Fleming's Steakhouse - Orlando Ratings and Reviews
This is lovely steakhouse, wonderful service. The food and wine were great - don't get me wrong, but compared to other steakhouses we recently visited, the steak just lacked flavor or something. I don't know. We'd return and may try a different cut . Excellent service. Lots of fun
The steaks that my sons had were tough and had little flavor. It took FOREVER to get the entire meal served and done -- and they were not busy. Overall comment from everyone that attended was that it was ok, but they would have rather gone to Ruth Chris or DelFriscos.
Very disappointed. We ordered their signature potato au gratin dish, the potatoes were not cooked all the way. One of the steaks we ordered was supposed to be medium, it was well done. The dish our bread was served on had a half a piece of chocolate cake stuck to it, making our table cloth dirty and sticky ( no offer to change cloth) not to mention made us question overall cleanliness, it was a big piece of cake, should not have been hard to miss!
The onion soup was fair but nothing special for the price. I ordered an 8oz filet and my husband, who was celebrating his 67th birthday ordered the 12oz filet. We confirmed this with the waiter. Two 8oz filets were delivered by another server. They initially took my husband's dinner back. About 10 minutes later they redelivered it and said they were preparing a 2nd 8oz filet for him which wasn't delivered for another 10 minutes. At that point he didnt feel like eating it. The "bearnaise" sauce was very sad and had no detectable tarragon, which is the signature spice for bearnaise. We ordered the carrot cake for dessert and it wasn't even as good as Publix's. No drinks, just club soda, no salads, one shared vegetable, one shared dessert for $160. What a terrible disappointment. This was to be a "once in a lifetime" very special occasion for a fixed income couple that wad nothing less than a disaster.
Excellent food. Really really good! The reception is of a very low level though. If you make a reservation 5 weeks in advance and confirm it on the day of your dinner, you may normally expect to be seated fast, not 30 min after the confirmed time. And usually you expect the restaurant manager to be polite, not like the guy they have at this location. Other than that, once again, the food is great.
We took some out-of-town family for dinner the week after Christmas. We were seated right away and our server, Courtney, was terrific. Right away, we noticed that we were seated right under an air vent and we were freezing! We told Courtney and she spoke to the manager who quickly offered to seat us elsewhere. Everyone was so nice. The dinner was impeccable as always and we also had great cocktails and wine. Our steaks were cooked exactly to order and my daughter LOVED her salmon. We even splurged for desserts!! Highly recommend Fleming's for any special occasion dinner!!
Excellent steaks/sides, excellent service (thank you Billy). We ordered a few of their cocktails and all were well made and definitely worth the $ (Manhatten, Old fashioned, Bourbon Basil). I did a holiday menu and the lobster bisque was excellent, then I did an upsized 12oz filet with the lobster tail. Fantastic, both prepared perfectly with great flavor. The set preparation included some mushrooms under the steak and a special salt on the side and both were well matched. Dessert was butter cake that was fantastic and took a carrot cake to go that was still moist and excellent a day later. Again the service was excellent with our server Billy doing the perfect job of checking on us and certainly giving good recommendations. We have been to literally every major chain of steak houses and fantastic independents between living in Chicago for years and now Orlando and our experience this past weekend was near the top of the list for food/service and certainly value.
I usually love going to Fleming’s. Feel very comfortable there and the beef is great. This visit was disappointing. I ordered surf and turf. My lobster tail was huge, but was undercooked and tasteless. The Brussels sprouts were terrible. My dessert was also disappointing. I wonder if the regular chef was off because the meal sure was.
Food was above average.....great!
Waiter was fantastic...helpful...honest...proud to work for Flemmings (that meant the mostmost tolme. Best lobster and steak (filet) on Sand Lake Road. The lobster was the treat of the night. Thanks for a VALUE meal and comfort setting.

This is second visit in two months and the food was wonderful. The steaks are great. I had a rib eye and the taste was the best like butter. Get the Burrata its one of the best around. Service this time around did not compare to last month, a different server he was poor on refills and cleaning up after each course.
We have started a tradition of going out for our Thanksgiving meal. My husband ordered from the traditional thanksgiving menu and I ordered from the regular menu. This was our first time at Fleming's and we were so impressed. The food was incredible! (I would return just for the brussel spouts! The portion sizes were generous, we brought home leftovers that were great warmed up the next day. Our waiter (Curtis) was warm and attentive as were all of the staff. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Fleming's!
