Birthday dinner food service was outstanding!
Service was good. Wine was great. Calamari was delicious. Filet was average. Lobster was perfect. Cheesecake was spot on. Overall it was a nice dinner.
It was loud. Very dark. Food was not great. Expensive for the quality. Service was bleh. Barely got 1 smile from our waitress. Will not be returning.
We have been coming to Fleming's for several years, but this time we were disappointed. I do usually order a steak, but I also like Sea Bass when it is good. I thought I would try something different and I ordered the Sea Bass, and it was the least flavorful Sea Bass that I have ever had.
I also get the Lobster Tempura, and this time there were only 3 instead of 4 and the price went up over $3.00. Less Lobster and higher price. The Wine list has also been decreased.
I am not sure what is going on, but we were very disappointed for the first time and it was a celebration for my husband's 70th birthday.
Valentine’s Day, for how busy it was they did a great job
Service and food were good. Didn’t get seated in the main dining room☹️
How can one say better than excellent if you are a steak lover.
For Valentines Day, I took my bride of 49 years to Fleming’s for a celebration. Much to my surprise, though I made the reservation weeks in advance, we were seated in a back room dining room, away from any Fleming’s atmosphere at all. BORING!!! I will not make that mistake again for a special occasion.
Food was great
We had Valentine’s dinner at Fleming’s and really enjoyed our dinner and waiter.
We were very disappointed with this Flemings. We eat at the one in our home town often and are accustomed to nicely set tables and quiet date-like ambiance plus well prepared food. Looking for a relaxing date night we arrived at this restaurant at 6:45 pm. The lights in the restaurant were at a high beam & the table was empty except silverware that looked like it had been dumped on the table at every angle and a napkin. Our server was nice but not quite to the level of knowledge about the menu & drinks that you expect in a nicer restaurant. We each had a salad which looked and tasted like an out of the bag mix. We then each had 8 oz filets and crab legs. The crab legs were awful. They tasted like frozen crab legs that had been dunked in boiling water. Not a fresh caught catch for sure. The steaks were good but while both had been ordered medium rare one came that way and the other was well into medium well. I only ate half of my steak and asked for the other half to be wrapped to take home. We also got a piece of carrot cake to take home. When we got home they had failed to wrap my steak and send it home. Total bill was $159 for 2 people. The price is what we expected. The quality and service was not. Very disappointed in this place. Will not go back.
Lived in La Quinta full-time for 13 years, finally decided to try Fleming’s for the first time. Big mistake. Took visiting family for dinner (party of six). Service was terrible. Had to flag people down to ask for a waiter. We’re used to “Hi, my name is ____, I’ll be taking care of you. Here’s tonight’s specials...”. None of that. It seemed we had a different person serving us every time. Had to ask for bread at the table, had to find someone who could take our drink order (which they got wrong). We were seated at 6:30. It was 8:00 when our food finally arrived. For a party of six with cocktails and several bottles of wine, this was unacceptable. After apologizing to our relatives, we promised ourselves to stay with LG’s and Morten’s.
We've visited this traditional steak house a few times when in the Palm Desert area. The steaks are awesome, though generally everything is a la carte. There was a $49 filet and lobster special, plus desert that we took advantage of, which was better than usual pricing. Everything was top notch, although what you would expect from a fine dining steak place.
All great and made that way by Jenny our server. High energy but attentive at the same time
Very nice atmosphere with nice decor. The service was great and attentive. The steaks were prepared perfectly and were flavorful. We had the mushroom ravioli and it was excellent. Had a number of other items no the menu the look great too. Wine list was good and nicely divided into categories depending on your taste so if you didn't know a lot about wine you could select a good one. Would absolutely return here.
We have been there many times and always enjoy the food. We take in there happy hour and enjoy the food and drinks. the lounge is a little small and always full a little more room would be fine. the resturant is very large and very nice.
We came for our 30th wedding anniversary. Enjoyed the evening Service was excellent and the food delicious. I had the dry aged rib eye. Great taste. I highly recommend F lemmings
Their side room where we were seated was not typical of a good steakhouse and service lagged at times. People pleased with food in general but my bone in filet was not special at all
Excellent food, atmosphere, and service.
NY steak was not as tender as in the past. disappointing.
The value of the entire meal was fine. I expected more than just one crab leg in the special. When my meal came out wrong, they didn't offer to take my husband's back and keep under the warmer until my order was corrected and brought back. Needless to say his meal got a little colder than it should. My water glass was not being filled at a timely manner. That was unusual. I had to ask for lemons for my water three times. Other than that, it was great.
Everything about this restaurant was excellent
Went for a special retirement dinner and Mo, our server was great along with a wonderful visit from the Manager James. Thanks my making my evening extra special! :-)
Our meals were outstanding! I ordered the petite filet and my husband ordered the lamb chops. Both were prepared exactly as ordered. Our service on the other hand was not the best. It was not a busy evening. Our dished were cleared long after we finished eating and our drink glasses were never picked up. We paid the bill with gift cards and the waiter only applied one, said she didn’t see the other one! We will return as we like dining at Fleming’s and hope for better service the next time.
Fleming’s never disappoints. Ribeye was excellent along with Cesar salad and onion rings. Always enjoy going here.
Service was great and the food was good. Extremely overpriced for beef that is NOT Prime.
Horrible!!! Worst New Years Eve celebration dinner i have experienced in years. We had high expectations, left very disappointed. Bad service, bad and overpriced food that was of very poor quality, value was sub-par in every way. I rarely go to Fleming’s, but often to Ruth’s Chris or Capital Grille to enjoy fine steaks and accompaniments. Fleming’s will not be on my list in the future. I regret having decided to give it another shot on such an important and memorable night as New Years represented for us. Total disappointment!!!
Didn’t seat our party until 8:05 pm (vs 7:30 reservation); salads took 70 minutes to finally be served; main courses showed up 70 minutes after that. “Hostess” was surly, and told us that we should just wait for our table (in silence) ... that’s what others would do. Well, they won’t have me or my family/friends to disappoint ever again.
We were there on New Years Eve. The service and food were exceptional even though they were super busy. It made the evening very special.
