What a disappointment! Fleming's is all "flash & dazzle" with little substance. Yes, the steaks are very good quality, but the high prices do not justify the arrogant service and "surprise" additions to the entrees. I ordered a "sliced filet" dish with risotto and a mushroom sauce. That was the description of the item. When I tasted it, there was a very spicy/hot taste that didn't appeal to me. When I asked the waiter what it was, he said it was chili oil; it was drizzled all over the plate. I do not like chili oil. He did not offer to replace the dish. Instead, he asked me if I wanted sour cream to "help the heat." Therefore, I couldn't eat any of the risotto and had to substitute mushroom sauce with sour cream.
The carrot cake was excellent -- the best part of the meal. I will not be returning to Fleming's.
As always, everything, food and service was excellent although the filet mignon has been a bit tastier in the past.
Perfectly cooked steaks and excellent service for our son's birthday celebrations last weekend in Tucson!
The staff was very attentive and very friendly! We enjoyed our meal together and look forward to coming back. My son loves to celebrate his birthday here.
We love this place
Only thing was I found a tooth pick in my steak and server charged to much for my filet ......but they took care of both issues
We went to Fleming's Steakhouse recently while on vacation in Tucson. The food was really amazing. The steak was so good. I realized that they have a Fleming's in New Jersey. Will definitely go to that one real soon. Our wait staff team was amazing. Everything was perfect - could not ask for anything more.
Food was excellent and our server Matthew M was terrific
Excellent, very tender filet mignonette, and delicious Brussels sprouts and bacon side dish. My wife had sea bass, which she also enjoyed very much. Attentive and efficient service. Comfortable booth seating.
We have been to Fleming’s many times. This time was for my birthday. It was excellent as always. Keith was a great waiter. Prices are somewhat high but it’s worth it for the quality of the food and service. Always a pleasure.
Food was great. Excellent
We have dined at Flemings numerous times and have always had great food and great service. This visit, however, was a major disappointment. From the time we walked in to the time we left, the service was terrible. We asked for a different table, she went to check on another table and never returned. We waited a long time for our drink order and waited longer for our drinks to be served. The waitress was told we were two parties, yet we received a combined check. She mentioned that one of the desserts had to be ordered 20 minutes early, yet never came back to check to see if anyone wanted that particular dessert. There was more, too. The evening, in general, was a big disappointment and we probably won't return to Flemings because of this evening.
As always the food and service was good. Prices seem to have gone up.
We received a gift card to Flemings. I would not otherwise have gone. We took two friends; no one ordered appetizers or dessert. We shared one bottle of moderately priced wine and drank tap water. One of my guests had a plate of vegetables only ($58.00); two ordered steaks and I had a less expensive entrée. My husband I split a salad. The tab was over $350! the ambience is OK - kind of stuffy in my opinion. No outdoor seating in a city that loves outdoor dining. The service was OK but we were overcharged for an item that never came to the table (a $12.00 baked potato). I will never return there. Just too much money for an evening out and while the meat was delicious, it's not worth it!
amazing fillet, one of the best i've ever had and i'm from Iowa. Fantastic ceasar salad too. Sides are tasty but ridiculously expensive.
noisiest restaurant i've ever eaten in (this one's in Tucson) and for that reason and the over the top high prices, will not return. ..unless i have another gift certificate.
p.s. you cannot bring wine into a restaurant in Tucson so plan on paying the big bucks for wine too.
We stopped in on a Sunday, which featured a $43 prime rib 3-course meal, including a choice of salads, a 12-ounce prime rib (my husband's was thinner than mine, so probably less than 12 ounces), a side and dessert. Our table was in a bit of a traffic way, so not the best location. The setting was otherwise attractive, the food good and best of all, the Diner Rewards credits we had accumulated at Carrabba's gave us a $40 credit!
Flemings has changed radically in its pricing and value. The wonderful 5for6till7 cocktail hour has been eliminated. The weekend prime rib specials have been eliminated. Prices in the dining room have seemingly increased 25%. Paying $14 for onion soup in Arizona is a bit too much and it was not as good or as hot as in the past. Chilean sea bass in the $45-50 range was FROZEN. Two entrees and a glass of wine will easily set you back about $150 if you make judicious choices. Management seems to have decided to soak up some of the tax cut f.rom their formerly loyal patrons. Based on the empty bar. people have voted with their feet.
Service was excellent.
