Fleming's Steakhouse - Summerlin Ratings and Reviews
First off we made a reservation for Valentine’s Day 2018. When we arrived 30 minutes before our scheduled time there we at least 30 couples waiting for tables. I was told by the hostess she would “try” to get us seated by our reservation time. We had a drinks in the bar and were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time. The hostess ‘Sarah’ came to the bar and found me and let me know our table was ready. Outstanding job given the circumstances.
We went to Fleming's for Valentine's Day and while they were very crowded (as expected), we were seated within a few minutes of our reservation time. The food was phenomenal (kudo's to the chef!) and our waiter, Jones Tidy, was great. Very friendly and attentive. Even took our photo, which some other couples noticed, asked for and he took theirs also :) All in all it was a great experience, the ambiance is perfect for a romantic evening and we will definitely enjoy more dinners there in the future.
My wife an myself went to Flemmings in Las Vegas. It was Valentine's day and it was packed and service was very bad. Never go their ever again on Feb. 14th. When busy service stunk. Waiters and cooks could not handle crowd. This special day for me and my girl was ruined.
I wish I could give it more stars, I was really looking forward to eating here for the first time. However, even though we had reservations I think they overbooked themselves, I tried to be patient about it, I know I made a reservation on a busy day and time of the day. We waited for about 45 min over our reservation time and when I asked for an update on the status on our table, it kind of rinsed me like.going to the doctor and you have an appointment but you still end up in the waiting room for over an hour. Anyways, I was told there was still a handful of reservations ahead of mine and I just had to wait a while longer. I ended up leaving because I had other appointments I could not delay. Needless to say, my.wife and I did not have dinner until we got home from our other appointments. Maybe I'll have better luck at another location.
Fleming’s always knows how to do dining right. Everything was absolutely delicious. From the sweet chili calamari to the chocolate molten lava cake. Jones our waiter, was spot on during the entire meal despite it being an extremely busy night on Valentine’s Day. I highly recommend Fleming’s and Jones for that consistently top notch dining experience.
Made a reservation and had to wait 30 min before being sat. Had to send both steaks back for being over cooked, left sides in table while new steaks cooked, when new steaks came they were cooked differently (even though both were ordered Med Rare) and when I showed Mgr she apologized but didn't do anything else. I question weather steaks were in fact prime as they were a bit tough. Overall not great for money spent. ($150 per person)
I have been here 3-4 times. This time my wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary.
I used open-table app to make the reservation which was fast and easy, I even change the reservation to a different time an hour before and was available..note, we went on Monday and the restaurant was 60% full.
Food taste good
Good variety of drink including a nice wine selection. We bought a red Merlot bottle for $80 from France that was good.
Food arrive fast and a good pace
Servers where phenomenal, our main reason for coming back to this place. They went beyond our expectations and give us an anniversary card and some free chocolates in a box at the end.
Unless you are doing valet, parking is hard to find.
I feel food is a bit overprice but, the service makes up for it. We spent $254 for 2 before tips...granted we bought an $80 wine bottle ;-)
We had a late reservation, we were seated next to the kitchen. Employees were cleaning up the kitchen and talking loudly. There were still people dining. The service became very slow, as the waiter was more focused on closing down than completing our dining experience. Its was very unprofessional, and unfair for customers to have to wait extended periods in an uncomfortable environment. The manager should manage better.
From the time that Sarah greeted us, to Cory getting us drinks at the bar to Skylar taking our order, everything was FANTASTIC!!!
We started with the Sautéed Calamari. WOW! It was spot on. Next we each had a salad, the Wedge and a regular salad. The Wedge beat out the regular salad by a tiny bit, but I would recommend either depending on what you feel like any given night. The entrees were the Prime New York Steak and the other was the Scallops. The New York Steak was absolutely delicious and was cooked perfectly. The Scallops were also AMAZING, cooked to that point of perfection. They were on a bed of Cheese Grits and Arugula. Here’s the funny thing. The ABSOLUTE WINNER OF THE NIGHT WAS THE CHEESE GRITS. If I had to have given up every other item and was only allowed the Cheese Grits, I would have been satisfied. Actually I would have been in heaven. BY FAR the BEST Cheese Grits EVER!!! I would LITERALLY stop in just for an order of the Cheese Grits. They were the unexpected SUPERSTAR of the night.
I HIGHLY recommend Fleming’s. I just don’t see how you could go wrong.
By the way, Alejandro and Veronica were two other assistants to Skylar. I had to mention them, because they assisted in making the night a perfect dinner. Each of our servers were attentive, friendly, and funny. Needless to say we left with full stomachs and smiles on our faces.
My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Reggie was our server and gave excellent service. Personable, attentive, and never missed a beat. Corey, a manager, stopped by the table to greet us and say hello. I had the colossal king crab legs, their presentation was the best I’ve ever seen! I even got a cold fork and plate with my salad service. Those little details made the experience exceptional! We even got a box of chocolate truffles for our anniversary, such a nice touch. If you are looking for a romantic evening, come to this location!
The steak was good. Small plate portion was adequate. Service was friendly and outstanding. However, I was extremely disappointed with the lobster tempura. The dough was too much., very heavy. It was very greasy, it didn’t taste like a tempura at all. The lobster was all small claws with half of the lobster was nothing but shells. The sauce that came with it was so salty, it could make the customer’s blood pressure to rise.
Fleming’s on New Year’s Eve as a special occasion with my family was a disappointment. Jones provided stellar service. The food was fair but the price tag was excessive for the quality of the food. We eat out regularly and are not opposed to paying a high price for exceptional food....... Next time we will head to the strip for guaranteed exceptional food and a high price tag!
This was our first visit, our reservation was 30 min late, which is a trigger sign for me. The bar was quick with good drinks. Once seated John tried to stay with us, but be would disappear many times through the evening. The food took as long as the reservation was late. We thought they forgot yo put our order in. Once it came it was fantastic. We would go back but we would expect slow late service and fantastic food.
From the moment we arrived we felt like we were getting the VIP treatment. We were celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary and it was a great experience. The waiter gave us excellent service and great suggestions. The meal was outstanding! The entire staff from the valet, front desk, waiter and busboy were very friendly and made our visit all the better. Thanks to all and we will be back soon!
Went here on Christmas Eve for a nice dinner. It was chaos upon entry with reservation being honored 40 + minutes late. People were jammed in the entrance and pseudo-waiting area like a scrum. Once seated had an excellent meal with great service. Strip prices for eating in the suburbs however. Would return but won't likely be a frequent diner here with so many options in town.
Usually Flemings is top notch. They have the best steak in town and the best hot lava cake! The bread and cheese is amazing!!!! My husband's steak was "off" and they replaced it immediately - no question. On this particular visit, the sides were small and tasteless. This was unfortunate because we were taking family and we talked up how good everything was. Like I said, best steak in Las Vegas - but definitely pricey. For $14. each - the sides were small and not very good. We ordered three sides (fries - overcooked, mashed potatoes - small, cold, tasteless, asparagus - small, cold, tasteless). A little disappointing but usually excellent! This is our favorite restaurant overall and plan to give them another try!
Outstanding food and service; our table was late which wasn’t a big surprise since people don’t always leave when they should but the restaurant comped our appitizer. Since it was the celebration of our 10 year wedding anniversary we were given a nice card and some chocolates too. Barbara ( I think that was the name) was very attentive and cordial as our server. I look forward to the time when I can go back.
