Fleming's Steakhouse - Tyson's Corner Ratings and Reviews
We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation and were told by the hostess that our table was being prepared. This was a Monday night and the restaurant was busy, but not overwhelmingly so. After waiting for 20 minutes, we went to the bar and ended up ordering an appetizer. When it arrived, we still had not been called for our table. In the end, we got our food and ate there. Thought the hostess staff were a few feet away and could clearly see us waiting, we were never asked about our table.
This is our favorite restaurant in the DMV. As a couple we celebrate all events, the food, service and atmosphere always exceed our expectations!! You can never go wrong with Fleming’s! The manager is an extremely attentive and make sure you have a wonderful experience!
We split a wedge salad and the PRIME DRY-AGED NEW YORK STRIP, and baked potato plus a bottle of Conundrum Red Blend. (We took home some of the wine.) The food was very good overall--the steak was excellent, as was the wedge salad. The potato was blah. They decanted the wine--an elegant touch that most restaurants sadly don't do. The negatives were that the steak and baked potato were excessively expensive. If I recall correctly, $61.95 for the steak and $10.95 for the potato. Granted the steak was excellent--but potatoes are so cheap, it's irritating for them to mark it up so much. The wine was reasonably priced at $50. We have a nice steakhouse nearby that has much tastier baked potatoes for $6, and a NY strip for $29.99.
The food was very good. The service was poor. Our waitress was not attentive. Never came to refill drinks or ask how things were or if we needed anything(i.e. butter for lobster)
The timing between courses was very long. Also she seemed to have a bad attitude.
Manager was accommodating when we had an issue with a meal. He was very good.
Would make sure this woman never waited on me again. She ruined our evening.
We met two friends at Fleming’s for (what we hoped would be) a delicious New Years Eve dinner. We were not disappointed!
Regardless of the fact that it is a chain restaurant - and located in a Marriott - we agreed that it was worth every penny.
The food was very good (lobster a bit overdone), steaks perfect, and a comprehensive wine list. Our server was attentive and prompt to make recommendations and listen to preferences.
It was a bit loud, being packed with merry makers - but still enjoyable. Well be back!
Everything was delicious. The $50 gift card didn't come close to covering it. Got the main filet mignon but should have ordered the petit mignon. Wedge salad was fruity and not bitter. The house specialty potatoes were not spicy. Didn't get desert but may have to go back just for that. The full glass of wine was definitely enough for my wife and I to share. Great for a special occasion.
I was celebrating my birthday. The food was/is great as always. Our server Melissa Wunder was fantastic!.....her surname befits her perfectly because she is a wonder! I was made to feel very special. Upper management came around to make sure everything was ok and wished me a Happy Birthday. The Chocolate Truffles I received as a gift was so divine. KUDOS!!!! to everyone.
I have recently fell back in love with Fleming's. The food was great! We just wanted to go in for a lighter bite but couldn't resist my favorites like the mashed potatoes that I ask them to add blue cheese in. I'm talking delicious. I also get the mac and cheese (extra crispy). Yum! We got the shrimp and grits with scallops. They have one of the best Old Fashioned I have ever had. Don't skip the Mule either.
One of our favorite places for steak in the area. Food and service are always top notch and the management team is exceptional - making sure everything is to your liking. We’ve found this place to be consistently better than Morton’s / Ruth’s Chris options in the area and with lower prices. They also offer a very strong selection of wines. Worth the visit.
This is the best steakhouse in Northern Virginia. The steaks are great and perfectly prepared (I am picky and they always get it right). Sara was our server and she was excellent. Dave, the manager chipped in as it was a very busy evening. The wine list is reasonably priced and they have many by-the-glass options. We couldn't have been happier.
The service was good and the food pretty good ( how can you mess up steaks?) but this restaurant is way overpriced for what you get in terms level of creativity and cooking required. It is like all others of its ilk like Morton’s and Ruth Chris- the people are nice but NOT a good value.
We were about to enjoy a fine dinner on Thanksgiving. Our salads had just arrived. Sadly, we received a call that my wife's mother had passed. As my wife left the restaurant, and our boys (age 22 & 20) followed to comfort her, the staff noticed that something was up. I explained the situation to them. In an exceptional showing of grace and hospitality, the waitstaff asked the kitchen to quickly prepare our meals. They then boxed them up for us and sent us on our way. The manager refused my payment (I left the staff a sizable tip)and only asked that we return under better circumstances. We will. For sure. I highly, highly recommend Fleming's of Tyson's Corner.
My husband and I like to hit Flemings for Happy Hour, where we can share a great meal and a few drinks; however, we also like to take the family to Flemings for special occasions - and Flemings does not disappoint. While it caters towards "adult" diners and offers fantastic food and wine, they do have a kids menu that is affordable and delicious.
We celebrated our Anniversary at Fleming and I had no regrets for picking this place. It was excellent! The food was amazing, Service was very attentive and on time. We had our table reserved with a note from a management congratulating us on the anniversary! We are definitely coming back. It was a great experience.
We arrived early and sat in the bar area. Although we have dined here often, this was our first time dining here on a Saturday night. We were shocked how packed the restaurant and bar were! A great testament to the delicious food here! Although pricey, we love the food and the service is always the best! The is one of our favorite restaurants!
