great food, consistent for many years... i always enjoy going to Flemings
The food was fantastic! So good. Service was friendly and attentive, although we had two different waitresses at one point so it was a bit confusing. The first server knew we were celebrating our anniversary, but the girl that took over for her did not, and never asked. I ordered the 3 course special which was a good deal, considering. Food is overall very expensive, and it's a bummer you have to pay for sides. Aside from the steep bill, this was the best meal we've had in awhile!
I really enjoy the food!!
The lava cake was amazing
Asked for a medium rare ribeye. Got a well-done ribeye. No marbling in the ribeye - just some fat on the outside. I've gotten better ribeyes at Trader Joe's.
Asked for bernaise sauce and creamed horseradish sauce on the side. Got compound butters.
This was by far the best tomahawk we’ve had in a while. However, I wish Flemings would get rid of the box of chocolates, as they always end up in the trash. Give a gift that keeps giving, like dessert or back to the gift card. I also ask that the company would bring back Coconut Tears and the Romance drink. We’ve been waiting well over 15 years of constant changing menus that bounce back and forth but have not brought back their top signature beverages. Email this to corporate.
Love the staff between , DC Ranch, Newport Beach and Redondo
My prime aged ribeye was overcooked. I asked for
Love the food and the service. Pricey but worth it.
Food was great but service lacked compared to other high end steak houses e.g. Mastro’s and Ruth Chris
Terrible service and food took more than 1 hour to receive.
This was rough. Two of us had severely undercooked steaks....at a steakhouse. Service was first rate. Expect so much more from the food at that price point.
Service was very slow server came to table only when called , food arrived cold and our drinks ran out while waiting.. Very disappointed with this visit as it was Mother’s Day..
Loved our anniversary dinner!! Staff was wonderful!!
The service was good and the food average. Expensive restaurant with a limited menu.
The service was good, but the food not so much and we waited forever in between our salads and steaks. Prices are highest in Newport Beach so food quality should match.
Wine corkage fee of $25 is too expensive considering some fine restaurants offer it for free
We have not been to Flemings since they did the remodel. We were quite pleasantly surprise. The food and service were both outstanding.
Disappointed in the steak flavor.
Also, served the steak so quickly that we didn't finish our salads.
The food was amazing, the service was great. It was a great place to spend our anniversary. It’s just expensive, but it’s a steakhouse so you kind of expect that. It was good for us and celebrating, but it was too much for us to do on a regular basis... but the bone in ribeye was by far the best we have ever had.
the meal took way too long and they must have changed servers but no-one informed us. i would rather go to another prominent steakhouse.
Excellent service and the food was delicious! My only complaint would be seating- I am 8 mos pregnant and we were seated downstairs which was a bit difficult getting up and down.
Steaks and sides were delicious. Wine and beer selection was very good.
Service was great, food was amazing & our server had a great personality
Celebrating a 70th Birthday was a perfect venue at Fleming’s. The drinks, food and service was excellent!
Our overall experience was great! The service and food were excellent, the restaurant has a nice ambiance and great location with plenty of parking. There were two things that made us take one star off. The first, while placing the reservation I requested quiet table as my husband has difficulty hearing. We were placed right by the entrance with the most traffic which was not the best choice. Second, we ordered our filets medium rare plus, but when they arrived, they were very much on the rare side. A nice lady (not sure if she was part of the management) noticed immediately and offered us to have them cooked some more. She handled it swiftly and professionally and that was wonderful. Immediately after, our server came by our table and asked if she could offer us an extra side as a makeup for the undercooked filets. We gladly accepted and thought “what a nice gesture.” However, when the bill arrived, we were charged for the side order. We let it be, but were little disappointed. Besides these two mishaps we still had a wonderful time and enjoyed the overall experience.
Everything was great.
