Tucked inside the charming and historic Craftsman Court in the heart of downtown Scottsdale, FnB owes its praise and passion to owners Charleen Badman and Pavle Milic. Milic helped FnB earn early national recognition by curating the first exclusively-Arizona wine list, perfectly complimenting Charleen’s thoughtful, locally-inspired cooking. Today, Milic himself is Arizona winemaker, and FnB also offers the "Plan B" --a broad, interesting list of domestic and global wines.
FNB is our favorite go-to place for special events in AZ. This one was to celebrate a birthday. It was wonderful.
Wonderfully creative food offerings, with many options for vegetarians. Choosing what we wanted to have among the unique combinations on the menu was a challenge - and helped us decide to select a number of appetizers for the table. We only had room for a single entree after thoroughly enjoying the apps. Great menu for tasting - you won't be disappointed!!
Really enjoyed the meal. Had the terrine and octopus salad to start. Cauliflower for veg and fish for main. All were above average for then price. Wine list is very good with a focus on Arizona wines. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
We were entertaining out of town guests
Great, knowledgeable server! Wonderful food and so interesting.
We loved everything about FnB! The food was unique- with complex flavors and lots of interesting dishes to share. Our server was knowledgeable and engaging and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming with a number of connected smaller rooms.
first time to visit...loved it! Not sure how we missed this place over the past 8 yrs as we visit from Pa. Will definitely be going back again! we are foodies and that was probably the best chicken dish we ever had. Don't take that off the menu! The bean appetizer was also great...very unique!
We go to FNB each year when we vacation AZ. Gets better each year! The staff is top notch!
Excellent, well-crafted meals with interesting flavors.
FnB might be my favorite restaurant in the valley. It's cozy, intimate, and you're sure to be well taken care of. Don't be a hero — if you're not familiar with something on the menu, ask your server and you'll get a vibrant description of what to expect with each dish. My wife and I love to pick a couple things we know we'll like, then ask for recommendations on the rest; the service staff is amazing at helping with recommendations/suggestions, based on what you like. This is a destination I'd take any out-of-towners to just to show off Arizona cuisine.
We were in town to connect with an old friend. We really enjoyed everything about FnB...great food, fantastic service, and perfect ambiance.
The service was probably the worst I’ve had in awhile. We waited so long, I actually had to get another server to request ordering food. The food itself was good and was appropriate portion size. Overall I can’t say the experience was worth going back again
We have been to Fnb many times and have enjoyed our food; however, the steak ordered was tough and the sea bass not very tasty.
Just great, creative food. One of the best tasting dining experiences I've had. Their passion for the food comes through in the service, the taste and presentation of the food. It's all about the flavor.
I would come back multiple times in a week if I weren't headed home. I'll be back though.
The dishes are always creative and surprising. The unique combinations of texture and flavor are what makes this restaurant special. My only criticism is that the vegetable dishes were somewhat bland on my recent visit in comparison to the usual explosion of flavor that is the norm. Nevertheless, this is still one of my favorite restaurants in all of Scottsdale and I look forward to my next opportunity to be wowed by their food.
terrific food. nice service. acknowledged birthday being celebrated with complimentary drink and dessert. very difficult to find even with mapquest assistance. should mention that it is off the street tucked in an alley.
Best food in the Sout Wedt - or maybe fhe dntire
Outstanding food quality and creativity! Sauces compliment the amazing small plates and entrees. Sweet potatoes yum! Swordfish amazing! Chocolate olive oil bake with labne ice cream, unbelievable finish.
FnB continues to be the best place in Scottsdale!
Great! Portions are large so be wary of over ordering.
Great food and service. Being regulars the hostess was a little abrupt.
This is truly one of the best restaurants in Scottsdale. Top quality ingredients, nice portions and big bold flavors await guests coming to FnB. Great wine list as well-- have to ask for the "full" list!!
Our first time at the restaurant. We were a party of six. The service was efficient. We were expecting an outstanding food experience but were disappointed. The dumpling soup was bland, the roast chicken was outstanding but the accompanying vegetables were overcooked. For dessert we had lemon pie and cheesecake. The lemon pie had virtually no lemon flavor and the cheesecake was grainy. For the price we were disappointed.
Excellent food and service. Nice wine selection. Very creative and delicious dishes.
Awesome as always.
We just love FnB. Food is always impeccable and interesting. Not the predictable menu choices you'll see elsewhere. Interesting local ingredients, creatively paired together. Good portions, great service, reasonably priced. Wine list is lovely. You're really missing out if you don't try FnB.
Amazing. Def will be back!
The food was outstanding. Season to taste and it was with the best meals we’ve had in a very long time. Would come back here in a heartbeat.
Waiter was very helpful noting that plates are large and meant to share. He made excellent suggestions. The room is intimate and opens onto a garden/patio area.
Nice to go to a “Gastropub” without the noise and TVs
We ate vegetarian. The Dodd was an awesome experience!
The food is excellent and earthy. You can order 3 items from each flight and that’s plenty for 2 people. Veggies are awesome. Surprised by the Arizona wine. It was quite good.
Could not rave more about how great this place is. The food is exorbitantly unique and delicious and the service is top notch. Don't go in with any preconceived notions of what you do and don't like; just pick at random and trust that it will blow your expectations away.
It was great would recommend to anyone....Charlene is the best in the west ....
Most exquisite dining food experience possible! We’ve committed to come at least one time per month to experience the seasonal changes!
Our group tried several dishes and loved every one of them. The squash, chicken, eggplant, fish, and pork were all amazing. The butterscotch pudding was unbelievably good. A wonderful place. I will definitely be back the next time I come to town.
Superbe service, personnel chaleureux. Excellente nourriture. Très bon choix de vins
Great service, killer food, great experience overall. Went with an all veg meal and was not disappointed.
FnB will always be my absolute favorite. It never fails to deliver the best hospitality, fresh and local ingredients, and outstanding tastes you’ve probably haven’t experienced at other restaurants. Very artistic and welcoming.
The best of the best. Chef Badman gets me to eat vegetables that my mom never could.
Amazing as always. The ingredients are fresh and simple, yet the flavors are complex and satisfying. And the Chef always does such amazing things with radishes! Continues to be our favorite place in the Valley.
