Father's Day a la Carte Brunch

The food was fantastic and I would go back just for the steak. Unfortunately the service was very poor. We waited almost 10 minutes for our drinks, the food was never clearly explained (charcuterie board) when brought to table. Finished plates were not cleaned up till well after we finished. Our server gave off the impression that she had better things to do and felt very short with us. If the food and ambience was not as amazing as it was we would not return on the service alone.
Everything from the food to the service was excellent. Yes it is a little pricey but you certainly get what you pay for. I would recommend to anyone to take the time to enjoy a meal at the Flour Mill restaurant. You won’t be disappointed 😊
Mother’s Day brunch. Food was good however pancakes were very dense and heavy.
The mimosas on the brunch menu appeared to be included on the brunch menu cost but when we got the bill they charged us. Not a problem but it looked like it was included but never said it was an extra.
The ambiance was absolutely amazing. However, the service was terrible and the food was cold. $114 for breakfast was definitely not worth cold lobster and eggs.
The service and ambiance were excellent, but our food arrived just warm. It was Mother’s day so it was busy, but we would have enjoyed our wonderful meal more if we had been given it hot!
From the moment we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted with warm and friendly staff. Our server, Judith, was exceptionally helpful and kind. Our appetizer and bread with oil was fantastic. The entrees were five star. I cannot say enough about our experience. We will certainly recommend and return. The Flour Mill Restaurant is our new favorite place to eat in Niagara Falls!
An excellent place for breakfast. Our server was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was comfortable and unique.
This was our second visit, I arranged my trip around the ability to have breakfast here! Would this breakfast be as good as I remembered, yes!! We started with the tray that included scones, croissants, clotted cream and jam; all made on site. I traveled five hours for these scones, which are also used in the Eggs Benedict. Then I had the best eggs Benedict i’ve ever had and my son had the champagne pancakes. Delicious! Oh my goodness, amazing! Our waitress, Judy, remembered us from our first visit and we had fantastic service and some pleasant conversation. Even the chef came by to chat with us.
My recommendation cannot do the restaurant, inside an old Flour Mill, justice with words; you must try it for yourself!! (As a bonus, you can visit the falls!)
Best quiet and delicious dinner we’ve had in a long time and we even had our kids in tow! They were very accommodating for the kids - I’d go back again in a heartbeat!
We had the Bacon Tree as well. No picture.
The food was terrible and outrageously overpriced.
The only complaint I have was, this time they did not have gluten free bread. Usually the Chef gets a loaf locally. Everything else is made there. We love this place so much, we made dinner reservations 1st, then we booked our hotel.
Atmosphere was rustic and quaint, very nice. But food was just okay. Coffee mug was dirty, but was quickly replaced as soon as it was pointed out. Pricing was relatively high for the quality of food. But Niagara Falls is a tourist locale- so not surprised by pricing.
Absolutely delicious made from scratch food and great service.
Wonderful place. Excellent service and environment. The decoration of this restaurant is amazing.
One of our favourite restaurants on Niagara Falls. Set in an old factory with stone walls and a seasonal fireplace, it is a nice change from the lights and noise of Clifton Hill. The food and service never disappoints. Greta mussels and steaks.
Breakfast was so good the first day we came back the next morning and we weren’t even staying at the hotel in which the restaurant is in! Coffee was amazing and so was the fluffy cloud entree. We all loved it and it was definitely a highlight of our trip! Please go!!
Everything was excellent on our visit to The Flour Mill. It was the first time for my daughter and son-in-law and they loved the ambience!
Excellent service and food. Don’t be put off by the exterior
We went there on a Saturday night. Our waitress was great, very cheery and professional at the same time, forgot the name, she was Lady with a short haircut, grey hair. The food was great like always, we had groupon and could not eat the desert, because of allergies so the chef gave us something else, it was very much appreciated.
Quiet friendly place, excellent food, love the ambiance, we had the salmon and the muscles, so good!
The Flour Mill Restaurant has the BEST breakfast I've ever had. It was so great, I cancelled my next breakfast reservation the following day to come back. If we had this menu offered in Toronto, there would be lineups past the door everyday. Everything is made from scratch. We had: 1.) the fluffy clouds which were meringues, jam preserves and french brioche. It was amazing. 2.) Eggs Benedict: Hollandaise is the best I've ever tasted. Not too heavy, and perfect viscosity. 3.) French Toast: homemade brioche and brulee sugar top (amazing) 4.) Breakfast skillet: seasoned crumbled bacon, poached eggs and homestyle potatoes. The noise level in the restaurant echos abit but I can overlook that bc the service staff were attentive and personable. If you want a quick breakfast, go to Denny's or IHOP. If you want a good quality brunch, go to Flour Mill.
