Fleming's Steakhouse - San Diego Ratings and Reviews
Our server from London was quite delightful and personable. He provided good recommendations and apologized for items not to our liking. My only complaint would be we were seated in an area that was going to have a large party and we felt like we were being rushed out so they could setup for the next group. More consideration for the upcoming large party should have placed us in a different area to prevent having to rush us out at the end.
We've been to other Flemings restaurants for Special Occasions, so we were looking forward to coming to this Downtown location. All was going great from the moment we were seated to our excellent Master Server Patrick and then finally onto our delicious Turkey Feast!
The noise level was loud which was annoying but that was due to a large party seated next to our table. So 'Thankful' when the Manager had to ask them to leave since they were done and explained it was very busy and had customers waiting for table. The rest of our evening was wonderful except...
Main issue was that it took about 55 minutes for our first course and then another 45 minutes for our entree's. Very glad that Patrick was on top of this, as he came by to ask if we've had our soups yet? He apologized and returned to explain the Kitchen was running late.
Finally, when it arrived our plate of food was warm but we were too hungry to complain.
All in all it was fine and one of their employees came by to give us 2 Turkey only take-out.
Unexpected surprise ;D
Thanks for listening...
Open Table is the BEST!
Steaks were poorly cooked as well as poor quality. It was an extremely special ovcasion for us. My husband is deploying and I told him it would be the best steak he ever had! (I was comparing it to the two times I ate at La Jolla location). No comparison! I was extremely upset. The manager removed my steak from the bill, by being very nice but the second steak that was given to me, was NOT Fleming’s quality meat! My husband didn’t send his steak back but his was poor quality for sure.
Been to this location a few times a while ago wasn't impressed gave it another shot and will definitely not be going back. Was told when we walked in that we would have to wait up to 15 minutes even though we had a reservation... service is not the best at this location and steaks were under cooked on multiple occasions.
Such a great bunch serving us and so attentive. Dave K was a tip top waiter and treated us with kindness and great care. His support team was just as good from the front door till we left. Please give him our special thank you. We will be back.
A son lives there and I hope he gets to go back even without us. We thank him for the great San Diego hospitality. ... and thank you.
Patrick G. was our waiter and he was outstanding! excellent service and great attitude. He provided superior service and was attentive to needs but not overbearing. The hotels was great with my wife who was in a wheel chair. They made it easy for her to get in and out of the dining room. Definitely will be going back next time I am in area.
Always love dining at Flemings. Especially like the ribeye steaks, but this visit was to take advantage of the steak & lobster special. We always ask for Dave K at the Gaslamp location, and always try to visit when Jim Williams is managing. They are always very knowledgable re menu items, both food and wine. Very professional!
Flemings was a great spot for my wife and I to celebrate her birthday! I waiter, Pete, was awesome & the manager Chris was incredibly nice as well! They made sure we were well taken care of, that the food was up to par and constantly made sure our time at Flemings went smooth. Thanks for executing a great birthday dinner for my wife!
Overall experience was wonderful from the beginning to end. Ordered the king crab legs with a
side of mashed potatoes and ended the night with a delicious lava cake definitely a must try.
Service was beyond excellent and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be coming here again. Thank You!
From our first steps into the restaurant we were greeted and wished happy anniversary. From the hostess, the manager, the wait staff and our waiter, Rafi we were treated like royalty! Our food was prepared just perfectly and the gift box of truffles was great! We would definitely come here again!
Excellent service and food. We came for the lobster and filet special. Met expectations!
I'm a member of their rewards program and was able to use a reward and earn points.
Highly recommend! My cousin was torn between Donovan's or Flemings for his birthday celebration and I told him to go, of course, Flemings!
I enjoy going to Fleming's for the excellent service we always receive. You can dress up or go San Diego casual and you're treated the same. The food is very good, their molten lava chocolate dessert is heavenly (and can be shared) and the wine selection is very nice. It's pricey but you know that going in and I find it is worth the money for the experience we have each time.
