Meet quality disappointing for “dry aged”. Under seasoned and not worth cost. Used to high end steaks and better experience last visit.
The shrimp cocktail was excellent as were the creamed spinach and Flemmings potatoes. Our filets were average...for what they chsrged they should've been better.
The food was excellent, but the server was hardly mediocre. For a wonderful place to eat, he needs to brush up on service skills. We will go back, but I'll make sure not to have that same server.
This was out first time at Fleming. It was our anniversary so we wanted to try somewhere new! We were impressed from the start. The staff along with our waiter were all terrific. I can honestly say that's the best meal we've had in a long, long time! I would highly recommend.
We went to Flemings early on a Saturday night. Celebration dinner for son entering the military. We were treated as royalty. He was thanked for his service by all staff. Food was beyond amazing.
Quite a lovely place. Steaks were beautifully cooked. The service provided by Adrienne, though, was stellar!
The food and dining experience are amazing. The wine prices seemed to have jumped off the charts. Barely anything under $100.
Amazing food. The seared pork belly is a must have. The grits are amazing!
Dining at Fleming’s Madison was hands down, the best dining experience we have ever had. It truly was an experience not just food. The food itself is an experience and the most delightful I have ever tasted but beyond the food, our personable serve made the night outstanding. We were there for a special occasion and Cherie C. made our celebration meaningful. She spent time with us and offered wine tastings and made us feel special even though it was busy and she had other tables too. She spent time with each table and I don’t know how she accomplishes that level of service with efficiency. She was amazing. The atmosphere was perfect and we felt like a king and queen at the table. Well done. We will definitely return.
Fine dining but the corporate chain influence puts a dent into the experience. Steaks are generally excellent, but in multiple visits here the sides are usually a disappointment. A shrimp cocktail appetizer came with 5 super-jumbo shrimp that were too large, too meaty, and tough. Not "cocktail" shrimp in any respect. A classic wedge salad was perfect though, cold and crisp (and it even comes with a chilled fork). Service is attentive and typically flawless.
The food is always delicious, the ambiance perfect, and the service outstanding! We always have a great evening at Fleming’s!!
I received the wrong steaks on delivery, but they caught their mistake and brought out new ones. My wife ordered medium and it was mid rare pushing rare. I ordered mid rare and it was rare. I also order a glass of Duckhorn Merlot, it has been open for a while, I would expect a facility like this to have a preservation system. I have been to this restaurant on another occasion and it was a four star rating. Service was a bit off tonight. It was not as attentive as before and definitely short of a high end Steakhouse. The restaurant was busy, but should have been staffed accordingly.
The steak quality is good, the Fleming’s potatoes are fantastic. Wedge salad was very good with a great flavor, portion was small. Dessert was very tasty.
Didn't like Fleming Potatos & drinks $$. Love Flemings was not up to usual standard last night.
Food and service were awesome. Went for restaurant week for $35. Very good, but same meal would cost $80 any other time, I am retired and cannot afford that. Ordered 2 drinks at the bar and put a $20 up and that did not cover it. Way too pricey for me. I could have bought a whole bottle of Korbel for the price of 2 drinks. May go back for restaurant week again sometime, but drink elsewhere beforehand. Only for the rich!!!!
Service was outstanding. Rachel, Paige and Louis went over and above to make our evening special. The ribeye was cooked perfectly as was the spinach and the tostada appetizers from the chef's table.
Steak and salmon not flavorful and steak was dry. Salad, mashed potatoes, augratin potatoes and Fleming salad were good. Service by Rachel and others was excellent. However the value was not up to par with other restaurants in Madison.
Typically when you go to a place like Fleming's you are relying on the reputation of the chain - good food and good service. This location meets/exceeds those expectations. Nice wine selection as well.
7/16. A group of us celebrated my birthday at Fleming’s. It’s one of my favorite spots for fine dining. The steaks are amazing! The tenderloin and ribeye get better all the time! The menu has changed as there’s a new chef. This restaurant is a wonderful place for conversation! The ambience is elegant.
What everyone is always looking for in fine dining is here at this Flemings Restaurant, great food, great selection, and great service in a very quiet comfortable setting. My wife and I eat here several times each and look forward to it every time.
