Welcome to Your Winter Park Fleming’s.
Didn’t like they tried to seat in banquet room in back.
We celebrated our Anniversary here, the food was amazing and so was the ambiance. The service was great and management came to our table to wish us a Happy Anniversary and to give us a token of appreciation for chosing Flemings. We shall visit again soon.
Brought my wife here for our anniversary with our two children we had a great time the restaurant even set up the table with a rose and a card for her anniversary the manager on duty was extremely nice would definitely recommend everyone to come here food was excellent
They’ve done a renovation and the restaurant looks nice.
However, our bill was over $200 for the two of us and we didn’t have dessert.
I had the swordfish for $47 that came with NO sides and it was $47, it tasted ‘fishy’ and had several ‘brown/gray’ areas, should’ve been pure white and NOT fishy tasting. Was very disappointing.
Our sever was the type that pours your drinks, puts food on your plate (we had an appetizer and she picked up ,my plate raked some of it onto my plate. I asked her not to do that. She kept pouring my wine from the carafe into my glass, which i asked her not to do as well, she tried it again even after i said I would pour it myself. She was overbearing at a minimum.
My boyfriend asked me, do we have to come back here again? I said no. I DO enjoy the bar at Happy Hour as food is reasonable and they have some longer term servers/bartenders that my girlfriend and i enjoy. I will go back there for that, but not the regular restaurant.
At those prices we could go just about anywhere........
I have always been a fan of Fleming’s, but my last few visits have been just okay. The service is always excellent, but the food just has not lived up to expectation — and price. My ribeye was properly cooked, but under seasoned and somewhat bland. My wife’s filet was much the same, although my daughter’s chicken was delicious. The sides were also quite good, but overall we were underwhelmed given the over $250 price tag for the meal.
Unfortunately, this visit was representative of the last three or four and likely represents our last, given the number of alternative choices in the area.
Based on many experiences at this restaurant, this was an off night, and I am hoping this review will be taken constructively by the management to improve the product.
Our party of four dined at Fleming's on a quiet Tuesday night. Plenty of empty tables were seen in the main dining room. A banquet was taking place in the private room, which might have been the cause of the excruciatingly slow service we received. Furthermore, I expect a server to be available when needed and disappear when not needed, but the opposite is what we got.
Long gaps between soup/salad and main course didn't make me or my guests very happy. When the manager came around for a cursory visit, she could easily see that there was no food on the table, but she seemed surprised that I mentioned the slowness of the service. She later comped a couple of desserts for our trouble, but did not visit the table again.
When the entrees ultimately arrived, I was appalled that the waiter stacked my wife's plate on top of my entree while carrying them to the table (I confirmed this by lifting her plate after it was placed and noting the sauce from the bottom of the plate on the tablecloth). This just doesn't happen, especially if they're operating under the pretense of being an upscale eatery.
As I said, this must have been an off night, because I've had way more attention to detail and much better service here in the past, although I have to say that there has been some fall-off over the past five years or so. I'll be back, but I'll be wary.
We went for a birthday and they had a card and confetti on the table when we arrived. They also gave us a dessert of choice on the house with a candle.
Our server was so nice and helpful throughout the whole meal and the food was great.
Craig and Jason are great. The server assistants do a wonderful job.
I was underwhelmed by this steakhouse. The food wasn't bad, but I wouldn't say it was good either. I will say the waiter was courteous friendly and prompt but we weren't impressed with the quality of food especially for the price. We had two Buffalo Rib Eyes, and my wife had a fish dish, as well as a coupe of the appetizers.
This is a very nice restaurant especially for someone’s birthday. For a woman they go out of their way to make it a special occasion. Sean was our waiter and he was excellent. They only stumbled with respect to the salmon, as they put too much pepper on it for my wife’s taste. That would not prevent us from coming back, I would just mention to them not to put so much pepper on the dish. Overall everything was delicious including the grits appetizer and drinks! Highly recommend it.
It was a great experience made very special!
Fleming's always offers consistently good food, excellent service, and we always take advantage of one of the daily specials. My only criticism is that the sides are way too expensive and large -- would prefer smaller portions at a lower cost so that we could try several of the wonderful offerings!
Our 21st Anniversary was lovely at Fleming’s tonight! As always, impeccable service, filets were cooked to perfection and the shrimp stuffed with crab was delicious! Loved that our table was decorated with gold card, confetti & a single white rose upon arrival! Champagne & (made in-house ) chocolates are beyond the sweetest touch and very much appreciated!! Thank you again !
Celebrated our anniversary, it was amazing in every aspect.
For the price, it’s a bit overrated.
Has gone downhill since renovation. Not the fine dining experience it once was. Now just seems like a chain steakhouse. Ordered ribeye and it was "eh" - like something worse than I could have made at home. Onion rings had a bland breading. Was not very good.
been coming here over 12 years , never a disappointment, always a top notch, always take good care of customers, and delicious food !
Our first visit to Flemings and it was superb. We will be back for another visit soon.
Good food and service always amazing!
