Fleming's Steakhouse - Winter Park Ratings and Reviews
Ambience and greeting was very nice, waitress attentiveness was exceptional, wine selection is very good, a lot of options. Good came out hit with nice presentation and very tasty. Sitting in the back of the restaurant is a little less noisy, a busy Friday evening and everyone was courteous and kind.
Always have incredible steaks, love the Fleming's potatoes. My wife and I dine there for special occasions often, and they always go over the top with service and atmosphere. We let them know ahead of time it was our anniversary, and the several of the staff stopped by with short visits to thank us and congratulate us. One of my favorite restaurants of all time!
This time the steak left much to desire. My piece of filet had some fat on it which is not typical of filet. It was also overcooked. Everything else was good, drinks, onion rings, Creme brûlée. Usually Fleming’s doesn’t disappoint, but this time the steak missed the mark. I will return because it’s one of my favorites
My wife and I are frequent diners at Flemings and consider it to be the best overall pick for an "upscale steakhouse". However, this visit was on Thanksgiving day due to kitchen remodeling taking place at our home and we were very disappointed with the turkey dinner special. Our son joined us and ordered a steak from the regular menu that was excellent as always. Unfortunately the turkey on the special was dry and with little taste. The stuffing was almost inedible. The Flemings salad and the sides that came with the turkey special seemed off from the usual offerings as well. At least the carrot cake was very good as always. We will continue to be a regular diner at Flemings but will stick to the main menu in the future.
It's always a wonderful dining experience at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar in Winter Park. Beckie Gaines the Operating Partner came over and made sure we were having a great meal and told us about their upcoming Thanksgiving Dinner service. Jarrett our waiter was wonderful!
Fleming's is one of my favorite "go to" restaurants, and I dine with them often. Usually they do everything right, but this time I was disappointed.
Usually the noise level is tolerable and it is easy to carry on a conversation. During this visit the noise level was very high, only made worse by noise, not music, coming from the audio system.
The waiter must have been new. when he removed the extra place settings from the table he removed the wrong pieces. Service was just not up to the level usually delivered. No big deal, but not what is expected at Flemming's
Entree was good, but the loaded baked potato was almost cold. Barely melted the butter, and definitely couldn't melt cheese.
I did not like the fact that they did not cook my food to the temp that I requested. Then did not have the decency to offer an apology for their screw up. It was treated as if I told them to bring me a raw pork chop, then changed my mind. Fix your mistakes but most importantly, apologize, especially when it spoils someone's dining experience.
For a birthday celebration, Flemings was a phenomenal restaurant experience. The ambiance was very nice, and our waiter, Jason, was amazing. Their steak was cooked perfectly, the french onion soup was the best we've ever had. The lobster tempura was somewhat under cooked. The manager offered to replace it with another or something else on the menu, or take it off the bill. Their aim was to please. Overall, the dining experience was amazing, and I would highly recommend Flemings as a special place to celebrate.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our waiter wasn’t the best but the manager made up for it. Salads were thoroughly enjoyable with fresh, crisp veggies and evenly dressed. Mac and cheese was elevated and delish with just a lil kick of spice. Steak is fantastic steak.