Food was great. When I was there a year ago I think I was given credit for something I did not remember. When the bill was presented a drink was removed with no credit reminder from me. I am impressed.
Another fabulous meal at Flemings! No need to wait for a special occasion to enjoy a great meal at this gem of a restaurant. We especially enjoyed the #FlemingsUncorked flight of wines from the Duckhorn Portfolio. A great deal and every pour was outstanding. We'll be back...
Not good choices of Pinot Noir wine. (Need a light and dry wine.)
Salmon was cooked dry.
They finally cooked my Pork Tomahawk properly. (Was cooked dry inside, the last time we were here.)
Everything was absolutely amazing! Service timing was perfect and the food was outstanding! Made for the best birthday celebration!
We had the tomahawk Tuesday special. The flavor was very good. We felt the meat had a lot of fat and tendons. Perhaps we are not familiar with the cut. We would have enjoyed the meat more otherwise.
The rest of the meal was very good. The service was excellent.
I had an open table reservation that I had made about 1 week before and called about 2 hours ahead to confirm a table outside for 5. When we arrived, the tables outside were all free but a table for 5 was not prepared. We had to wait for 2 tables to be put together. I had to request that they clean the dusty and water-spotted tables off as they were seating us without doing so. I also had to ask that they dry off the water-streaked tables that they had cleaned off for us. The lady that seated us and helped with the above was not friendly at all. In fact, she seemed put-off by the above requests and was somewhat rude. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive but the food took way too long to come out to us-especially the appetizers. Overall, our experience was not a pleasant one. I go to Flemings in Plano, TX very often and my experiences there are superb. Unfortunately, this was not the case with this visit to the Madison location,
Our waitress was extremely hospitable and knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. The food was amazing and cooked perfectly!
This was our 1st visit to Fleming's. We went to celebrate our 21st anniversary. The hostess greeted us with a happy anniversary and when she seated us the table was beautifully set and had rose petals and a card on it. Our waitress, Jennifer W, was phenomenal. She made us feel very special. She is very informative about the items on the menu and also very sweet and personable. We really enjoyed chatting with her. The presentation of the food was wonderful and it tasted absolutely excellent. We ordered the chocolate lava cake for dessert, and when Jennifer brought it out, it had a stencil which read "Happy Anniversary" in chocolate. What a thoughtful, above and beyond, detail!! Before we left Jennifer brought over a little box filled with truffles for us to take home to celebrate our anniversary. It was a wonderful experience!!! Thank you for making our anniversary extra special♡♡♡♡♡♡
Normally we have a fantastic meal at Fleming's but our experience this time was less than stellar. We placed two orders of the Wagyu beef and it was so overcooked we left parts of it. We order Wagyu at every restaurant we go to and this is the first time we've ever had it served charred on the outside. A very big disappointment. The restaurant was not busy and it took forever to get our meal. I will chalk it up to Mother's Day "recovery". I'm sure we will return as we do love eating there, just might be awhile.
Great service delicious food steaks was absolutely the best
Went for our daughters Graduation celebration dinner. Yes, we are aware that they were super busy however, the service was pretty bad. The server did not know anything.
Our server Trevor was great. It was a perfect place to celebrate our son's graduation. The food was delicious.
Not up to usual standards. Service pacing was slow, loaded back potato had minimal "load". Steaks we're just okay. Pork Belly and grits appetizer was delicious.
Reservation was timely. Excellent service and the food pricey but good quality. Ambiance was comfortable, calm and our server did a fantastic job!
We were made to feel very special for our anniversary. Laura was so gracious, and even comped our dessert. The maitre ‘d even came over for a chat which was a nice touch. All in all, a very excellent experience!
Great steak 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
We have had many good experiences at Flemings, however, I won't return for the Easter brunch again.
3 of us dined in celebration of a birthday. Trevor provided exceptional service. Our steaks were cooked to temperature
We enjoyed the booth. Great drinks, food was outstanding. Loved the Key Lime Pie. Mat T. served us well!
Great place for a nice business meal. The service and ambiance were impeccable.
Fleming's is a special treat for us. The food is always fabulous regardless of what you order. The steaks are cooked to perfection. Their signature potatoes are fantastic.
