Flight Restaurant & Wine Bar - Memphis Ratings and Reviews
We made a reservation for our anniversary. We arrived early and were seated as soon as a table was ready, about 10 minutes before our reservation. We were brought a complimentary drink for our anniversary. The service and good were excellent! We sat downstairs and on a Friday night it was a little noisy, next time I would prefer upstairs.
This was by far the best meal I have had in quite some time. The "flight" experience was unique and allowed for a variation of tastes. Proportions were generous and I walked away satisfied. As far as the service, second to none!!! All were very knowledgeable from drinks through dessert. My only negative was the poor valley staff was forced to standing in the cold with no heater allowed... Shame on you, not a great way to take care of your employees.
Delicious cuisine with a high level of customer service. I have been here several times over the last few years. During the winter months, the restaurant is too cold for comfort. Almost need to keep your coat or scarf on- avoid window booths as they are drafty.
Flight had the best food we have had in some time. The meal concept of different matched small plates is unique but worked extremely well. The service was as outstanding as the food. The free valet parking made access easy and quick. We would eat there again when in Memphis.
This restaurant is amazing. The service, the wine selections, the food options, the ambiance... everything is unique and amazing. They offer true southern hospitality and the tasting concept makes for a one of a kind incredible meal. Can’t wait to go back again!
We were seated on-time, in the location we asked for. The waiter was attentive without being overbearing. We were never rushed, the food was excellent, plate sizes were great. We are not super size eaters, so the small plate selection is great, we each had 2. One of our favorite restaurants in Memphis.
I gifted my mom with dinner and a tickets to Phantom of the Opera. This is our first annual tradition of giving the gift of experiences. This night hit all of the senses and is going to be so hard to top. We started out with appetizers if Bone Marrow and the Chef's Appetizer of a Spicy Crab Cheese Bake. For dinner I did the Chef's Flight and my mom did the Steak Flight. The Kobe Short Ribs literally melted in my mouth. I love flavors and it was so much fun to have a restaurant pair everything perfectly. I have had the pleasure of dining in several high end restaurants and Flight is definitely on the top of the list. You can dress up or dress down and the faker parking is very convenient.
Flight has always been one of our favorite dining experiences in Memphis. After five years we visited the city again and found that the same lovely environment, high quality service and good food has remained consistent at Flight.
The food while good is not transformative. The concept remains somewhat elegant but predictable.
My wife and I had an AMAZING meal this past Monday! We had been 7 years ago to celebrate an anniversary so when we passed through Memphis again we had to revisit. Or service from Sydney was impeccable! She was fun and attentive and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu both food and wine. We ended up with the same table upstairs we had years ago and it was just as romantic. Cannot wait til we pass through Memphis again to revisit this gem of a restaurant. Truly a wonderful night!
We had an awesome evening. We were celebrating our third wedding anniversary! My husband proposed to me in that very restaurant, everyone was so attentive and they remembered it was I 3 year anniversary! The staff, manager, and waiter was just awesome!?? oh yes it's definitely a annual date for us thank you!!!

Flight never disappoints! The cuisine is creative and well-executed and the service is impeccable. We took some family members from out-of-town on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and they were all impressed - several asked "how can we get Flight to open a restaurant like this in our town?"
Really disappointed in the service. Have eaten here many times and never had such an inattentive waitstaff. Plenty standing around too! Don't like the atmosphere of the "wine cellar"-basically a big basement with little character. Made the evening less than was hoping for...
My wife and I celebrated our first anniversary here and were treated like royalty from the time the valet opened the doors for us at the car until they closed them when we left. We were greeted with champagne and strawberries at the table because we let them know in the reservation that we were celebrating. We ordered flights of wine and a local craft beer, apps included mini beef Wellington, and the lobster bisque, mains were the butcher flight and the steak flight, 6 separate and equally delicious dishes, followed by a custom flight of desserts that we couldn’t finish so we took them with us! Great service, food, and a wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary! Thanks flight hope to see you again soon.
My husband and I enjoyed a very nice dinner celebrating his birthday. We have been to Flight before and have eaten in the dining room and the upstairs area, but this time we dined in the wine cellar. Very cool! Everything was delicious, but a few of the standouts were the Deviled egg/Fried oysters app, the Seafood Gumbo, the Chicken & Waffles, and the Boursin stuffed filet. We love trying the wine flights. I had the “Nothing to Prove” Chardonnay flight, and my husband really enjoyed the Caymus Cabernet flight. He was also treated with a complimentary birthday Creme Brûlée that was fantastic. Great service, as well! We will definitely be back!
