One of our favorite places - casual, fun and delicious food! Must have oysters (if you enjoy) in addition to the mussels!!
This place is great. You don't 'need' fries ... but does anyone? Don't forget to save room for donuts!
Always have a fantastic meal at Flex.
Innovative and delicious food.
enjoyed our dinner which included mussels and lobster roll.
Mussels are great. Fries are ok. Drinks are expensive. Front desk seating very confused and not friendly. Table very close together.
The classic mussels had no taste - bland, not flavorful. My salad came drowned in dressing, but they readily exchanged it with dressing on the side. By far the worst part was the bus boy! He needs a lesson in etiquette. Sweet young man, but he piled all the dirty flatware on my friend’s plate so he could stack all the dishes. I was in disbelief. Waitress was lovely and efficient.
Always delicious. Favorite is the Boston style lobster roll. My husband loves the fra diavolo mussels!!
The greatest mussels! Also have fabulous oysters & fried calamari. And the dessert donuts are amazing. Absolutely love this place!
Delicious food. Out of town clients really enjoyed it. Lively atmosphere which got noisier as the later dinner hours arrived. Would recommend as a great option on the UES.
Overpriced for the amount of mussels you get in a pot
Always my favorite. Great staff, food is always phenomenal. Highly recommended.
Great food and service. Generous pours of cocktails. Tables are crowded. It is a relatively small space but well worth it.
Flex Mussels is my favorite restaurant! I come here a few times a year, it is a great energy no matter what time. We ate at 9pm and it was still loud and busy!
It was cool, just chill with the reviews bra
Amazing as always!! No matter what it is, get the numero 23!!!! Caesar at the bar is a MASTER.
The lobster roll was terrible, poor quality lobster and way too much mayo. It was sopping wet and made the bread very soggy when lobster rolls are supposed to be buttery and flakey. The fish and chips entree were not good and overly fried with little fish but lots of breading. Bread did not come till entrees were on the table and we asked for a basket before we ordered appys.
Everything was spectacular as always. The noise level rose as the night went on. Better to come at 6 to avoid the noise.
Love the Thai mussels. Pricey.
We love this place ! Jack always makes the visit extra special
Food was amazing , my wife had taken me there for Father’s Day 2 yrs ago. I loved it, the only issue I had was with the waiter. I asked for this Bourbon drink, instead I got tequila. Other than that my wife ,son and I had a amazing time.
This was our second time there. There looks for the outside are deceiving. From the small store front, simple awning, and windows it had an appearance of a small bar like space. Once you every and get past the bar it open up into a wonderful and bustling space. This visit was Valentine's Day. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Service was impeccable even on this busy holiday
We started with oysters from back home, Washington, I had the first and chips, he had one of the fresh sheet fish options, and ended with donuts (a must have).
There fish and chips are great! Light batter, not greasy, I will really need to try something else sometime but this is my go to place for fish and chips.. He loves his fish and kale dish. He remarked many times how good and healthy his was. He usually isn't fast to compliment. The price difference between 4 and 6 donuts was marginal so we ordered 6. Next time we'll stick to to. Donuts are fresh, soft, an be filled with a wider variety of options. Vanilla sauce on the side makes for perfection!
Fish and chips
Fresh fish special
Excellent as always. Exceptional service and the food was awesome. One of our favourite places!
Great mussels great staff and great donuts. The wait staff is professional and the food is excellent.
My husband, son and I were out to dinner. This place is always hopping. The burnt fingers appetizer was delicious. For dinner I got the Mexican, which is served in an oval cast iron pan plentiful and spicy, just the way I like it. My husband ordered Fra devilo, my son the #23, both served in their own pots. We exchanged entrees so we could experience all the delicious varieties . My only concern was the waiters were hustling about they kept bumping into anyone in the isle seat. A few times they actually knocked Food onto the floor or our laps. Most annoying
