Amazingly wonderful evening. The staff, from the young man at the door as we approached, to our last goodbye, were superbly trained and professional. The "manager" overseeing the dining area was very attentive to his customers. We are not as important as we were treated.
The food was cooked and spiced to perfection. Sea Scallop Special and Chilean Sea Bass entrees were fantastic. Wine List; one of the best we've seen. The onion ring side could have been my entree. The Turtle Pie was just spectacular. We are normally hard to please and critical of restaurants. This one won the gold medal. I cannot suggest a single improvement.
For an appetizer we had Amazing Crab Cakes. They were the best we ever had. We had a filet and a 14oz Rib eye steak, both steaks were extremely tasty along with the Fleming potatoes. Definitely will go back on our next visit to the desert.
Took great of us on a busy Saint Patty's day evening. Better then expected.
Always enjoy our dinner experience at Fleming’s, great food and wonderful service.
Food delicious! A little on the noisy side...
Excellent server!!! But 2 dogs???
We had a $50gift card we got in the mail. We also got an email saying their 3 course price fixe dinner was good seven nights of the week rather than just Monday as originally announced. When we got to the restaurant we were told it was only good for an appetizer, not dessert. However the email said nothing about tat. A manager finally agreed to the substitution. The food was excellent.
There were a few mistakes howver, the flavor and quality of the food made up for it.
Flemings is a fine restaurant with good food and service. Their wine list is extensive and many bottles worth the price. Even though it is a steak house their other offerings are very good as well. My guest had the pork chop and he said it was the best he ever had.
Great food, service and we are always welcomed by the Manager Pat and Ast Manager Doug! Loyalty keeps me coming back! Pat and Doug understand what support and service to their staff and customers and it shows!
Everything was amazing!! One of our favorite places to eat when we visit!!
Amazing experience great service and excellent flavor!
Birthday dinner- great food! Service friendly.
Restaurant denied a reservation was made. A previous phone call confirmed the menu. The waitress informed us our selection was no longer on the menu. The manager was summoned and he said he would check on the misinformation and return. We never saw him again. An unpleasant evening. We won't be returning to what used to be one of our favorite restaurants.
OK steak and nice atmosphere. The service was poor--we had to wait 15-20 minutes for even the waitress to take a drink order. After that things moved along quicker, but the waitress seemed to be very uninterested in service--just going thru the motions.
One note- the French onion soup was the worst I have ever had. I don't believe that one could even call it soup and at $15 it was a poor joke.
If you want a good steak go to Ruth Chris or Mortons--never Flemings at the same price
My special occasion was my birthday with my fiancé.
The server did not even once nor the hostess acknowledge that it was my birthday. One of the reasons we picked flemings was because of there attention to detail and service sadly this was not the case.
After ordering drinks and finishing them before the food came out not once did the server ask would you like another drink nor did he suggestive sell items off the menu. For a high caliber steakhouse this was disappointing. The food was OK but the service was unpleasant. We ordered the tomahawk steak to share which was filling so we wanted to take some Togo asking the server to please save the bone for our dog. Sadly when we came home only the steak was present and the bone no where to be found. I will not be going back to this steakhouse as it was a disappointment!
Everything was wonderful, however they did forget my horse radish crust on my steak but I had them bring me some creamy horseradish which was fine… My husband ordered the lobster mac & cheese but was given the lobster mashed potatoes which are just delicious. We were there on a date night, we have been married 45 years and we enjoy getting out on a date night once in a while. At the end of the evening they brought us a small box with truffles to congratulate us on date night that was really sweet. One sour note had nothing to do with the restaurant parking is terrible
We've loved Flemings' food and service for many years. This time the menu seemed much reduced but we still found our favorites. As usual we requested an outside table because the noise level inside usually makes conversation difficult. We were very disappointed that the extremely loud "music" coming from across the plaza still made conversation difficult. It blasted continuously throughout dinner. I realize Flemings can't prevent the racket on the plaza, but they could 1) do something to dampen the noise level inside and 2) warn guests about the outside disturbance when they make a reservation. I didn't check whether or not I would recommend this restaurant to a friend because there are only two options. Mine response would be "yes, with caveats."
This was our 26th wedding anniversary. They did not disappoint us. We loved every minute and will definitely go back for another wonderful experience! Thank You! Nancy and Mickey Sholdar.
This is our favorite Fleming’s! Always friendly service and great food!
Both of our steaks were kind of chewy and didn’t taste like “prime meat”. Friend onion soup was salty. The restaurant needs updating. Carpeting was worn and old looking! Food was nothing special and was very overpriced. Nothing special!!!
