We really enjoy Fleming’s, when we lived in the desert, Rancho Mirage was our choice, now we’re in O.C. so Newport Fashion island is our choice. Always crowded it seems, but that’s a good thing, right?

Our anniversary meal was great with impeccable service. The manager came, Rodrigo came over to greet us which represents exceptional customer service. Our servers Lindzie and Carlos went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant evening. Carlos came by to check up on us and was sweet enough to wish us a Happy Anniversary. Overall, it was a great night out and we’d definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends. See you soon!

When we entered the restaurant they could not find our reservations, after a few minutes they found it. I had requested Mehgan as our server but they told me she didn't have any tables available. After a bit of discussion they said they could accommodate us. It seemed they never looked at my request.

Mehgan is such a wonderful server and we request her every time we go. She is very attentive and has such a wonderful smile and pleasant personality. Please tell her thank you from us.

Had a burger for lunch - cooked absolutely perfectly (medium rare). The carrot cake for dessert was okay - don’t really think it was worth $13. Service was very attentive.

Wonderful evening. Took advantage of their steak and lobster special- great food and value. Celebrated a birthday and was pleasantly surprised to receive a small gift wrapped box with truffles!!!
What a treat instead of a special dessert from the menu.
Will definitely return- first trip to this location for dinner.
Recently went for lunch also. Excellent lunch menu too!

My wife and I have been to Flemings numerous times for special occasions and their service is top notch. The food is great and they have a large wine selection. The only complaint I have is that on our last visit my steak wasn't prepared as ordered. I ordered a fillet mignon medium rare. Part of my steak was more medium than medium rare. The part that was medium rare was delicious. I had a glass of the Catena and It was excellent. Flemings is still one of our favorites.

After accessing Open table hundreds of times we finally changed our reservation from 8 to 6:30 only to find the restaurant mostly empty? They first tried to sit us in a broom closet of a dinining room, but my wife wasn't having any of it! She had the Valentines special 4 course (filet and shrimp). I had the 12 oz filet. She enjoyed her meal, I thought my creamed spinach had way to much cayenne pepper and my bernaise sauce was very runny. Wasn't very impressed for a first time visit. Oh well.....

As always we loved our meal. Onions rings, Wedge and Filet with Fleming’s potatoes. We were horrified to find out that the wonderful butters and bread that really Set Fleming’s apart are off the menu. Boring dry bread and plain butter. What the heck ?? Manager said people were using it as an appetizer. Fine. Charge for it. But why take it off the menu. Something that made he meal extraordinary take. Off made it much more ordinary. I was really disappointed . Bring it back please. Be original. You change 11 dollars for 5 onion rings. I pay it because they are the best and worth the money. I would happily pay for the infused butters for the bread.

There are a few special dishes that Fleming's does well at cooking. The seared tuna appetizer is a hit, but the bread is decent, they cook the sea bass well but the miso is way too salty that you can't taste the flavor of the fish or anything else, the steak is decent but still tough, the potatoes are rubbery and then no flavor inside, the menu needs to change more frequently. It has potential to be more than a chain with mediocre high priced food. Keep trying! The remodel is much brighter and inviting.

Valentine’s Day. Made a reservation several weeks in advance, asked for a romantic table and we were seated in the middle of the dining room on the smallest table available. HORRIBLE! There were several nice romantic tables available that we walked right by. That part of the date was very disappointing.

Terrific service. Took my girlfriend for Valentine's day they made the atmosphere so we could focus on one another. The staff is very knowledgeable. The only small hiccup was the floor by the main entrance was wet and almost caused an accident.

My wife and I celebrated Valentine's Day early. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The sweet chili calamari appetizer was suggested by the wait staff and it was excellent. We would definitely return.

We had a reservation and checked in 30 minutes early. We grabbed a drink at the bar and when we got called for our table we were taken downstairs to the wine room. Basically it was a basement/ banquet room. It was very quiet and had no ambience at all. I was very disappointed as we did not get to enjoy the vibe of the restaurant. Not sure we will be returning.

Flemmings is one of our go-to favorites for date night. Food is always great, fresh and full of flavor. Very high quality steaks and love the salads and Flemmings Potatoes. My husbands favorites are the onion rings and cheesecake. I was extremely disappointed that they changed their bread and butter. The flavored butters were something we always looked forward to. The manager said they changed to plain butter because people were using it for an appetizer. So great...fine....charge me for it but BRING IT BACK!!!!!! It was one of the things that distinguished the experience.

It was a fairly okay evening, but not worth the $$ spent there. We had a server whom we struggled to understand (language barrier), his accent was way too thick. And at some point, he didn't get our order for our chocolate souffle correct. He brought 1 instead of 2......we weren't going to wait another extended time for it to be baked for us.
Then, one of our prime aged rib eye was not correctly cooked at the right temperature requested, instead of medium rare , it was medium. We don't like to send things back to the chef, unless it is completely inedible. Which is why I rated Flemings, okay......with the exception of the ambiance. By the way, why is it necessary to charge for valet when we are eating at a premium price at the restaurant?
