Fleming's Steakhouse - Livonia Ratings and Reviews
Flemings is always a treat - great food and service. Our reservations were a little later than usual so the dinner rush had passed. As a result the noise level was much better than normal so there was no strain to follow the conversation. The usual excellent service was stepped up. Jason took phenomenal care of us - he made a point of learning all our names up front and did a great job of engaging the kids. Outstanding experience - can't wait to go back.
Their filet is delicious and you have to order the side of Mac & cheese, as well as the molten hot lava cake for dessert! They give you a box of chocolates for your birthday and also take a photo of you and your spouse at dinner. Very nice ambiance and cozy atmosphere.
We ALWAYS love coming to Flemings to celebrate birthdays or any special day! The food is top shelf - from the calamari appetizer (the best we've had bar none) to the sirloin steak! Superb! The wait staff was very attentive as well. I had the small plate scallops and shrimp over creamy risotto - OMG! #enoughsaid
Well, first of all, I marked that I would recommend this restaurant. I would recommend it with the caveat that it is very noisy and over-priced. If you want a quiet, intimate dinner, Fleming’s is not the place to go. Even though my husband and I had a booth, we had to shout to make ourselves heard. Very noisy. Mike, our server, was excellent, very serious! The food is very, very good. Our burrata appetizer was one of the best burrata dishes I have had: roasted tomatoes, the best crostini in the world, and delightful burrata. My salad, a tiny one for $12.50, was quite good (I had started to ask the waiter to split the salad, but since it appeared so small, I was glad I hadn’t asked). We would have had about a tablespoon of salad! For my entree I had roasted chicken breasts for $37.50. And that’s all I received: two chicken breasts without the hint of a vegetable or even a garnish. Come on, Fleming’s, not even a teaspoon of green beans or something—just unadorned chicken breasts for $37.50. Our bill with tip for two people was $200–too expensive. We will not be back.
We went to the Livonia location for a date night this past Saturday evening. Our waitress Jenna was very nice and the manager working at the time - please forgive me, I do not remember his name was very hospitable and kind in speaking with us. We love this restaurant and frequent when we can. We spend every New Year's there as a tradition and love the bar area for a evening dinner on occasion, also. We are looking forward to our visit next month for the holiday. Thank you!
We went to Fleming's Steakhouse for Thanksgiving Dinner. It was packed. We asked for a booth and didn't have to wait long. We got a roomy large booth. My husband loved the turkey, he raved about it. The green beans were crisp, which satisfied my taste for veggies that aren't mushy. Mashed potatoes really very good. Stuffing was okay. It was a very good meal. Reasonable at $40 each. The drinks were pricey. Three drinks and we ended up spending another $40 with tip. I would definitely go back for a special occasion or even just an evening out for dinner. I do want to go back and try their steak.
When we arrived, the fire alarm flashers were going off. The host stand was clearly flustered, as our welcome was less than it should have been. We were seated and greeted by our waitress, who was fine, but just fine. Fast forward 10 minutes and the fire alarm siren started going off. Thankfully, only about 5-10 seconds 2X but, nonetheless, it was alarming.
The flashers were finally disarmed after about 40 minutes of us being in the restaurant and not once was there any acknowledgement or apology of what was going on with the flashers/sirens.
Food was great, but I would expect it to be. Only disappointed in the people.
The food is exceptional. If you haven't tried the Seafood tower your missing an adventure.
Order it for less than the number in your party, it's a lot of food but it's a treat. Service is amazing, not pushy or trying to hurry you to "turn the table". All around great restaurant.
We had a wonderful dinner for our anniversary. The steak was (and always is) absolutely delicious! Melts in your mouth! The Fleming’s potatoes are to die for!!!!! Our server was excellent and they had a card on our table saying happy anniversary! She brought us our creme brule with a sparkler in it and send us home with a box of chocolate treats! Love Fleming’s!!!!!
was truly a great meal, the service was great, reservation was ready on time, they made a fuss about our anniversary. One of the best steaks I have had in years, the carrot cake desert was top 2 of all time. We plan to go back more often than just special occasions.
