Honestly it was insulting that I received such an undercooked fatty steak. It was a $90 Tomahawk not only was it the worst I’ve ever had it was probably the worst steak I’ve been served in any restaurant including Filiberto’s at 2am when they’re getting rid of the grizzly stuff. We eat out steak 2-3 times a week and this was head and shoulders the worst steak I’ve ever had. The manager tried to make it nice but after asking for well done and the waiter trying to sell me on a less cooked or a different steak I said as long as it takes 30, 40 minutes whatever. When they served it it was so undercooked and fatty that you could see it was at least 30-40% fat and blood red where the steak broke apart. Upon cutting in itvwas at least 50% fat and med rare to medium. They offered to replace the steak and another 30 min and that’s what I did and took home because we’d been there a very long time. People had came and left after we started eating and before our desert. Mainly insulting because anyone who touched the steak from the cook to the waiter should’ve said “nope I would never serve this. “ it was that bad. I still feel insulted.
Meal was very good. It was all really good and all 3 of us loved the side dish of Lobster mac and cheese and carrot cake. I would recommend.
We are big fans of the Peoria location. We usually have dinner here and thought we would try the lunch for a change. We were seated at exactly 1 o’clock and we were served water about 5 minutes later. Our waiter arrived about 10 minutes later which is understandable because the four other occupied tables in the restaurant and a small gathering in one of the side rooms kept the ten or so wait staff busy. Our salads arrived at approximately 1:45 and looked thrown together and looked as though they had been sitting awhile. Our filets arrived around 2:10is. They were very flat and pale looking not the usual thicker rounded which made me question the actual cut. It tasted fine but was just off a little bit and didn’t have the seat on the outside. It was just ok not the steak I look forward too. I was starving at this point so I ate it. The potatoes were good and the manager gave us some creamed spinach which my wife said was good.
When the bill arrived our waiter said that the manager comped one of the meals because of our long wait. I probably won’t go back for lunch but will try dinner again.
Fabulous once again. Meghan was our server and we’ll be asking for her again. Great dining experience in every way.
We went before the Trans Siberian Orchestra. We love Fleming’s . The food is always good. I did skip the steak this time and decided on the chicken, just trying to limit red meat. The filets my family ordered were divine as usual. But the chicken was dry and way too salty. We will be back, I will just have to stick with beef. Restaurant is always a little loud. But they were busy, so that’s a good thing.
Was awesome the aged rib eye was the best I’ve ever had!
Would highly recommend it.
Went for thanksgiving dinner. At 6:30 they were out of stuffing, sweet potato’s, and apple crisp. Even the cocktails were prepared incorrectly. We were rushed through our service like there was a train to catch! Never again!
Small portions. Had the beef. It was so so. Glaze was inedible must’ve been the wine in it not sure. Very noisy. Service wasn’t good. Waited long periods of time for beverages. Green beans were awful. Sweet potatoes were good. Won’t do it again. Litchfields will get out business next year again.
Fleming’s never disappoints. Food and service are always outstanding.
Always great service, delicious food prepared as we like it.
Had a great time and the food and service were excellent This is a great place to dine for a special occasion
Service was excellent and made an exquisite meal that much more delightful. Thank you for a great night out!
We were a party of four and had an amazing experience here. We made reservations on open table for 7 pm but arrived 30 mins early. Manager accommodated us early despite the place being packed. Food is definitely shareable as the portions are huge. We started with the lobster bisque soup (one serving plenty for 2 people) followed by had the bone in ribeye with shrimp diablo over the top, with shareable sides (family style) of lobster Mac, carrots, and Fleming's potatoes. Our waiter, Tommy, was awesome and patient answering all our questions and making great recommendations when asked. The steak was cooked to perfection. The sides were awesome. Specialty drinks very good and great wine selection. For dessert we tried the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake and creme brûlée. Both were awesome although I prefer my brûlée warm and this was not. We will definitely return.
