Ordered steak medium rare; came closer to medium. Food was OK. Not even close to Ruth’s Chris, Morton’s or Buckhead. Good atmosphere. Nice staff.

We did not have a great experience on Saturday. The appetizers were good, Shrimp Cocktail and Lobster Bisque. We both ordered a filet medium rare. Mine came out well done and had to be sent back. the one that returned was rare and encrusted in pepper (I did not ask for this) it doesn't state on the menu that steaks come pepper encrusted. Mashed potatoes were bland. Did not receive water until asking for it, after our other drinks arrived. They did comp my filet and a dessert which was nice, but did not redeem them. Will not be going back.

It's an excellent "old school steakhouse"... but it's got a heavy presence and price tag to match. In a time when farm to table and casual elegance are the standard, Flemings entire presentation misses the mark. Elegant, fresh meals can be served without pretense. I'd suggest that the owners/operators get out more and visit The Boathouse in Richmond VA, The Bancroft in Burlington, MA, KTM in San Francisco, CA... As far as value is concerned, it just wasn't there. The seafood tower? At 60 bucks, don't bother; 1 crab leg, 1 abused lobster tail and a half dozen shrimp with (excellent) Tuna poke that was more avocado than tuna... we ended up ordering a plate of oysters along side it. The Oysters were not fresh shucked and were on the verge of frozen. As an entre, I had an above average Rib Eye, but it was not cooked to my specific request. (If I order "Black and Blue" or "Pittsburgh Rare" and you tell me you can do it, do it.) The other entree was a fillet that looked lonely and sad on the plate, although it was beautifully cooked. In the end: Service was great. Bar was great. Price to value: low.

A great place for a celebratory meal! The food and service are great! The side portions are huge - at least enough for 3 people each.

My first and last time at Fleming's. While the wait staff and host were impeccable, I'm still recovering from sticker shock for what was an average meal. Our bill came to $142 for 2 filet's (6 oz. and 8 oz.), 2 baked potatoes and one glass of ice tea. On what planet should this amount of food ever come that total? The baked potatoes alone were $11 each. How does a dining establishment justify these prices? I guess it's supply and demand as the restaurant was not empty. However, I will choose to spend my dining budget in a restaurant that values my hard earned money. Shame on you, Fleming's.

Great meal with exceptional customer service

Terrific date night with my wife to celebrate Valentine's Day. Service from William was best in class. Food was delicious.

I wanted to try this place and my husband surprised me on a date and it was pricey but everything was amazing, the food, ambiance and service.

Steak could have been seared more.....just sort of grey on the outside, plus had quite a bit of fat on it for being filet mignon. Could have had more flavor too. Veggies were excellent.

Steak was overcooked. Service was a little slow. The French Onion soup was AWESOME and with the visit.

It was a great New Year's eve dinner with my significant other.

Although the food and service were quite good, the meal was very expensive; I feel over-priced.
There are other steakhouses where you can get an equally good meal/ service/ and ambiance for a better price point.

Was delicious. My companions all got Fillets and they were excellent. The asparagus, creamed spinach, and baked potatoes were all delicious and perfectly cooked.

The meat was cooked to perfection. The topper was the chocolate lava cake oh my, what a test that was. A god to place that doesn’t disappoint.

We ate at the bar which is actually a good place to eat. Bartender was attentive. Asked if I wanted to taste one of their wines by the glass. That’s always a plus. Beef carpaccio was excellent. Fish special was okay, the bottom layer potatoes veggies etc were swimming in oil. Date’s filet was cooked perfectly.

As usual, Fleming’s was awesome. We arrived early — like an hour before our reservation — so we could enjoy a couple of cocktails and a few appetizers in the bar. The drinks were great and we especially enjoyed the tater tots. The bar staff was friendly and efficient.
Kudos to the folks managing reservations and seating during a very busy thanksgiving evening. They were so accommodating in seating us before our reservation time when our guests arrived a bit early.
Dinner was as delicious — we all had steaks and shared several tasty side dishes. Our server Gabby was super patient and took great care of us.

Food was subpar to say the least. Got a gift card for a trip here and was wildly disappointed that when I didn’t use the full gift card amount I would lose the rest completely.

Nice evening celebrating a birthday. Ordered Tomahawk Tuesday and found it so delicious and plentiful.

Don’t waste your money on the chef’s feature Wagyu steak. A high priced slab of meat that was full of gristle. I have never had a good steakhouse experience “upgrading” the regular cut to a dry aged or Wagyu cut. The server suggested the Wagyu cut. Never again.

My wife’s regular cut of ribeye was fine.

Delightful dinner, excellent service (thanks, Kim!), and quiet atmosphere. It's nice to have a place with great food and good wine selections that stays open a little later in RVA!!

Our favorite steakhouse in Richmond (or anywhere!). This is our go-to for date nights and special occasions: excellent food, impeccable service, and a fun atmosphere.

Wonderful from start to finish- very accomodating!

The service and ambiance was superb. I ordered the petite filet with lump crab meat and was disappointed at the small amount of lump crab meat. Although it was delicious the portion was a small spoonful and definitely expected a bit more. Overall we had a pleasant evening as this was a business meeting/dinner.