Food and Service were outstanding. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a fabulous steak!!!
I was disappointed in the limited number of "better known, more popular wines" in their "by the glass" choices. Based on their advertising, I expected a much more interesting and varied list. Food and service, as always, does not disappoint.
Very good food. Had to ask for bread, re-fills, water. Service not as good as I expected. 40th anniversary and nothing much made of it by anyone.
On vacation and Fleming’s was recommended to us. Great recommendation
While my 14oz NY strip was just OK, (not thick enough, not charred enough) my fathers 16 oz prime aged NY strip was horrible, full of fat and impossible to chew, we sent it back! There was no problem, as they quickly told us they were taking it off the bill.
I was visiting my parents, and next time they want to go for a delicious steak we will go elsewhere....
Sorry to say
Birthday dinner food service was outstanding!
Service was good. Wine was great. Calamari was delicious. Filet was average. Lobster was perfect. Cheesecake was spot on. Overall it was a nice dinner.
It was loud. Very dark. Food was not great. Expensive for the quality. Service was bleh. Barely got 1 smile from our waitress. Will not be returning.
We have been coming to Fleming's for several years, but this time we were disappointed. I do usually order a steak, but I also like Sea Bass when it is good. I thought I would try something different and I ordered the Sea Bass, and it was the least flavorful Sea Bass that I have ever had.
I also get the Lobster Tempura, and this time there were only 3 instead of 4 and the price went up over $3.00. Less Lobster and higher price. The Wine list has also been decreased.
I am not sure what is going on, but we were very disappointed for the first time and it was a celebration for my husband's 70th birthday.
Valentine’s Day, for how busy it was they did a great job
Service and food were good. Didn’t get seated in the main dining room☹️
How can one say better than excellent if you are a steak lover.
For Valentines Day, I took my bride of 49 years to Fleming’s for a celebration. Much to my surprise, though I made the reservation weeks in advance, we were seated in a back room dining room, away from any Fleming’s atmosphere at all. BORING!!! I will not make that mistake again for a special occasion.
Food was great
We had Valentine’s dinner at Fleming’s and really enjoyed our dinner and waiter.
We were very disappointed with this Flemings. We eat at the one in our home town often and are accustomed to nicely set tables and quiet date-like ambiance plus well prepared food. Looking for a relaxing date night we arrived at this restaurant at 6:45 pm. The lights in the restaurant were at a high beam & the table was empty except silverware that looked like it had been dumped on the table at every angle and a napkin. Our server was nice but not quite to the level of knowledge about the menu & drinks that you expect in a nicer restaurant. We each had a salad which looked and tasted like an out of the bag mix. We then each had 8 oz filets and crab legs. The crab legs were awful. They tasted like frozen crab legs that had been dunked in boiling water. Not a fresh caught catch for sure. The steaks were good but while both had been ordered medium rare one came that way and the other was well into medium well. I only ate half of my steak and asked for the other half to be wrapped to take home. We also got a piece of carrot cake to take home. When we got home they had failed to wrap my steak and send it home. Total bill was $159 for 2 people. The price is what we expected. The quality and service was not. Very disappointed in this place. Will not go back.
Lived in La Quinta full-time for 13 years, finally decided to try Fleming’s for the first time. Big mistake. Took visiting family for dinner (party of six). Service was terrible. Had to flag people down to ask for a waiter. We’re used to “Hi, my name is ____, I’ll be taking care of you. Here’s tonight’s specials...”. None of that. It seemed we had a different person serving us every time. Had to ask for bread at the table, had to find someone who could take our drink order (which they got wrong). We were seated at 6:30. It was 8:00 when our food finally arrived. For a party of six with cocktails and several bottles of wine, this was unacceptable. After apologizing to our relatives, we promised ourselves to stay with LG’s and Morten’s.
We've visited this traditional steak house a few times when in the Palm Desert area. The steaks are awesome, though generally everything is a la carte. There was a $49 filet and lobster special, plus desert that we took advantage of, which was better than usual pricing. Everything was top notch, although what you would expect from a fine dining steak place.
All great and made that way by Jenny our server. High energy but attentive at the same time
Very nice atmosphere with nice decor. The service was great and attentive. The steaks were prepared perfectly and were flavorful. We had the mushroom ravioli and it was excellent. Had a number of other items no the menu the look great too. Wine list was good and nicely divided into categories depending on your taste so if you didn't know a lot about wine you could select a good one. Would absolutely return here.