Quite disappointed in Flemings in Peoria this time. We've been there about seven times in the last many years, and always had a great experience. Not so on Friday, November 16th. Here are the reasons why:
1. My favorite dish--the brie cheese with apples and walnuts in a crust, is no longer on the menu. I always looked forward to that yummy item, but you no longer offer it. Why not?
2. Fleming's used to include two or three flavored butters with the bread serving--for no charge. We were served only regular butter with the bread, and had to ask for a second basket, even though our first one was finished.
3. Including a $50 tip, our bill came to $340! We ordered no dessert, only three side and three salads, four rather small steaks, and NO alcohol at all. Sorry, but our meals were not worth that amount of money!
4. My husband and I will not be back.
Excellent server Brad was grest
I will have to give props to the "Beef Flemington's appetizer. Flaky pastry, tender beef and mushrooms, packed with a tremendous amount of flavor. I also enjoyed the heirloom carrots and the Fleming's Potatoes. My only reluctance to return except for very special occasions is that the overall cost seems to be pretty outlandish. I don't mind the prices of the sides and desserts, but I think that the prices for entrees are double what they ought to be, especially considering that everything is ordered al a carte, nothing is included with the entree.
Best dinner we've had since we went to Fleming's in Orlando last February. The steak was amazing.
My wife and I enjoy Flemings. The food is always very good and the service is excellent
I was on business travel in Glendale. The Peoria Flemings was very good. I live in LA and i go to Flemings often. Flemings food and service is consistently good
BEEF TENDERLOIN WAS MELT IN YOUR MOUTH. JUST ENOUGH FOOD WITHOUT BEING UNCOMFORTABLE. CARROT CAKE IS ALWAYS YUMMY. WE ALWAYS VISIT HERE FOR ANNIVERSARIES AND BIRTHDAYS.
Excellent service, delicious food. Not rushed. Recommend making reservation. Busy most times we have been there.
We're regular customers of Fleming and usually have great service and good food. However, this time the size of the shrimp in the shrimp cocktail has been reduced but not the price. We received truffles after the meal. However, when we opened them when we got home they looked like they were melted or crushed. Definitely not very appealing.
Our waitress seemed preoccupied.. forgot things we asked for..never did get them . Just little things.
Great food and service but they need to have a professional architecture firm design in some acoustic deadening materials. The place bounces sound so drastically that having a intamment conversation is impossible. You either have to practically yell at your dinner partner for them to hear you or skip talking all together. Not good!
Service was excellent and food was outstanding, I would recommend Fleming’s!
Great food and staff.
Went for our anniversary, staff was great, very courteous, and on the ball. The food was amazing! Will recommend any chance we get. Loved our experience at Fleming's.
Great staff great food can’t wait to go back,We go there as often as we can, we are never disappointed
Service was slow. Steaks were great cuts but extremely salty.
Excellent food and service.
Thanks to Steve and his excellent service, we had a wonderful wedding anniversary celebration.
Not a fine dining experience.....a step up from black angus but deifinatly not a capital grill, dominiks, arrowhead grill, steak 44, or even a ruth crisp...
We always ask for Terry. She provides excellent service to us and treats us special. Everything was perfect!
This was our second time at a Fleming’s. The first, in another city, was a disappointment, but this one more than met our expectations. My wife had the sea bass and loved it. I had the special: filet mignonette, crab, and scallops. They were out of scallops and substituted shrimp Diablo, which was excellent. The fillet was very tender.
Very good meal. Attentive service. I do believe the baked potatoe I was served was either very over cooked or a left over from the night before. The potatoe was ok in flavor but was rather gummy in texture
Fabulous food and service!
Steven provided excellent service and everyone even up to a manager was aware that it was a birthday celebration and he came by to check in on us. The guest of honor was given a signed card from the staff and the dessert was specially decorated. The food was delicious! We enjoyed the evening very much. Thank you for helping us make it a nice occasion.
We never regret dining at Fleming’s. Food excellent and wine list exceptional
Everything was good except the carrots were a little over done. I think next time I would send them back.
