We went there for my birthday meal. The Ambiance was great along with fantastic service. Of course I had the Rib Eye Steak and my wife had the Chilean Sea Bass; both were superb. You get what you pay for here. It's well worth the price.
The night we were there, it was a hit out of the ballpark. We had a 5:45 reservation and left after 8:00 without any push to take our table. The staff was more than accomondating and certainly were working their tails off to give great service. The food is always fabulous, tonight was no exception. The petite filet is just the right size for anyone wanting to be able to enjoy wine, sides, and dessert. The mac and cheese and scalloped potatoes, along with a side of brussel sprouts with thick chunks of bacon were all excellent. Lava cake was fabulous as always. Remember to order it about 20 minutes before you want it as that's how long it takes to bake. No complaints! And, best part, I met a nice man at the bar getting there early. Now I have to go back to the bar to check out that scene!
John was very attentive and helpful. Had a quiet booth. Our favorite place to go for outstanding steak.
My hubby and I went for the first time on Valentine’s Day. The ambiance was typical to other steakhouses—dim, somewhat quiet with very courteous staff. The main room was definitely busy and a lot noisier, but we were lucky enough to be seated in a more intimate area that consisted of maybe 4 other couples.
We started with the crab cakes as an appetizer and they were probably in my top 3 of best crabs cakes. My husband and I both ordered the filet mignon, each paired with a steak companion—I ordered lump crab meat & he ordered baked shrimp. The shrimp was great but I could have done without the crab meat that was served atop grilled asparagus...neither were very flavorful. We also ordered macaroni & cheese and Brussel sprouts which were both AMAZING!!! (I am tempted to place a to-go order for those.)
Overall, we had a nice experience and would probably return again. I gave it 4-stars because it was just like the other local steakhouses in the area.
We enjoyed a lovely dinner, my husband loved his steak.
Enjoyed a wonderful meal on our first visit to Flemings steakhouse. We will certainly return. Service was topnotch and my steak was fabulous.
Had a friend in from out of town. I didn’t want to deal with going out in SF and taking Bart home late at night, so we did this instead. We were both really impressed. Decor could use some updating, but the food and service were out of this world! I’ll be back!
Great for my special occasion, b'day. As usual, food was delicious; service was outstanding! Friendly staff is amazing! Mary, our waitress, was great! Mark is so very friendly, we've known him from our first visit to Fleming's. Thanks for making it so special . . . .
The food and service were excellent. When we dine at a high end restaurant such as Flemings, we dress appropriately: jacket and slacks, and spouse in her finest. However, there were diners in shorts, flip-flops, and gym attire. This fine restaurant lacks a dress code!
Flemming's is our favorite restaurant to celebrate our special occasions. We are always satisfied by their excellent service, food, and ambience. We've been coming here for years to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and other family occasions. Thank you for being a part of our memories.
All was wonderful but but very overpriced. Unfortunately we will not be coming back
Way to noisy. Everything is Ala Carte. Be nice to have included sides with Steak Entree’s.
I had never been to Flemings before. The atmosphere is a traditional steak house. Everything was wonderful except for one thing I noticed as soon as we sat down. It smelled like musty carpet and the carpets were dirty. I know that seems nit picky but I noticed it. If I am going to spend $400 on a meal I expect everything to be almost perfect. But the food was very good and our waiter was very attentive and took good care of us.
Very expensive for the value. Could have done more in presentation. Steak was very good, but 4 white plates with just a slab of meat leaves you to wonder if your better off with a grill at home. Food was good. Service was good but either $10 less or some sizzle on the plate
I had the Monday steak & crab special. The steak was great but I felt there could of been a bigger portion of crab.
Excellent all around. Impressed by the cold salad fork. Attentive service.
Food and service was excellent. Dinner for two cost about $200. Ordered 2 steaks, 2 sides and a dessert. This is a lot more than I would usually spend for a date night, but it is definitely worth the splurge once in a while.
Parking was insane. Our reservation was at 7pm, we arrived at around 6:20 to look for parking, but we didn't find one until about 6:55pm. There were so many cars circling the garage at the same time we were. Got done with dinner around 8:30pm and there were loads of spaces available.
For the expense of eating at Flemings, I will only return during the week when hopefully, it wouldn't be as crowded and as noisy as it was on a Saturday night. Expect to pay around $200/pp for dinner. For that price, I would like a little more room and less noise. The food was good and the waiter timed everything nicely. We never felt rushed.
We were celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary....John and the entire staff made it a very memorable evening...thank you all so much....
Great dinner, excellent service and all special requests were met.
Service was great-even on a busy night. Food Overall space was looking pretty beat up and need of some cleaning, maintenance and TLC.
When one spends over $400 on a weeknight dinner for four (w/o wine), the expectation of professional service, fine food and a memorable experience is the expectation.
Celebrating my son's 22nd birthday at Flemings, all those expectations were unfulfilled. Our waitress was curt, minimally attentive and had mistakes with our order. I ordered a rare plus steak that was gray throughout and had to be sent back. On whole, our party found the steaks to be average for the price ($49-$61.50) and lacked any distinctive flavor or characteristics that would make us return.
For the money of a fine dining experience, I perceive Fleming's a poor value as there are much more distinctive dining options in this price range
Good Monday deal for Filet and Lobster or Snow Crab meal.
I was glad to see our last server at our previous dining at Fleming's and she cleaned our table. Our server seem very busy and took a long time to get to us for we can order
Great service- David. Great food
Great experience. Food was delicious
Everything was outstanding. Exceeded expectations