For the extremely high prices the food was just OK. I have to give their steaks a B minus rating. I’ve had much better steaks elsewhere and didn’t pay near the price. The service was very good however the ambience was loud and not very relaxing. I’m glad we tried it because now I know not to go back.
Great valentines dinner. Kevin, our server was excellent. Very attentive without being intrusive. Fillets were cooked perfect. Probably the best valentines experience ever. We usually don’t go out because of wait times and getting bad service, not this time. Fantastic time at Fleming’s.
Super slow service, didn’t even get our water or bread for at least 15 minutes, dinner took an hour Plus just to get served... And very very noisy. Waiter kept apologizing for the waits, but never offered any compensation for the inconvenience. Not happy to pay over $250 for a meal to have this kind of experience, food was just okay, will not be back.
My husband and I came here the evening before Valentines Day to have a great dinner. Unfortunately, we couldn’t have had a worse experience. We both ordered the French Onion soup which for some reason when it came out didn’t even include broth. It was a bowl of sherry sautéed onions with a little bit of cheese on top. We were so surprised how bad it was. We put in our dinner order at the same time that we placed our soup order and yet waited an hour until our food arrived. Our server came out twice to let us know that it was on our way but yet nothing continued to come. He never apologized about the wait or asked if we wanted anything while we waited. My husband got the Filet which was cooked very nicely and I got the Chef recommended Tuna which was cooked well but lacked seasoning. Our waiter must have known things weren’t good as he never came by to ask how everything was. We wanted to speak to a manager prior to leaving but we just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. I couldn’t believe the overall poor experience that we had at this establishment. We were under the impression this was as good, if not better, than Ruth’s Chris. I don’t think we will be visiting this steakhouse again as there are far better places that we have had the benefit of dining at that has had far superior service, food, and atmosphere.
My husband and I had the opportunity to dine at Fleming’s without having to worry about the bill so needless to say we decided to go back but with baited breath. It was like night and day compared to our previous experience. We had the pleasure to have Craig Fox wait on us. He was attentive and quick. The food was also better than we had ever thought. We had the pleasure of enjoying their jumbo crab stuffed shrimp, lobster bisque, Filet with Lobster Tail, Fleming’s potatoes, Brussel sprouts, creamed spinach, & creme brûlée. Everything was cooked spectacularly, manager and wait staff went above & beyond. Thank you Fleming’s!
They renovated the restaurant to where there is more seating in the bar. I made a reservation and they end up sitting us in the bar right next to the hostess stand. Definitely not what I was looking for when I went there.
Way too noisy, could not talk among us and enjoy our company . Did not expect that with fine dinning. Other then the server, who was excellent and the food which was good, we did not enjoy the evening.
It was my husbands and I 24th wedding anniversary. It was a great experience and the food was great as usual.
Date night with the hubby.
Fantastic Sunday prix fixe menu. In my experience Fleming’s can be up or down, but when it is up (as with this visit) it absolutely rivals Ruth’s Chris and Del Frisco’s; and with the Bloomin’ Brands Rewards program, offers extra value. On this visit, the steaks were exceptionally flavorful and cooked to order, with generous salads, and lobster tails. Cocktails and wine ordered, as well as the service and desserts did not disappoint. Definitely looking forward to our next visit.
Great food, service, and atmosphere. This place never disappoints. Andrea C., our server, was friendly, helpful, and excellent in her job.
The service was really great. I just didn’t like that they sat us near the kitchen. It was kind of loud . I just don’t think restaurants should have tables that close to the kitchen. But other than that the food was really good and our server was awesome.
Our server was incredible. The hostess accosted our request to move to a booth without any hassle. All of the recommendations for food were amazing!
My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. We were seated right away and greeted by our server quickly. On Tuesday they have a promotion “Tomahawk Tuesday” were for $125 you get a 35oz. Tomahawk bone in ribeye for two, two salads, two sides, and two desserts. This is a great deal. We ordered the steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. If you’re not worried about the calorie count go for the lobster Mac & cheese. The server was very personable and attentive. It was a great all around dining experience.
I never inform a restaurant it’s a special occasion but for some reason when I booked this it asked the occasion and it was my wife’s birthday so I checked birthday. We arrived to a table with confetti and a card. They crafted a special desert and left my wife with a box of chocolates. Never have I experienced this at a restaurant. It was above and beyond. This was my first time dinning at Fleming’s and now certainly will not be my last. I highly recommend the restaurant
As always it was a great experience. We always madr to fel welcome and our waiter Jason does a great job in taking care of us. We were celebrating our nephew's staright A repaort card and it his choice to eat at Fleming's.
We thank you for the effort and care provided by everyone at the restaurant. We will always recommend Fleming's to our friends.
Excellent service and great ambiance. We were celebrating our anniversary and the restaurant went out of their way to make that celebration one to remember.
Great food and excellent service!
Great place, good food, great service way overpriced.
Jason is always the best ! Takes such good care of you. Tried the tomahawk Tuesday special - incredible. Definitely recommend !
Great food, great service, but definitely not cheap! Great for special occasion dining.
