The fillet was really good, but the ribeye that I had was just OK. Not a $66 steak. The wedge salad was overpriced for what you got. Service was great and dessert was great.
I have not been there for a while we were celebrating my mother’s 94th birthday wow have they raise the prices and cut the portions! Whatever you do do not order the scallops! Also, they don’t give the $25 certificate for birthdays anymore and then they bring you a birthday dessert and then end up charging you for it! Very disappointed place was half empty now I know why!
Food was not good this visit and service was not as expected service was delayed/absent.
This particular location is tired - the booths are ripped and torn. It also is extremely noisy. The waiter, probably trained to do so, felt like a salesman pushing high end beverages and food. The food was ok but not up to the par of other Flemings in my opinion.
It was wonderful and everything was perfect!! Couldn't ask for any better.
Fleming's is a wonderful steak house for that special occasion or if you have an unlimited budget. Food was great. One criticism - didn't have lamb chops.
Seated in back room. Hot, no atmosphere, waiter must have been new as he was hesitant with his service. Food pretty good.
Best value and environment Happy Hour in Scottsdale!
This was an anniversary dinner for the books. The service was great, the food was amazing, and with the exception of the price, which I knew ahead of time was going to be pricey, everything was simply amazing. Even got a hand signed card from the entire staff congratulating us on our anniversary and a couple of chocolate boxes as a gift.
Bottom line, not cheap, but I’ll definitely come back here.
Had a wonderful experience last Saturday night. Chad was our server and was very informative and helpful regarding the menu, wine pairings, etc. Every item was delicious, delivered on time and portions were a little larger than I thought they would be! The room had a nice "buzz" to it but still very easy to converse. Will be back again soon!
We have been going to Fleming's a number of times and have been very happy each and every time.
The food is excellent, the service is excellent , and the fillet & lobster tail special is the best.
Many open booths and placed us behind a table of an extremely hard if hearing man who seemed to be yelling all through our dinner. Food was great just wished for some quiet time
Dinner was way too rushed
Great Sunday night experience. The slicked tenderloin special was fantastic, Meat melted in your mouth and it included a salad and dessert. Easily shareable. Our waiter, Matthew, couldn't have been better. Will definitely return.
Great fancy date night setting. The staff was friendly, and we did not feel out of place getting dressed up to go (
It was nice and quiet. Servers were attentive and pleasant. Food was delicious
Flemming’s is nice inside, clean, and a nice staff. It’s a little sleepy and could be more hip or have live music etc like some of the other big name competitors.... mastros, Eddie V, steak 44. The food was just ok. The lobster Mac and cheese was soupy and pretty bland, the bacon and Brussels had no bacon flavor and tasted more like vinegar and were not very crispy either they were not may favorite. I think they changed their bread and butter which we used to love but that’s just bread and butter so no biggie. The weirdest part was the filet and butter lobster off the Jeff’s portion of the menu. It was an ok flavor, would have preferred a thicker creamier sauce or more of a sizzling butter but non the less it was ok. The weird part came when I flipped it over to cut it in half to give my husband some. It looked like we got another tables returned steak. It came out all prepared on a bed of risotto covered with lobster tail(that was flavorless and not cooked well) and when I turned it over there was a knife cut through the middle that was gray like someone had cut to see the temp and then sent it back to be cooked longer. We were exhausted from a rough week and didn’t want to complain so we just ate what we could, paid, and left. We live about 2 minutes away and this used to be a nice place to come and we loved the food but it did not impress us this time. Like I said the staff was nice and welcoming but food was lackluster and the precut filet was just weird and something I have never seen before.
Lovely place to go to. Very accommodating with our request for a booth and not close to the kitchen area.
Second time experiencing a bad meal at this location. Really sad but I think this Fleming’s is to b avoided. New York strip was a poor cut, tough and stringy. Steak was overcooked and allowed to rest too long. Lukewarm and dry instead of hot and juicy. Other issues as well but they could have been overlooked if the steak had been correct. Service was impeccable and not part of the problem.
We were enjoying our 66th wedding anniversary, However, we seemed to be the only ones who cared. The food was good and the service top notch, but a little disappointing compared to the competition who takes a picture and comp's a dessert. ( Mortons, RuthChris.) We have several from times past. Would have liked a little more attention for the moment. However, Today's times, where "Old Folks" don't seem to count for much are sure disappointing !!!
