This was my second time coming to a Flemings Steakhouse (Memphis) but the experience was nice and waiter was great along with the chef who did a great fire steak show
The early Father's Day celebration for my brother was everything I expected and more. Fleming's is one of his favorite restaurants, so thanks for the experience!
We took our 5 and 7 year old boys there for the first time to a nice dim lit restaurant and we couldn’t have been happier. Not only was the food magnificent, but the server and staff were exceptional in including them. Excellent steaks and trimmings as usual, but tonight Fleming’s made it special to our family. Thank you!
Dean was a fantastic waiter. We will ask for him again.
I love Fleming's. Part of the appeal of Fleming's is its consistency. The service and ambiance are always outstanding. Typically the food is perfect as well. On this occasion, however, the food was not great. It was a slow evening at the restaurant and there were only a handful of diners during our 7:00 reservation. Despite the lack of business, our food took an inordinately long time to be delivered after ordering our entrees (over 35 minutes). When the entrees were delivered, both the steak and the baked potato were substantially overcooked and the plate was so hot it was untouchable. This was the case for two of the three diners at our table. It seems that the kitchen either forgot about our order or somehow left it cooking for too long. However, our server was excellent, kind and attentive. She delivered us outstanding service and we still had a great experience despite the sub-par food. I'm sure the kitchen just had an off night -- it happens -- but we will be back to Fleming's.
The food was horrible.
The food and service superb. The Brussels sprouts were a little charred. Our server was very attentive and responsive. I like receiving the truffles as a birthday treat.
As usual, food and service are good. Noise was deafening. A group of drunkards was so loud, I could not communicate across the table.
I am really disappointed.
Excellent food great service! We had Orpheum tickets and the timing was worked perfectly by all.
Excellent service and food!
Food was great. Waiter was wonderful and Brett was awesome.
Very good experience👌Will definitely eat there again
Great dinner for our anniversary! Expensive but actually came in cheaper than we thought it would be! Had the little extras you want for a more expensive place like the Brie and comfrey(?) Spreads for the bread. The lobster bisque, Fleming’s potatoes, and tomahawk rib eye steak were outstanding! Only drawback was the flaming rib eye tomahawk “show”was put on before both of us were seated - rookie move! Overall was a great experience, though!
Great food & service with Michael Witzman.
We were there in anticipation celebration of our 25th anniversary. There was a couple right behind us also celebrating an anniversary. We never told anyone as it felt awkward like we might be copying them. We had a delicious meal though.
Had the Tomahawk Tuesday meal. Just a superb meal with TJ as the host. TJ is an an excellent server!
Everything was fabulous. One of my top 5 dining experiences in my lifetime. The prices were outrageous.
One word Superb! TJ was our server, extraordinaire. We had the Tomahawk Tuesday Special which is an event unto itself. Major props to Fleming’s!
Best steak we’ve had in a long time. Outstanding service and atmosphere.
Server was great and the operating manager was awesome. Both were very attentive.
I’ve been a long time patron of Fleming’s and was disappointed in the food quality at our last visit. My Tomahawk pork steak was tough and was served without any kind of sauce - I thought it was supposed to come with one. My sons salmon was over cooked and the dessert (carrot cake) was way too sweet. In general, given the price I paid for the meal I was disappointed.
Best service we have ever had!
A delightful evening at Flemings! They always treat you like royalty and their food is second to none. The complementary valet parking is an added perk.
We had a wonderful Date night at Fleming’s on Saturday. The food was wonderful and our server packed us up our leftovers with bread and flavored butter. We added some shrimp and wine and had a second wonderful dinner on our patio Sunday night. We will be back.
I took my wife to celebrate her birthday. We were greeted by the hostess who wished my her a happy birthday. The food and service were excellent! Our server, Terry, was very attentive and gracious. Two of the managers stopped by our table to wish my wife happy birthday and to check on how we were. Overall it was a great evening!
We tried some new menu items
All were terrific
The waffle and filet entree is delicious
Cheesecake is a must
Dean was outstanding!!!!! The Fleming potatoes were outstanding. It was an overall great experience
We had a wonderful time at Flemmimgs. The service and food was delicious!
An excellent dining experience. Always a great choice.
Great food and a wonderful overall evening!
We have visited Fleming's on several occasions but this reservation was for 1:15 pm on Easter Sunday. On arrival, we were informed we would have to wait which defeats the purpose of a reservation. We were finally seated after 20-25 minutes wait time. But the worst was next to come. Our waiter was quite courteous but slow in coming. We finally got to order from the three-course Easter brunch menu. My Caesar salad was good. My wife's lobster bisque was not. It was more like tomato soup. After much waiting for the main course -- and lack of attention from the wait staff -- we finally gave up and left the restaurant without having eaten. My wife spoke with the manager on the way out who gave us his business card and offered a free meal at a later date. We will follow up on that. Bottom line -- Fleming's was way understaffed that day and obviously overbooked. I have never had to wait for a table before when using OpenTable to make my reservations which is quick and efficient. We were disappointed but will give it another try. My advice to customers -- don't go there on a holiday.
Restaurant was way too cold, you could actually see people shivering. Food took almost an hour to come out and the steak was very I consistently cooked. A small filet had everything from medium rare to medium well in one cut, even after it was sent back. Very disappointing experience.
The restaurant was overwhelmed by a holiday (Easter) event crowd, which was disappointing. It was almost as if they didn't staff the kitchen adequately to handle what they undoubtedly had to have anticipated. Example: we waited 75 minutes for our first course (salads), and what should have been a 60-75 minute experience turned into a 2 and a half hour ordeal in a 62 degree dining room (brrrr). We learned our lesson and won't book Fleming's for a holiday meal experience again.
Dean was an amazing server! Food was delicious!
Jeremy our waiter was perfect in all ways! I was greeted by friendly faces and escorted to my table. Jeremy was there within seconds to welcome me. He is the epitome of an outstanding, dedicated, knowledgeable employee!! Way to go !!
My SeaBass was absolutely perfect!!
Thanks for making a date with my husband extra special.
Well it started off bad when we were sat at a table with hardly any light. So dark we had to use our phone light to see the menu. I even commented on it while being sat and the hostess just walked away. Then it took about 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were at the table (probably because it was so dark!)
Honestly the meal was just OK. We used to come to Flemings a lot years ago and seem to remember the food being a lot better than it was. Our steaks were just so so. Desert was REALLY good but honestly that was about it. Our friends who joined us had never been so it was a birthday treat and were given a little present from the restaurant which was nice, but management probably should have brought it by. I saw the managers walking around from table to table but never came to ask if we were doing ok (again, probably because they could not see us, ha!).
To top it off we do not drink, probably why service was not very good, but any way our bill with tip was $500 and that was with NO alcohol!! Then when we left I stopped off in the bathroom. Lawdy I thought I was at Shoney's. NO toilet paper in 2 stalls, paper towels overflowing in the trash, paper on the floor. It was obvious nobody had checked the restrooms in a very long time. So I stopped at the hostess desk (same hostess) and mentioned the condition and all I got was a "huh". With so many $$$$ restaurants in town they might need to step it up a little bit more especially when we can get an excellent experience and food with a $$$ new restaurant in town.
This restaurant is completely misrepresented on OpenTable. It’s labeled a $$$ when it should be a $$$$$. I came expecting to pay $30-50/ person as advertised here but was highly upset when ordering the cheapest thing possible (no appetizer, drink, or dessert) ended up spending $75. I’m hungry and disappointed.
Fantastic service, food and wine! Our server, Michael, was great.