They have some good three course specials, which are good values. Otherwise ala carte and pretty expensive. I had the Sunday Table special - yes, Fleming's is a steak house - but the standouts for me were the things I got with my meat and potatoes. The "modern" Caesar salad is a must have! The key lime pie may be the best I've had. The roasted tenderloin over mashed had a little glaze but wasn't really all that flavorful. I'm sure their more pricey steaks are better. Service was great once she decided to take our order, ten minutes after pouring my wine. Unusual that nobody came around with a pepper mill for the salad, but it was still really outstanding.
the food is always the bests and the noise level was great, able to talk to other people at the restaurant
Chilean sea bass was fAntastic ! Great martini
We were a little disappointed this time. The bread basket contained cold and hard sour dough bread that had no flavor. It was very boring and not a great start to our meal. The calamari was great! The Brussel sprouts were ok. They served it in a small bowl with a spoon in it that took up half the bowl. When u lifted the spoon out there was nothing underneath and a half empty bowl. Only a handful of sprouts surrounding the spoon. Weird. The burgers were very good. The tomato slices on my plate included the end piece that u are supposed to throw away. We couldn’t eat the fries because they were drenched in salt. Cocktails were ok. My husband ordered a dirty martini. It wasn’t dirty so they brought the juice separately. He said olive without blue cheese and the olive HAD the blue cheese in it. Not our favorite anymore. We had a gift card so we used it but we aren’t fans.
Although friends have eaten at the Flemings in Manhattan Beach, this was our first visit to any of the locations and we were slightly hesitant as it is quite pricey (and coming from West LA that's saying something!). We should not have worried as we had a GREAT experience - from the greeting to the table, from the service to the food - everything was first rate and stress-free. The service was professional but attentive and warm, Jennifer took care of us like we were her only table. The food came out quickly, was hot, prepared exactly as we requested (asking for a sauce on the side and no bacon in the brussel sprouts was no problem at all), and was delicious. We all tried each other's dishes and liked it all. The fish (salmon and chilean sea bass) was delicious and beautifully presented which is sometimes not guaranteed at a steak house. The waters and coffees were continually topped up , plates cleared, and extras wrapped up by several staff members. The desserts were SO good and the gift box of chocolates at the end was a lovely gesture. The patio ended up being a perfect spot - light, warm, and quiet (the interior seemed too dark, a little too loud, and a bit chilly when we walked through to the restrooms). All in all a very nice evening and we will definitely be back!
Wonderful food - best crab cakes! Service was great! They made a very special occasion even more special!
My brothers 60th birthday
We always have a great time when we go to Fleming’s. Phenomenal service you’d expect from a top tier restaurant and the food is fantastic. We love coming here for date night and celebrations.
It was great!
It was our anniversary, & Fleming’s did not disappoint. Service was perfect. Everyone who we dealt with wished us a happy anniversary. Our waiter (Jeff?) was on point with his recommendations, as well as service.
The food was incredible. Per Jeff’s recommendation, we started with the calamari which was amazing. It paired surprisingly well with a dirty gin martini I ordered (which was on point as well). My girlfriend & I split a bone-in ribeye that was cooked to perfection. The portion was perfect for the two of us. Jeff’s wine recommendation was spot on, & Fleming’s Old Fashioned was one of the best I’ve had so far. The desert took the cake (pun intended?). We ordered a lava cake, & when it came out the plate was decorated with “Happy Anniversary”, accompanied by Fleming’s logo.
Top to bottom, speaking for myself, this was the best dining experience I’ve had so far. The food was amazing, ambiance on point, & the service & hospitality was hard to beat.
Filet on fixed price menu was a good value. Excellent but side dish was flawed. See pic.
My California burger had good but not great taste, bun was nice but mix of mayo, Vegs and heat of meat made the bottom of the bun soft and almost inedible. Surprise for such a restaurant with iit’s reputation. Had better burgers at Farmer Boy’s or In N Out.
We had a wonderful time at Flemings. The food was delicious and the quality was great. Our waiter was very attentive and nice. He went out of his way to explain the aging process of the steaks.
The Carrot Cake served on Easter Sunday was not good.
Easter Dinner with my Family. Good Hot Food, Little Pricy but worth it
Holly was great! She took care of our family of 9 for Easter lunch like a pro! Thank you!