We were a party of 4. My wife is a vegetarian (at a steak house). Nevertheless, there still should be some kind of vegetarian offerings. Her first food offering was a salad which was brought to the table sans dressing. Oops!! She then chose the Calabasetas. They were awful. Nothing more than a few (3 or 4) large pieces of zucchini in a cream and butter, hi-fat sauce. Sent back. The lava cake for dessert had no lava. Overcooked and bitter. On the plus side, the other three meals were very good. The Mexican corn was delicious. Prime rib perfectly cooked.
The Uncorked wine special was somewhat of a disapointment. Not because of the wine. The Duckhorn wines are excellent. In fact we are members there in Napa. However, Kaitlyn, our server, who was wonderful in every regard, except that all she did was pour small servings of each wine. There was no description of any wine other than what it was. Each pour was practically measured out. Understanding that the Uncorked event was supposed to be a "tasting", the only option told to us to "revisit" a taste was to buy a glass. Being a member of 7 different wineries and visiting Temecula and Napa frequently, we've never had quite the limit on tastings that we had a Flemings. And to compare locally, Capital Grill has the same type of event called a Genreous Pour. The servers of the wine are actually different levels of sommeliers. They actually describe what you are tasting. And generally let you revisit any and all the wines in the program.
On the plus side, Kaitlyn really was very good. She did her best and we were thankful for that. The wine manager (Liz, I believe) was a joy to talk with. Very friendly. In fact, all the staff were gracious and friendly.
Our server was good overall but seemed a bit anxious and didn't exhibit the grace and charm of others who have served me at Fleming's.
My mother’s birthday-we’ve been to Fleming’s plenty of times, but this time was a disappointment. As always, the service was excellent. Three of us had filet mignon and all of them were sub par to Flemings normal standards. The fillets were grisly, chewy and over seasoned, the lobster tail was tough. My husband had the sea bass and was satisfied.
Everything was as good as expected.
My most favorite restaurant ever. I love the filet the most. Everything is always very good
Continue to be pleased with my experience at Flemings, both with the ambience, service and quality of food
Great service. Steak was a bit over done but still great tasting.
Our party of four loved every portion of the meal. From the pork belly appetizer to the perfectly prepared filets and the sides (Fleming’s potatoes and lobster Mac and cheese, wow). The lava cake is a must. The oozing chocolate center is not too sweet and was the perfect ending.
Celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary; food was excellent as was the service. Would recommend Flemming's to anyone.
We always enjoy going to Flemings. The food comes out perfectly cooked and flavorful. I wanted to mention the great service we got from our waiter, Kristos. He was very pleasant and attentive. Please let him know I complimented him.
Normally, I think of Flemings and other chain steakhouses as four star, but his outing was a five star outing.
Great food and wonderful service
Compared with other higher end steakhouses? The prices are just a touch higher and execution not quite as high. Steak was past desired medium cook, elite corn could have cooked another 1-2 minutes to be at its best. Bread basked average at best
This place is like the Chilis of Steakhouses. The Lobster Bisque was simply tomato soup with hard (small) pieces of what some would call lobster. The Brussel Sprouts were charred so bad that the only green part was in the very center. The steak was NOT a Choice piece of meat... Save up an extra $100.00 and go to a better steakhouse.
We enjoyed it very much. Everyone was very attentive and the food was amazing.
Staff was excellent and our primary waiter was very professional and attentive without being overly friendly.
We had the Tomahawk special for two. Prepared perfectly.
The evening manager dropped by to check on us as well.
Yes Fleming’s is a little pricey but the quality and service matched the price. BTW, the dirty martini was also perfectly mixed.
Excellent service but the food lacks that "wow" factor; I would consider this to be a more pedestrian foodie paradise for those not as focused on gourmet dining. Nothing lacking, just not great!
Overall, not a bad experience. However, a little disappointed. I went to celebrate my birthday. In the past, Fleming's would give you a box of truffles and a free dessert. This time around, nothing other than a card signed by the staff.
Check in was prompt and courteous, Matthew and colleagues provided excellent service and we appreciated that he worked with the Chef and staff to ensure our dishes were delivered as ordered!
Well done !!
