Fleming's Steakhouse - Tyson's Corner Ratings and Reviews
This was my first visit to Flemings; however it will not be my last. From the moment I pulled up for Valet parking, the customer service and attention were outstanding. The receptionists were warm an friendly and our server was outstanding. The manager came to speak to us making sure we had enjoyed our dining experience. The food was delicious and the ambience was warm and cozy. I had a great evening.
Great food and excellent server. Busy night for them and we weren’t happy with our booth because the configuration wasn’t conducive for conversation. The manager was very accommodating and was able to seat us at a table. Calamari appetizer was great and the petite filet was exceptional in every way.
Wonderful dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. Although we arrived 20 minutes early, we were seated right away in a booth as requested in my reservation. Waiting on the table was a birthday card as a greeting for my wife.
Waitress came to the table promptly to provide menus and explain the specials. She returned in 15 minutes to ask if we had any questions and to take drink orders. We ordered appetizers (both the French onion soup and lobster bisque were excellent), two of the marinated steak specials, a bone-in rib eye and a grilled vegetable platter for our one vegetarian. Food arrived in appropriate order and we never felt rushed. Wait staff was very attentive with our water glassed filled frequently and our bread basket re-filled with freshly baked bread.
All our food was excellent - highly recommend the bone-in rib eye. Sides were big enough to share which we did with the baked potato and grilled asparagus.
Both the manager and assistant manager stopped by to check on our meal and to wish my wife Happy Birthday. The bar tender also stopped by to check on how we like our margaritas.
All in all we had a wonderful meal and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her birthday celebration which included excellent chocolate lava cake and even a small box of chocolates presented by our waitress.
We highly recommend Flemings at Tysons Corner for future special occasions and will be visiting them more frequently for their excellent food and service!
We had a fantastic meal. Everything from the servive to the ambiance was great. We were celebrating a birthday and loved the truffles to go. Additionally, we had a disabled person in our party with special dietary requirements and we were able to find the perfect meal for her.
The steak and tuna were well prepared and the service was top notch. However, Fleming's is way overpriced. You can get comparable quality steaks and service at several nearby restaurants (e.g., Capital Grill) for less. Also, I couldn't escape the Marriott Courtyard feel even though the decor was decent.
We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation and were told by the hostess that our table was being prepared. This was a Monday night and the restaurant was busy, but not overwhelmingly so. After waiting for 20 minutes, we went to the bar and ended up ordering an appetizer. When it arrived, we still had not been called for our table. In the end, we got our food and ate there. Thought the hostess staff were a few feet away and could clearly see us waiting, we were never asked about our table.
This is our favorite restaurant in the DMV. As a couple we celebrate all events, the food, service and atmosphere always exceed our expectations!! You can never go wrong with Fleming’s! The manager is an extremely attentive and make sure you have a wonderful experience!
We split a wedge salad and the PRIME DRY-AGED NEW YORK STRIP, and baked potato plus a bottle of Conundrum Red Blend. (We took home some of the wine.) The food was very good overall--the steak was excellent, as was the wedge salad. The potato was blah. They decanted the wine--an elegant touch that most restaurants sadly don't do. The negatives were that the steak and baked potato were excessively expensive. If I recall correctly, $61.95 for the steak and $10.95 for the potato. Granted the steak was excellent--but potatoes are so cheap, it's irritating for them to mark it up so much. The wine was reasonably priced at $50. We have a nice steakhouse nearby that has much tastier baked potatoes for $6, and a NY strip for $29.99.
The food was very good. The service was poor. Our waitress was not attentive. Never came to refill drinks or ask how things were or if we needed anything(i.e. butter for lobster)
The timing between courses was very long. Also she seemed to have a bad attitude.
Manager was accommodating when we had an issue with a meal. He was very good.
Would make sure this woman never waited on me again. She ruined our evening.
We met two friends at Fleming’s for (what we hoped would be) a delicious New Years Eve dinner. We were not disappointed!
Regardless of the fact that it is a chain restaurant - and located in a Marriott - we agreed that it was worth every penny.
The food was very good (lobster a bit overdone), steaks perfect, and a comprehensive wine list. Our server was attentive and prompt to make recommendations and listen to preferences.
It was a bit loud, being packed with merry makers - but still enjoyable. Well be back!
Everything was delicious. The $50 gift card didn't come close to covering it. Got the main filet mignon but should have ordered the petit mignon. Wedge salad was fruity and not bitter. The house specialty potatoes were not spicy. Didn't get desert but may have to go back just for that. The full glass of wine was definitely enough for my wife and I to share. Great for a special occasion.
I was celebrating my birthday. The food was/is great as always. Our server Melissa Wunder was fantastic!.....her surname befits her perfectly because she is a wonder! I was made to feel very special. Upper management came around to make sure everything was ok and wished me a Happy Birthday. The Chocolate Truffles I received as a gift was so divine. KUDOS!!!! to everyone.
