Fleming's Steakhouse - Naples Ratings and Reviews
We went to Fleming's for Thanksgiving dinner. We probably should have known better than to go to a steak house for a turkey dinner. The lobster bisque was fantastic; it started downhill from there. The turkey was not very tasty, and was rather dry. The dressing had a sweet taste that was not good at all. Even the vegetables were not very tasty. At the close, dessert was very good.
Our service was excellent and the ambiance first rate.
My wife and I enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. I chose the traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings. My only critique would be the stuffing was a little 'gummy', not fluffy as I'm accustomed to. I wish the portion of cranberry had been a little larger too.
My wife chose the tenderloin. Though it was a bit undercooked for her liking, she enjoyed in nonetheless. Both desserts were delightful, and we especially loved the take home leftovers!
The service from valet, the moment we walked in and throughout our meal was outstanding. We ordered the ceasar salad, fillet, asparagus and mash potatoes. The salad was soggy, soaked in dressing with more cheese then romaine lettuce. While her fillet and the mash were excellent, mine was a little fatty. The asparagus was over cooked and tough. The lava cake was excellent and what the staff did for our occasion was wonderful. Even though the staff and service were outstanding, the food was not worth the high price.
We had a friendly greeting and were seated promptly. I asked for the quietest area and were put in a booth with that in mind. Greatly appreciated. The wine menu was extensive. Heavy emphasis on steak, as expected. Service was very good, but not overbearing. My wife and I both commented on the quality, seasoning of our steaks. Truly some of the best we have ever had! We also had carrot cake-super also. We'll be back for sure.
It was our 37th wedding anniversary and the attention to this milestone was very nice! My steak dinner was very good. However, the evening was ruined after my husband felt sick upon arriving home. He ordered the crab legs special for $83 and it was NOT fresh! The next day, the crab came up and it took him until the next evening to recover. This is appalling. We will never again order seafood at Fleming's!
Outstanding service, waiter was very attentive but not hovering. Prime rib was perfect, Fleming’s potatoes a little underdone, brusselsprouts very good. Lava cake was delicious as was the New York Cheesecake. Beautiful touches for our anniversary. Red rose on table, glass of very nice champagne and lovely box of truffles. The picture was a nice surprise. Would definitely recommend. Big thanks to our server Henri.
For the price, I expected more. I ordered a prime filet to be cooked rare. It was rare but II found an unusual situation, the meat was dry. Also, I did not like the heavy peppercress on the steak. On a very positive note, the onion soup was the best I've had.
We shared the steak and lobster special. It came with a salad (go for the Flemings salad- it's awesome!) and dessert. By adding a baked potato to what came with the special, it was more than enough for us to share. Unless one of you is a particularly big eater, it should suffice. What a wonderful dinner!
