here. They had a gent playing guitar who did not take one single break. It was distracting and very hard to hear conversations. Besides that, our outdoor dinner experience was fab.

Excellent meal and service. The patio is a joy even as the weather gets chilly. Jet heaters keep you cozy. And it's BYOB, which I love.

I's all about the terrific food at this restaurant. Beautifully presented and delicious! Service was good, but hampered somewhat by very close quarters. That's the only complaint--small indoor space and tables very close together. That said, they have a wonderful patio setup for outdoor dining. That's the way to go!

This place never disappoints! Arrived at 2pm for a late lunch; several diners still in the restaurant. We were not hurried by the staff and the food was absolutely delicious. Started with tasty crisp & spicy calamari. I had a Caesar with grilled shrimp, my husband had a chopped salad with salmon. We took our time finishing our wine and chatted with one of the owners about how they make their Caesar dressing. Given its lovely location, charming dining room and garden, it's not surprising people come here. But the superb food and service - and it's a BYO! - take it right over the top. They have lots of regulars, and it's no surprise why.

We come here frequently, and are so very pleased that each and every time we come, the food, service and atmosphere are great...this time, we had an additional friend join us, adding a 7th person, and the staff could not have been more helpful to accomadate us to make feel very comfortable. They always have new and exciting specials! I LOVE THIS PLACE!

Arrived and was seated outside, which is a lovely space. The young women hostesses were very smiley and friendly, and that was the last smile we saw. The manager (?) appeared at our table and with no smile and no greeting, told us the specials and then walked away. We received bread and ordered drinks. The waiter, who seemed to be scowling off the bat, asked us if we were ready to order and we said we had a few questions. My husband asked if they could leave the cheese off the veal chop and he said yes, and I told him I was allergic to peppers and could they leave that out- he also said yes. So we ordered those dishes and a salad to share. They not only did NOT split the salad, they did not bring us salad plates so we used bread plates. After a short wait he brought the veal chop and the steak, which clearly was on a bed of vegetables that included a bunch of RED PEPPERS! When I called it to his attention he argued with me, and then made a nasty face and walked off, NO APOLOGY ! We waited about 10 minutes while my husband;s very pricey veal chop got cold. He brought me a new steak again with NO APOLOGY ! I reminded him that I have an allergy and so I hoped this was a totally new plate. He said it was and I thanked him. He walked away without a word. The steak was pretty poor, not the quality one would expect for $45.00 !!! We finished our meal without some much as a glance from any of the staff. When we were done, I found the manager. After I explained the situation he walked away- I asked him if that was it? He said he would be right with me. At this point my husband had asked the busboy for the check and we waited....and waited.....Then the hostess brought us the check for the table next to us- much cheaper but not ours. Finally the manager came over, apologized and did take the steak off the bill. I will give them credit for that, but the attitude of everyone, except the hostesses, was appalling and totally ruined the meal.

It was raining so the patio wasn't open. Food was good, not great. The best entrée was the Ahi salad. Gazpacho was a disappointment. It's an Italian restaurant run by Russians - go figure

The wait staff tries very hard to turn over the outdoor tables as fast as possible due to the outdoor seating demand (Note a single diner was seated inside on our 80 degree summer night visit).
We were seated right on time for our reservation @7pm and were immediately swarmed over by the waiter & bus boy with water & bread, etc. The waiter proceeded to rattle off the specials before we even had a chance to settle in. Our wine was opened quickly & poured. The wait staff continued pouring the wine in already half full glasses until it was almost gone.
I had to explain to them to please stop-we wanted some wine left when our entrees came out!
The food was good but to many local families showed up with kids and let them run wild throughout the outdoor seating area & adjacent lawn annoying other dinners. I had to complain to the hostess to tell the parents to make the kids stop playing tag & hide n seek games around us.
I would only return again for lunch during the week when there is less a chance obnoxious, clueless parents would bring their kids.

Only disappointment was the long wait when we had already reserved a table a week ahead of time. They made that easier by uncorking one of our bottles of wine and giving us glasses to sip while we waited. The rest of the experience was perfect. Will go again.

My wife and I are frequent patrons because we are never disappointed - food is always delicious and well prepared. Nice people. It is close by so we are lucky to have a fantastic place so close, but would drive 30 minutes or more for a meal at Focacceria.
