Steak was expensive. Quality and flavor not commiserate with price. Sides were good.
Food was great. We had a nice Father's Day meal. The servers were very attentive and made the meal special.
We went there for Father's Day. The only problem we had was the 55 min. wait for our food. We finally asked a bus boy to find our waiter so we can find out why our food was taking so long. The waiter did not show up but the manager did. The manager was very nice and apologized. She said the tomahawk steak ordered by my son was overcooked and that another one had to be prepared. She comp our entire bill which she did not need to do. It was very kind of her to do this. I would come back here again because of her professional courtesy and because we do like Fleming's Steakhouse. It was an unfortunate situation with the wait but I guess it occurs at any fine restaurants. Fleming's has an outstanding manager in their Woodland Hills, CA restaurant.
Our server was a bit rude.. he seems in like he was in a hurry and wasn’t very polite to my husband who has an Italian accent. Hopefully our next visit will be more favorable. Loved Happy Jour at the bar!
We sat at a back corner table in the side room which was quiet and we felt not part of the crowded restaurant!
Food and service was excellent
The waitress was very nice. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and the Choclate lava cake also
The removal of the bread crumbs on a regular basis was a bit much. Fleming’s should have the gentleman that were busboys to be the servers.
Seated promptly with reservation
Food & service was good
Only complaint was valet parking only though
Wonderful food and exceptional service. Even great menu for non-steak lovers--large menu of delicious sides and drinks, too.
Nice for romantic dinner and conversation.
Somewhat pricey but very worth it.
Cozy and classy at the same time.
A good place for special occasions.
Birthday celebration. The food and service was very good. It was unnecessarily expensive. Six people, no alcohol, over $600.00. Too much for us to ever go back, or the friends we were with. The place was half empty as well. Not surprising!
Waiter was often missing or unavailable.
Food that fell off plate left on table cloth for the whole meal.
Everything was great, steak (filet) was done perfect and our server EMILY was outstanding. She had four tables going and she was on top of everything.
Slow to take our drink order. Caesar Salad was the very best I have ever had. Drink was great - generally good but should be at that price.
Went to celebrate two birthdays and was not disappointed. Meat selections were fantastic and cooked to perfection — it’s not often we find a chef that understands what real “rare” means, but Fleming’s delivers. My steak was cool and red inside with a perfect crust outside. Side dishes were hot and tasty, and the cocktail menu was creative. Try the blueberry lemon drop! After dinner there was no singing (that’s just embarrassing) but instead our attentive-but-not-annoying waiter brought a warm chocolate cake with clotted cream and berries. A wonderful meal.
Got an email about a steak and lobster special so we thought we’d try it. We were very glad we did. Our previous experience was at the Beverly Hills location and twice it was miserable... turns out we weren’t the only ones that thought that as that place closed. This was in the San Fernando valley and a completely, totally different, ambience, food, service and all! The lobster tail was cooked perfectly and so was the filet mignon. We both had the Cesar salad and asked for anchovies and got a bunch. The bread was flavored with Parmesan cheese and the spreads they provide with it are delicious! Back to the entre and the special, it includes the salad, entre and dessert too, but no veggie so we ordered a side of steamed spinach for $11.50. The dessert choices were anything at all on the dessert menu such as cheese cake, molten chocolate cake, fresh berries and more. Important though this special isn’t on the menu so you have to ask the server about it. Maybe you sign up (free) to be a “member”, they are part of s group but I’m not familiar with the other restaurants. Bottom line, it was an outstanding meal-
Even the specialty drinks are good and reasonably priced. I saw 2 people carrying wine bottles so they might have a corkage fee, but you should call to make sure of their rules.
Bottom line - try it, you’ll like it. Oh... I didn’t notice any street parking but they do have valet.
We had a great dinner there over the weekend. They honored our resevation. Food was served as ordered and our waiter was very nice.
Fantastic experience and our server Joshua was attentive and personable ... Fleming’s is one of the dependably memorable dining experiences!
Went there for my moms bday
The service and the food was perfect
Such a great night, with phenomenal experience!
Reanna Roxbury, our server for the last few visits, is outstanding. Professional, always remembers us. Can't do enough to make the occasion special. We return here often and recommend it to friends.
So disappointed that the Sunday Prime Rib special was no longer available. No prime rib on the menu at all! That is why we brought friends with us!
I asked for a choclate martini and our server has to ask because it was not on the Menu ??
All other drinks at our table were served, The server had to "grab" ingerdants (his words ,not mine) by the time the martini arrived I had to Drink alone.
As always food and service was excellent. Would definitely recommend.
Our first return to the Woodland Hills Flemming after a three-year hiatus turned out to be a good decision. It started with exceptional greeting by our server Ryan who took charge in a professional manner and made our entire group of eight very much comfortable and welcomed. He offered to decanter the red wine without any request on my part. That was a sign to I had a profesional who would orchestrate our dining experience correctly. The dinners for everyone in the party was served promptly and as requested. Fleming's you rose to the occasion and demonstrated to me that you've made some internal changes to the benefit of your patrons and corrected and refreshed your business model.
Service was impeccable and staff was delightful
Great food, great service, tonight was a 5 star meal
David was our waiter, he was great. The food was excellent and the overall service is always outstanding. Joining the Dining Club is a good way to increase the value.
Top notch steakhouse, the food and atmosphere were perfect for an anniversary dinner. Our server was David and he was awesome. It was the little things that make the biggest difference.
On a very special night, Mother’s Day, the experience could not have been better. Table ready without any added wait. Staff very attentive to us. Food was exceptional Be back in a heartbeat. Thanks for everything.
Very disappointing. They were completely unprepared for Mothers Day. Our entrees took over an hour and were lukewarm and tasted like they were sitting under heat lamps for a while. We were never asked how our food was, sorry for the wait, nothing. There was a large party next to us that our waiter was way more concerned with. $225 for 5 people. Not worth it. Lesson learned.
I go to 3 times a month and today was the first time I got the tomahawk and it was 30% fat and cooked bad twice. I will always say it happens once. But I will try again. Next week to see if it changes.
Everything was great...from the hostess to our waitress to the food. My wife and I were celebrating our 15th anniversary and we honestly couldn't have had a better experience. Everyone was really sweet and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of throughout the evening. Of course, the filet's were great, but we also had some amazing french onion soup (which they split for us in the kitchen...nobody does that), loved the Fleming's potatoes and the turtle pie was incredible. Highly recommend!
Service was excellent. Food was okay.. except for the fish that was over cooked and dry.
This is our neighborhood restaurant, my husband and I had a date. It was wonderful, tasteful and the service was good. We love coming here.
Parking easy. Valet very polite. Service excellent. Food outstanding. Steak great. Cocktails excellent. Dessert fantastic.
Great HH, great food, great service and knowledgeable server! What a great night with friends and a server who knew both liquor and wine.
Fabulous food but so expensive that this can only be for very special occasions and not every year. Too bad.
Unfortunately, this one my least favorite experiences at a Fleming's. It was a disappointment that there was not a single special on the menu. We overheard at least two other tables inquiring about the Prime Rib Special, and being given the same line, "But we have the chef's menu on the left." The chef's menu has nothing to do with a special, just additional menu items. The rib eye I ordered was not nearly up to par with what I have come to expect from Fleming's. It was terribly fatty, and just slightly saltier than an Outback sirloin, with a similar flavor. The salads seem to have shrunken, as well. Overall, a dismal evening. It worked to get at least three parties into the restaurant who neglected to check on current specials, but can assure you, I won't be back anytime soon, and I wonder about the others.