There was a waitress there... can’t remember her name but she was great!!! Food was fantastic and perfect!!! Will come again
We all enjoyed our food. While the quality was good, the Eggs Benedict meals were cold, with no compensation. Also would like to see quality Decaf coffee--very disapointing. We too have the French press at home and purchase Fair Trade/Organic coffee.
Our server was quite nice and efficient.
A memorable dining experience! In our top 10 for sure!! Excellent food, service and ambiance.
A lovely/charming hotel as well as restaurant - will definitely stay there on our next trip to Niagara Falls!!
The food was outstanding and the cozy quiet atmosphere was perfect!
Great service, amazing food! We were there for brunch - we had the avocado toast, bacon tree, and eggs benedict, all of them were next-level good!
This restaurant is cozy with excellent food and excellent service. I'll definitely be back any time I'm visiting Niagara Falls and will recommend it to others!
We booked based on the reviews and were sadly disappointed.
Ambiance was wonderful and festive. Sadly the service and the food did not match the surroundings.
We were seated at 7:15 and by 8:45 we still did not have our dinner. The appetizer soup was delicious. We waited a good 30 min for our second course and one was missing. We dared not to let the server place the order in for fear it would be yet another 30 min.
Both second courses were bland and poorly presented.
The Turkey was a huge disappointment we have had better festive specials at Swiss Chalet.
We stayed at the hotel for the night and the environment was clean and festive and the staff were friendly.
This was our second Christmas dinner at restaurant at the Old Stone Inn. Our first experience, 2 years ago, was excellent which is why we decided to return again this year. Unfortunately, this time our dinning experience was disappointing. With regards to food, several in our group ordered the pork, which was overdone and very tough. The butternut squash ravioli (one large ravioli) was served naked on a bed of fennel and broth. It was lacking flavour. The soup, however, was excellent as were all of the desserts that we ate. As for service, I appreciated that staff were working on Christmas so I didn't have to; however, for the cost of the meal ($49 per person) I was expecting a higher level of service. The waitress was super friendly and nice; however, we had to ask for items (e.g., for water, for sharp knives to cut the pork, for more drinks) - our needs were never anticipated. When I first made reservation, I asked about vegetarian options and I was told that there would be an option. Although, no option was on the set menu, the waitress said that the chef would prepare a meal size portion of the butternut squash ravioli, which was listed as an appetizer. Unfortunately, the two vegetarians were given only the appetizer portion (1 ravioli), and it was brought to us early - not with the other main courses. When I questioned the waitress, she had the chef prepare second serving of ravioli. This second plate was larger but it still lacked flavour. Lastly, there were several mistakes on our bill that needed to be corrected. We were over charged for drinks and we were charged for both plates of ravioli although we were told we would only be charged for one.
The service and the food is second to none at the Flour Mill. We returned here for my birthday this past weekend. Everything was exceptional! We also dined for breakfast the next morning. Again, fantastic food and service. Cannot wait to go back!
We stopped here for lunch upon arriving in Niagara and loved every bit of our experience! The food was excellent, service was outstanding and the decor was jaw dropping. It is everything I look for in a perfect restaurant and then some. We can’t wait to return!!!
It was the most amazing food and great service. We had such a relaxing time!
Didn’t disappoint, second visit here and the quality of the food and service are incredibly high. This is certainly a hidden gem and is worth the walk over from the main strip even if your not staying at the hotel.
Very friendly service. Told them it was a special occasion birthday I would have expected a piece of cake or something. Good menu, good choices. Pork chop a little tough. Pork bellies not as I know them, this seemed very raw. Asked for a cappuccino but the waitress wasn't sure what that was or if they had them. She brought me a very weak coffee with some foam on top.
Went for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. It’s located in a hotel, so I was worried it would just be an average breakfast. It was anything but that. I had eggs Benedict with avocado rather than Canadian bacon, and it was delicious. It was on a homemade biscuit, not just a regular english muffin. My husbands breakfast was fruit, cheese, scone, and hard boiled egg, and was also very good. I would definitely go back here for breakfast!
A little pricey but delicious! The location was not in a very nice part of town, but once you stepped inside it was very nice.
The restaurant was beautiful but the service was quite slow. Over all a good experience but don't expect to be quickly in and out of here. Food was tasty!
We celebrated our anniversary at the Old Stone Inn this past Thanksgiving weekend; the special menu was absolutely delish! Such unique options, so appealing to the palate! Great ambiance...very romantic! Superior service too.
