Fleming's Steakhouse - St. Louis

Very mediocre. Slow service. Iced beverages (water, tea) left empty. Longer gaps between courses. Main courses were good. Dessert was bad. “Lava cake” had no “lava”, basically a nice brownie. Server recognized it right away and deducted it from the bill, but when you wait 20-minutes for a dessert course that’s a stretch. Pretty clear Flemings is struggling to manage staff, service, etc at this time. Bummer.

Sat at the bar and Eric took very good care of us helping with choices. Great good, great and friendly service. Thanks, Eric. Always love having you serve us.

The food was fantastic as always. The only minor issue this time was that our table was not ready at 7:30 when we arrived and it was going to be a while before we could sit so we were seated at a booth in the bar area. There’s nothing wrong with sitting in that booth, in fact, that particular night it was actually quieter in the bar area than in the main dining area. However, we were shuffled between several servers which made things a little uneven. Overall we had a great time and we will certainly come back. I suppose the social distancing issues caused the problem with our table not being ready at 7:30 which is an unusual circumstanceAnd certainly does not change our overall high opinion of this restaurant. Still highly recommend.

due to virus seating was limited. so it was hard to compare to normal dinner. Joe, the waiter was cordial, efficient and never intrusive. food, as usual, was wonderful. wonderful place for expensive occasions.

Had my father’s 88th birthday, and were fortunate to be in a private room. Server was terrific, adjusting lighting so we could see menus, decanting our wine, and helping with menu suggestions. Fabulous food and service. (Wish there were options for veggie-guests, but grilled veggie bowl was very good.). Such a wonderful experience. THANK YOU

The St. Louis Fleming’s has sort of gone downhill. You can no longer have a cocktail at the bar, because patrons arrive by 5pm and stay for hours to get bar-food pricing. Our onion rings were so dark as to be burnt. And a steak ordered medium came out rare. The waiter just said Sorry and didn’t offer to correct anything. This used to be our go-to date night venue. No longer.

Great food and service

It was a bit of wait to get a drink at the table, asked ahead of time about the possibility of ordering and receiving well done steak, was assured would be cooked to order. Steak was rare, not any real attempt at well done.
Mgr took off, was very polite about, just a bummer as hoped for steak. If you like rare or medium steaks this is definitely the place.

Great experience. This was a delayed Valentines’ Day dinner. Our server was very attentive and made a great recommendation for dinner. As usual the food was excellent.
