Fleming's Steakhouse - Memphis Ratings and Reviews
Disappointing evening from beginning with hostess trying to seat us at table near kitchen when reservation over 1 week in advance requested booth to celebrate birthday with friends who had never dined at Fleming’s Memphis. Mixed drinks prepared incorrectly set the tone for a dismal dining experience that COULD NOT END SOON ENOUGH! Typically we only dine at Fleming’s Memphis on weeknights for no specific reason which clearly remains THE ONLY TIME to come to Fleming’s Memphis. Valet parking available every night of the year except tonight when parking lot is a SOLID SHEET OF ICE dangerous to diners due to no planning by Fleming’s Memphis management to clear the pavement for safety or apply salt to melt ice during the sunny day today. Dismal experience so poor that others who use OpenTable should avoid it with so many other enjoyable places to dine in Memphis
We celebrated the life of a very dear man whose funeral we had attended that day. He loved Fleming's--particularly the molten lava cake. He was a connoisseur of chocolate. He loved it in any form. The caption for the photo should be "Here's to you Uncle Lewie! Chocolate at its finest."
Our visit was fantastic and our food was delicious, as usual! We dined on the Steak & Lobster 3-Course Special and I truly can't think of a better deal for the money... each part of our meal was so good, I can't begin to name our favorite part. The service and friendliness of the staff is outstanding as well. I highly recommend!
The food was not hot when it was brought to the table. I could not eat the steak fast enough to
prevent it from getting cold. It was a little funny when the server warned us about the hot plates because they were not even warm.
Fleming’s as always was the perfect venue for a special celebration. The service was impeccable (thanks, Dean!) and the steaks and lobster were cooked to perfection. The truffles as a favor for the celebrant are always a special touch. I know that there are other steakhouses in the area, but we always choose Fleming’s for its fresh, delicious, and personal approach. We will go back soon!
Our first visit To Fleming’s was for New Years Eve. The staff handled the big crowd well. All of our food was excellent except one dessert “butter cake” that was not up to expectations. Overall a great evening that did not disappoint.
The food was excellent. The service was odd and uncomfortable. We enjoy attentive service but the waiter didn't leave the table for most of the evening. He hovered and interrupted conversation and the dining experience. I would not return to this restaurant if this is the experience.
Fleming's is the kind of place that makes you feel special. From the moment you park your car, Logan was valeting the night we were there, to the end of your meal. It is a great experience. Our interaction with Brett and Aubri, the managers made the evening even more special. Our server, Jeremy, has been serving us for a very long time and can pretty much do our ordering. If you have not been to Fleming's, do yourself a favor and enjoy great food with great people.
Our experience was amazing and we loved the atmosphere. The food was delicious and our waitress and waiter was very prompt. Yes, I would recommend this restaurant to more people; because it was suggested to us from previous visitors and they loved everything as well. Thank you all for my husband's b'day card and the dessert... We will get back!!!😀😀😀😀
The service was at the level of a fast food diner. I asked for "water, no ice" initially. But even with the first glass the waiter, Michael, forgot. Later, he filled the glass again with ice. I reminded him, and he brought a glass with no ice. Even later, he brought another glass with ice, and, again, I reminded him- no ice. Although he removed the Bread plates from the table as the entrees were about to be served, he left the bread basket on the table, even through dessert. The empty beer glass remained on the table through dessert, as well. The sea bass was good, but it was served with spinach and a very oily "sauce." The spinach was ruined by the "oily sauce." Will not return.
We came for our anniversary and as usual, Flemings exceeded our expectations with delicious food and great service. I can't say enough nice things about this restaurant. It has become one of my all-time favorite restaurants. The food is fantastic every time we eat here!
We could not have had a more amazing evening celebrating our 8th Anniversary! The staff went ABOVE and BEYOND making us feel special with helping us celebrate! Our server, Holly, took the VERY BEST care of us. We walked in to a gold confetti covered table and a Happy Anniversary card. When we received our dessert, it had a big sparkler in it. Holly even took our photo with the extravagant dessert. The food and wine were to die for! As we were leaving they gave us a copy of the photo they took in a celebratory frame and also gave us some house made chocolates. WHAT A PHENOMENAL NIGHT THANKS TO THE FOLKS AT FLEMING’S STEAKHOUSE!!!
The calamari was horrible. It had the taste of old oil. They need to address this. The Fleming’s Potatoes were undercooked and tough. The steak was subpar. The table wasn’t cleaned up before dessert. Crumbs just left in place. Disappointing for a $240 dinner.
