Fleming's Steakhouse - LA Ratings and Reviews
Everything at the restaurant was great food, service, etc. The only problem I found was parking , this restaurant is located at the LA LIVE Downtown, right across from staples center I recommend if you know there’s a game you better of taking an Uber due to extremely expensive parking and almost all lots full , that night took me 30min to find a spot and had to walk a few blocks
The Food was very very good, the wine was verry, verry, very good, but this evening where
Nothing without this famos waiter !!! His recommendations for the wines where perfekt. He was so sympatic and he made this evening for us perfekt!
And next Time we want to Taste this famos Cognac wich was Not in the stock😤😜
Sorry for the mistakes but the System is a Bit stupid.
Best regards from duesseldorf/Germany to L.A.
I was celebrating our wedding anniversary and decided to go and have a dinner with my wife we will never forget this night at the flamings restaurant the food was delicious the service was great the waiter and all the staff very friendly we had a great time. We will comeback very soon. Thank you all the staff.
I have dined at Fleming’s a number of times and always enjoyed my experience However dining at Fleming’s LA live was not a great choice We saw our waiter a total of 2 minutes all night Having to flag down anyone to get water bread drinks ect was quite disturbing
When paying 100$ per plate I expect a great meal and experience This was not the case our waiter not only rushed us but was very short with all of us I personally would not recommend this restaurant to anyone
I love attending Fleming's @LaLive before attending events at Staples Center and Microsoft Theater. The staff is always friendly and professional and the food never disappointments. My favorite side item is the Chiplote Mac and Cheese and I'm always torn between the salmon and sea bass. My husband loves the rib eye steak and the turtle cake and carrot cake are to die for. No matter if it's just my husband and myself or a evening out with my girlfriends, It's always a great experience dining at Fleming's.
We came to Fleming’s for New Year’s Eve dinner and everything that could go wrong did. We had to ask for straws at least four times. We had to ask for bread and butter. Our waitress took over twenty minutes to get our cocktails in fact she came back to the table after we had already ordered our drinks because she forgot what we ordered. She also didn’t know what kind of flavored vodka the restaurant serves. I would expect this lack of knowledge from ihop not Fleming’s. Our food came and I had ordered the ravioli but I was brought a vegetarian plate with ravioli dripped with balsamic ( no sauce) and asparagus. My girlfriend ordered the prime rib and a baked potatoe with no bacon. Guess what?! The potatoe had bacon on it and the prime rib was tough like leather. We brought all of these issues to the servers attention which she said she would make right. About twenty five minutes later a new dish of ravioli came out and low and behold it still didn’t have any sauce on it but was drizzled with balsamic instead. Still not what I ordered. My girlfriends loaded baked potatoe came with all the toppings on the side. Not what she ordered either. At this point the meal was almost comical and I was starving still so we told the server we would like to skip right to dessert and we ordered the butter cake. After twenty nine minutes and no butter cake we grabbed a manager who said “it’s taken care of when you’re done you’re free to get up and leave”. Ummmm sir. It’s New Year’s Eve. I’m still starving and I’ve been in your five star restaurant for two hours now and NOTHING I have ordered has been right. How about enticing me to return? How about “I’m so sorry can I get you something to go?” This was by far one of the worst meals I’ve ever had from top to bottom. I’ll never go back or recommend Fleming’s in downtown LA to anyone.
I took my wife to Flemings this weekend for her birthday. While everything about our meal was great, I think it was the service that made the biggest impression. We arrived 45 minutes early and expected to sit in the bar a while. To my surprise, we were seated within 10 minutes. Our team of servers were excellent. Friendly and attentive. Drinks were very good. Every course of the meal was excellent. Great experience all around.
This restaurant is located in a busy corner at LA Live in Downtown. Inside of restaurant was very nice and fancy. Been to plenty of Steakhouses, some very good, some not so good. This one fits somewhere in the middle. A little over priced for the size and quality cut of the steak I ordered. But the ambiance and surroundings of the restaurant 2 days before Christmas made up for the difference. Came here to dinner with my family before attending a Saturday night Lakers game which is conveniently located right next door. Overall, a good expierence but will try something else if we're in the area again.
Went there for lunch and there were a few groups there for holiday lunch. The management didn't have enough waiters and everyone waited for basic service that required a waiter. Poor planning ruined an otherwise excellent meal.
The steak was cooked to perfection and the salmon was light and flaky. The lunch combo is a good bargain for the quality and quantity of food. I found it odd that they don't serve bread but it was probably better they didn't because we could barely finish dessert.
This was our second visit to Flemings LA Live and as a frequent customer of several other Flemings locations, I must say that we were very disappointed with this particular one. It was very impersonal, and didn't at all feel like we were dining at an upscale restaurant. The server probably said no more than 20 words to us the entire night. She never checked in with us after we got our food. When she dropped off our glasses of wine, she didn't tell us which was the Merlot and which was the Cabernet. She wasn't rude, but definitely wasn't friendly. When you're paying $250 for dinner for 2 people, you should be paid attention to. The visit just didn't feel special at all. Very disappointing and will not return to this location.
It's Fleming's so of course the steaks are amazing. The service was top shelf and they even held our reservation (stuck in LA traffic, shocking!! Lol) I was disappointed with the lack of ambiance. The dining room is stacked just about shoulder to shoulder and it is very loud. It kinda reminded me of a diner with nice linens. Being so close to Staples Center, I guess that's what you get, five star food and service in a quick bite atmosphere.
A Little Disappointed overall. Had been recommended by friends and was looking forward to going, although am not a fan of any restaurants at LA LIve.
Seated by kitchen which was just loud, not like a chef's table/kitchen. Food was just OK. The modern ceasar salad? Nothing modern or tasty about it. Shrimp cocktail was ok. Steak was overdone but tasty.
Not running back there-Prefer Ruth Chris, Wolfgang's or even Mastro's for food for sure!
Took my girlfriend here to celebrate a “milestone” birthday, and it was all I was hoping for. Outstanding food and service, if a little pricey. Worth a drive from even outlying areas for a special occasion. I recommend joining the frequent diners’ club—good at several other restaurant chains as well!
I've been to this location multiple times and it has been a steady decline.
This time the service was just horrendous. It took forever to place our order and receive bread (requested 3 times) and when the order finally arrived it wasn't correct.
Our waiter seem to be distracted conversing with his colleague.
Needless to say it will probably be awhile before I return to Flemings, I hope by then the restaurant gets back on track because I really did enjoy this place.
