Fleming's Steakhouse - Memphis Ratings and Reviews
My husband and I ate at Fleming's on Friday 2/16. My husband and I got sick from the food. We called the restaurant and the person who answered the phone didn't show any concern. We spent $150 on this meal. This wasn't good service at all. I won't be going back and wouldn't recommend it to a friend.
A wonderful birthday evening. The pork belly appetizer was excellent. Its sauce and spice provided a perfect sweet-heat balance. The crab cakes were a little bland. The brussel sprouts and Fleming’s potatoes were great compliments to the prime filet and ribeye. The lava cake was a nice topper to the meal.
We were seated timely and our service was quite good.
The food and service was excellent! Michael was our server and took very good care of us during our dinner. We ordered the Maple Glazed Bacon for an appetizer which was very tasty. I had the Petit Filet and it was the best steak I’ve ever had! So good! We ended the evening with the Chocolate Lava cake and coffee. It was the perfect way to end the meal. I couldn’t recommend Fleming’s enough!
Disappointing evening from beginning with hostess trying to seat us at table near kitchen when reservation over 1 week in advance requested booth to celebrate birthday with friends who had never dined at Fleming’s Memphis. Mixed drinks prepared incorrectly set the tone for a dismal dining experience that COULD NOT END SOON ENOUGH! Typically we only dine at Fleming’s Memphis on weeknights for no specific reason which clearly remains THE ONLY TIME to come to Fleming’s Memphis. Valet parking available every night of the year except tonight when parking lot is a SOLID SHEET OF ICE dangerous to diners due to no planning by Fleming’s Memphis management to clear the pavement for safety or apply salt to melt ice during the sunny day today. Dismal experience so poor that others who use OpenTable should avoid it with so many other enjoyable places to dine in Memphis
It was our first time to dine here and the experience was truly memorable. Noah and the rest of the crew went above and beyond to make my birthday dinner date a very special one. I was welcomed with a nice birthday card, and was surprised with our picture on a souvenir frame - which to me was very wonderful. We ordered the Sweet Chile Calamari for our appetizer which was highly recommended by Noah - and it was delicious! Just the perfect softness, not too chewy. Even the coating is just right to add a bit of crunch. My SO had The New Wedge Salad and the Bone-In Filet Mignon which were simply heavenly. The steak was cooked to perfection - with the right spices and marinade. The salad was very refreshing. The steak and the salad were an excellent combination. I had the Chef’s Special for the night which was 2 grilled jumbo prawns and Prime Rib on a bed of green beans, and the Fleming’s Salad. I did not care much for my salad, it was too regular for me. But the prawns and prime rib were remarkable. Just perfect! To finish off, we ordered something light for dessert which was creme brûlée. I was delightfully surprised that it came on a plate with Happy Birthday written on it, a gold candle, and very cute sparklers! I thought that was a very nice end to conclude the night ...but wait! :) Noah handed me a box of truffles as a birthday gift from Fleming’s - which was a very nice touch to a very wonderful evening. Our first time here was truly memorable...and we will definitely come back. My sincerest thank you to Noah and the rest of the Fleming’s crew for such a beautiful dining experience.
We celebrated the life of a very dear man whose funeral we had attended that day. He loved Fleming's--particularly the molten lava cake. He was a connoisseur of chocolate. He loved it in any form. The caption for the photo should be "Here's to you Uncle Lewie! Chocolate at its finest."
Our visit was fantastic and our food was delicious, as usual! We dined on the Steak & Lobster 3-Course Special and I truly can't think of a better deal for the money... each part of our meal was so good, I can't begin to name our favorite part. The service and friendliness of the staff is outstanding as well. I highly recommend!
Fleming’s as always was the perfect venue for a special celebration. The service was impeccable (thanks, Dean!) and the steaks and lobster were cooked to perfection. The truffles as a favor for the celebrant are always a special touch. I know that there are other steakhouses in the area, but we always choose Fleming’s for its fresh, delicious, and personal approach. We will go back soon!
