Fleming's Steakhouse - Woodland Hills Ratings and Reviews
My husband and parents had the crab legs, but make sure you ask what the market price is otherwise you will be let down by the amount of crab you get for the price. I had filet mignon and it was very yummy so I would recommend it. The only downside of the whole experience was the price of the crab and having to order sides separate. I had totally forgotten about the sides being separate.
Went on a Saturday evening and it was extremely busy. Seemed like they were understaffed which is bad news on a busy weekend. Quick summary: Had to wait a while for someone to come take drink orders, drinks were slow in arriving and did not meet expectations. Service was polite but infrequent. Food came out reasonably quickly but some food was a little cold, as if some dishes got fired too quick... No one came to check on the food in a timely manner. When someone did come by to check, it was too late to send anything back. Was just here 3 weeks ago and the food was great! This time, didn't even finish the steak! For premium prices, the food and service should be outstanding... Last visit, they nailed it! This time, we left feeling like they came up well short of expectations.
We like Fleming's but for the money, there are better steak house with better service -- and better prices. Plan on spending $100 per person (one drink per person). Best advice: Go to Costco before your dinner and buy the discount cards for $75 (worth $100 at dinner).
Fleming’s never disappoints. It’s a bit pricey but worth it. Great service as always. More importantly they’re not pretentious or difficult. If you want your bone-in filet thrown back on the grill after eating it down to the rarest part near the bone, it’s no big deal. I’ve walked out of some steakhouses hoping an asteroid shower would rain down on Los Angeles but I’ve never had that feeling leaving Fleming’s. So, well done. No pun intended.
For a great night out with friends, you can't go wrong with Flemmings. Get there early and enjoy the happy hour cocktails at half price. They work really hard to make your evening great. Service is wonderful and the food is top notch. It's a top notch local steak house. It's not inexpensive, but for a birthday or special occasion for a casual night out, you can't beat it.
