Fleming's Steakhouse - Radnor Ratings and Reviews
Atmosphere is lovely. Service was attentive but not over the top. Food was tasty. However portions were small for the price that they charge for everything. Definitely a special occasion restaurant unless you don't mind paying $45 for a piece of salmon that you can get at the market for $7.00.
We had an excellent mecebinf at Flemmings. It was a birthday celebration and Emily set up a nice table with roses and our requested waiter Marcelo. Excellent salads and steaks around all cooked as ordered and accompanied by a variety of sides all delicious. Service was perfect. Food was all very tasty and followed by a few chocolate lava cakes. A nice matching of wines and a few coffees topped off a perfect evening.
My wife and I dined for our anniversary here last evening. Every part of the whole experience was wonderful. The food was outstanding as well as the service. We noted it was our anniversary on OpenTable when we made the reservation. Earlier this week the hostess called me to see if anything special was needed. Then when we arrived our table had some cute decorations and a card saying happy anniversary. We were treated to some complimentary champagne and truffles for dessert. They really went above and beyond to make our wedding anniversary memorable. With service like that we will surely be back for other special occasions.
Have been to all of the popular chain steak houses CG, Sullivan’s, Chicago Chop House, Ruth Chris and Morton’s by far Fleming’s was most dissapointing steak we have had in both Med and MW. Too dry , not even somewhat moist difficult to eat and at the premium price ! We will not be back.
Much improved steaks since our last few visits. Steaks had been trending smaller and less prime, but these were back to the old quality cuts, thicker & higher quality. The lobster was bigger too as recent ones have looked more like jumbo shrimp. Good to see Flemings back on track. Still should be priced a bit cheaper than Del Friscos & Capital Grill which offer a higher quality meal overall.
I’ve been to Flemings a number of times, now I’m done! I felt totally taken advantage of when our bill came and my wife’s dinner was $85. When a price is marketed MP, the waiter should tell you if something is way over the average steak price of $55. Her mediocre crab legs were both special. I expect more from this place and can’t ever see myself returning.
We were a party of seven. The service started off slow. We waited a long time for the initial cocktail, and for refills. Didn’t understand when someone in our party ordered a makers mark and ginger and it came out looking like a whiskey sour. We were told they use a syrup. Really? Buy a case of Canada Dry. Food was very good. The chocolate lava cake was fantastic.
First time in a restaurant for Thanksgiving, pleasantly surprised! The choices of turkey or steak was great, the filet was welcome.
All the food was enjoyed by most of us..
I didn’t like the dessert choices, carrot cake & pumpkin cheese cake , both seasonal are not liked by all, would have liked a plain choice or ice cream.
Fleming’s was able to manage all the many tables & still serve good food.
