Fleur by Hubert Keller - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Although I have walked past Fleur de Lys many times, this was my first visit. How I regret not dining here before. We had the Chef's tasting menu with wine pairing. It was simply devine, every mouthful was a work of art. Our meal was served by various staff members; the best were outstanding but not all were of a similar standard. That is the only reason I could not give 5 stars across the board. I look forward to my next trip to Las Vegas, one of the first things I will do is book a table at Fleur de Lys.
What a great experience we had for our first time in this restaurant. We came into Vegas late and had a 10pm reservation. We ended up being the last couple in the restaurant, but they never hurried us out. They let us relax and take our time after a long day of travel. The food was fabulous, the service was wonderful and the entire staff was so kind. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an impeccable experience.
This is one of the best restuarants we have eaten at in our nearly 30 years of visiting Vegas. The service was great, the food delicious and the ambiance relaxing. The tasting menu was wonderful. And when there was a little order mistake the lead to an extra wait for a souffle, we had two extra complimentary desserts brought to us while we waited. The steaks we had were among the best we ever had due to their special cooking process. We even got a tour of the kitchen after dinner.
One of the best dining experiences I have had in a long time. Our waiter was extremely pleasant. My girlfriend and I also enjoyed how the servers were educated on the dishes and would explain them to us upon bringing them to our table. It was that little something extra. Chef Keller was also there for our dining experience and gave us a sample of a dish and a plate of petite fours to cap off our meal. Both were delightful. The food (we both ordered the tasting menu at $90/pp) was incredible. Chef Keller is a culinary genius. The truffled onion soup was perfect, the chorizo wrapped sea bass was such a great blend of flavors and the Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection. This restaurant is a must if you are visiting Las Vegas.
The first feature we encountered at the restaurant was the service. The entire staff was very friendly, professional and knowledgable. Our servers anticipated our needs beautifully. The decor is rich and tranquil, giving me the feeling we were in a special place. And the food, oh the food. From the amuse bouche to the desserts and petit fours, everything was delicious. I especially enjoyed the sea bass wrapped in chorizo, and my wife could not get enough of the mashed potatoes served alongside her filet mignon. The chocolate souffle was decadent and addicting. Everything about the evening was perfect. We can't wait to dine at Fleur de Lys again to try more of Chef Keller's excellent food.
Words cannot express how much we enjoyed our dinner at Fluer de Lys - Las Vegas. First of all the staff is outstanding. The restaurant is not large in stature, rather saves the food to be the focal point. We enjoyed the Prix Fixe meal and made sure to select different items so we could share each course. Then to top off the even by meeting Hubert Keller! We absolutely would return.
Great food. The wait staff were exceptional. I had less than an hour to eat and the staff were very helpful in assisting me in choosing the meal that I could enjoy in that limited time frame. I was impressed to know that the owner/chef cooked at the restaurant evey other week (but not the day that I was there). Once you eat here, other restaurants pale in comparison.
This was truly a culinary experience. The service was outstanding with everyone including the manager explaining the dishes served and we were never rushed quite the contrary. The food was exquistley plated and tasted great. Items i didnt think i would like were very good. The ambiance was great and you felt pampered. The drinks were quite good. This is what i would expect for the price, it is definately not inexpensive but it was well worth the cost.
My wife and I went to Fleur de Lys for our 8th wedding anniversary. We did the tasting menu with wine pairing. We did not know what to expect food-wise as it was a surprise. We have never had a more pleasant dining experience. Our waiter was a former chef and really took care of us. The asst. manager was phenomenal and the manager brought out two small creme brulee's with "Happy Anniversary" very neatly written in chocolate. We also received a tour of the kitchen. Absolutely cool, light music (did Hubert Keller write the music? He's a DJ on the side you know!) and wonderful food made for an incredibly delightful, delectable, decadent evening. BRAVO! 5 stars!
I was so looking forward to this visit and restaurant with such high reviews on open table. I am a vegetarian and they offered a tasting menu and the others in the party were not they got the chef signature tasting. I saw vegetarian cost less and thought ok no protein but they failed to tell our party that for several courses that I would get nothing. I have been to other high end restaurants that do a very nice vegetarian tasting and I do not have to skip courses. This was a big let down even WD-50 in New York does a better job with a vegetarian tasting. The courses I did get were good and the risotto was one of the best I have ever had.
Exceptional!!! My wife and I enjoyed Chef Keller's Elegance Tasting Menus with wine pairings. Everything was superb. Service was impeccable and we were fortunate to have two servers attend to us throughout the evening sharing their extension knowledge and passion about food and wine for each selection. We've had some memorable dining experiences over the years but Fleur de Lys will definitely rank in the Top 5 in terms of food quality, innovation, service and quality of the wine pairings. Although we hail from Beef Country, Chef Keller's Filet Mignon was among the best tasting beef dish I've ever had.
Can't wait to go back and also to try out their location in San Francisco as well as Chef Keller's more informal Burger Bar.
Although still an excellent meal, Fleur de Lys seems to have slipped a bit since I last visited about a year ago. The service had been outstanding, and it appears that many of those servers have now been replaced with very young and inexperienced staff. They made numerous mistakes in bringing the wrong dishes to the wrong customers during the evening I dined there and were unable to answer any questions about the food other than to restate what was written on the menu. Even the food seems to be a little more ordinary, and for the price you pay, you should get better than ordinary!
food was wonderfully prepared and presented but we all (4 of us) felt that for the high prices the portion size was lacking. one diner ordered the 3 course menu with the filet and received two very small slices???? enjoyed this for a one time experience only. would not return.
We ordered the Elegant menu ($89 each) the French Onion soup was outstanding, Tuna tartar, not so much. 2nd course, ordered raviloi and salad, neither were memorable much. 3rd course short ribs was outstanding, filet migeon not so much. 4th, chocolate cake and souffle was okay not the best. I believe the souffle was not cooked correctly as it did deflate a little bit..The restaurant was not busy when it first open, but it did fill up towards the end. Cocktails was okay not the best, and they did play some weird music that didn't seem fitting but very good otherwise.
Overall it was a very pleasant meal, the service was very good and the atmosphere was relaxing. I had the vegetarian tasting menu and there were a few minor problems with the food that you wouldn't expect in a restaurant like this. The bread was stale and felt like it just came out of the refrigerator, and the main course was a risotto which was only lukewarm when it was served. I probably wouldn't go back, but I don't regret dining here.
Everything about this dining experience was first-class. The service was responsive, food was amazing and I would highly recommend Fleur de Lys to anyone wanting a great fine dining experience. My wife and I both had the elegance menu which did not disappoint. This is by no means an inexpensive meal but absolutely worth it.
This was one of the most enjoyable dining experiences my partner and I have had. We have been fortunate to dine in many fine establishments, but this experience certainly rises to the top. The foie gras trio appetizer was one of the best preparations of foie gras that we have had. The truffle onion soup was also delicious. I had the venison for my main course which was incredibly tender. My partner had the seabass and chorizo which he thoroughly enjoyed. The service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. We would definitely return should we find ourselves in Las Vegas again.