First class steakhouse. Excellent waitstaff
Very pricey but seriously great food and service ... even the asparagus got raves in my group! The steaks were juicy and came out sizzling!
The staff members of Fleming’s were incredibly considerate and polite. I don’t have much experience with wine pairings and our server Stephanie took the time to recommend what would go well with the meal (excellent recommendations by the way). We spoke with servers, front staff and a manager during our time and all members were very welcoming and seemed genuinely interested in making sure our experience was a positive one. Will be recommending this restaurant to others. They made our anniversary an incredibly positive (and filling) experience.
It was the best way to celebrate an anniversary. Enjoyed our dinner very much
Again another great experience. Waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable about the wine list.
Price is a bit high, although the steaks are phenomenal. Great service. Romantic dinner for 2... be ready to drop $250( appetizers, entrees, 2 glass vino, shared dessert). If you got it, worth it.
We don't have a Fleming's in Minneapolis, but we spend time in Tucson every winter, and Fleming's is one of our go to places. We arrived on February 15th, and booked it for a day late Valentine's day dinner. It was superb. We ordered the small plates, but it was enough food, and everything was perfectly prepared. The service is unparalleled.
On Valentines day so was super busy and very noisy
dont know the place on a regular night so V day was expecting it to be so
Apps were delicious
Cocktails were good I had champagne
I had salmon the rest of our group had steaks
Which were very tender
We went on Valentines so expected it to be nuts. It was full, but not nuts. Service was fine and timely. We both had filet mignon, wife ordered medium-it was done right, I ordered med. rare it was done right on the sides but not in the middle. No I did not send back, we wanted to eat together and this was not that big of a deal. All in all was we enjoyed the meal and evening. It is a little on the pricey side, but a good time and we will go back.
Great for special occasions, such amazing service and food!
Birthday. Thank you for my take home truffles!
Service by Chris and Austin was outstanding. Timely, friendly and with the right frequency. Food was well prepared and tasty. A little extra treat from the kitchen for dessert. We were never rushed. The wine list is extensive, but a bit pricey, as we have purchased a number of the wines directly from wineries or at other local shops for much less. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
We had an amazing meal. Everything was perfect. We will be back soon!
The filet was over cooked and I ordered it to be medium as was the petite filet, I was a little disappointed, and we had to wait a good while to get a second round of drinks.
Filet Mignon and Dry Aged Rib Eye steaks were tasty. Mashed Potatoes, Asparagus and Onion Rings were perfect complements. Be sure to try their steak sauces - we chose the Bearnaise this time.
For the price the food was average. I did get a chance to speak with he manager and he was very nice, but the food was just not good enough for the prices they charge.
We really like dining at Flemings. The food and service are excellent and we never had a unsatisfactory meal. It's a lovely dining room - great atmosphere. Their burgers during happy hour are the best.
Great food, great service. Fleming’s is very hard to beat and the Tucson version is outstanding.
I want to give a special thank you to management but more specific Kurt. He help me pull off the perfect birthday dinner for my lovely fiancé. The food was amazing but the people were great who work at this location . I can’t say enough about this location and especially Kurt and I hope I am spelling his name correctly
I had heard how good Fleming's was and for my birthday and my friend's, we decided to make a reservation. While the personnel were polite and excellent at their positions, I frankly found the place to seem "tired". For the price point, I had set my expectations too high perhaps. I have been to several upscale steakhouses and felt this one was not anything special. The food was good, but not exceptional in my opinion. Having said that, we had an enjoyable evening.
We celebrated my dad's 90th birthday there and thankfully had asked for a quieter spot - in the back room. Perfect! The main dining room was filled to the brim with happy conversation.
Our food - steaks and salads and sides - were excellent but the service was exceptional!
Everyone in our party was thrilled with our celebration at Flemings. Thank you!
This is our local (wonderful) steak house and we frequent Fleming’s for its great happy hour - but we happily took advantage of their Monday filet and lobster special - it was superb! And the ambiance and service did not disappoint... Thanks to Joey for a fun night and to Flemings for a memorable anniversary dinner (and special treat!)
Probably our favorite restaurant in Tucson, the food and service is always outstanding! Cannot wait to visit again.
Fleming's Monday night special of Filet and either lobster or crab fest was spectacular. Couldn't ask for such a superb three course meal for such a great price. Everything was made to perfection and the service was dynamite. Will definitely return for another great Monday night special soon...
