It was my first time at Fleming’s. Went with my family for mine and my husband’s 40th birthdays. We loved it so much that we’re making it a tradition to come back for everyone’s birthday! Food was great! Server, Kent, was awesome!
Amazing steak, seafood, desserts, whatever you're after. Everything is always done so well, and service is great. All Fleming's provide a great dining experience, but this is an exceptional location.
Great Steaks all around. Great scotch and whiskeys all around. Great place to eat before anything at LA Live or Staples. Not cheap but worth the price. Highly recommend
Servers were polite and good but food took a long time to arrive between salad and main course.
Excellent service and food. Truly a spectacular evening. I visit high end places like this often and this one is either at or very close to the top of my list. Very very good.
Clippers game with out of towners
Steaks were way below average, no manager evolvement. Service slow
Great place to spend dinner with your loved ones! :)
Have dined here before. This time service was just ok. No bread was offered. Waiter hit my chair every time he walked by. That was a little annoying. We were sitting at a table for just two, where are you suppose to put your purse? They were very crowded.
Ridiculously expensive IMO!!! I could not believe the prices. I was embarrassed for my friends who I had asked to join me and hence share the cost. And really average quality food in my opinion. I would have preferred the food in Chipotle for a fraction of the price. I will never, ever go back
Caesar salad and burger with crab cake were delicious. Lava cake and creme brulee were good, too.
We dined at this Fleming's location due to positive past experiences and convenience to Staples Center. Because of the phenomenal experiences we had, this particular one was subpar in comparison. We had a 8pm reservation and checked in right on time. The hostess took us to a table when our reservation specified a booth, so we had go through the awkward walk back to the reception area and then back into the dining room. Once seated, it took 10 min for the waiter to show up and another 10 min before we were able to place our order. By the time the slow kitchen delivered our food, it was already 9pm. By then, the appetite had declined, so the food didn't taste as amazing as before. We were exhausted from the day, so didn't even bother to complain after leaving the establishment at 9:45pm. Hopefully, it will be better next time.
It was good better restaurants in the area
Great staff!!! Food was good!!
Miss small plate options. Bread - spreads not as good as used to be.
It was a busy night due to the clippers game but our service was great and food was amazing
Fleming's food is always good and the service is terrific. It took far too long to get our food after we ordered but that was our only complaint. Also, and I always think this, the price point for this place is about twenty percent to high. It's a high end chain restaurant and I acknowledge it is great quality, but the bill is always a bit of a shock!
This dining experience was very average compared to the last time we were here. The spinach salad was overwhelmed by the arugula, also not enough dressing. The prime rib cut was good but lacked any real seasoning. I don't expect Lawry's but it should be at least as good as what my wife cooks at home. very disappointing evening.
Probably the best steak I’ve ever had && they also have lobster mashed potatoes! Amazing !!
Went to Fleming’s for a business dinner. We had amazing service and the food was outstanding! Bone in rib-eye amazing! My wife had the Filet, she loved it! Fleming’s potatoes were the best! Thanks for the great meal after a long day!
Dinner was amazing. The food, the waiter etc was perfect. The wait was minimal we were a little late due to parking and traffic so we sat at bar and had a drink. The bar was busy and that was where the service lacked... Boone was rude and arrogant he’s the only thing that ruined that’ll start to our amazing dinner and my birthday experience as a first timer.
Food was cooked to perfection service was excellent a carrot cake to die for and an overall very pleasant experience.
Service was horrible and the food was over cooked
Delicious food but horrible service!!
Fleming’s is a destination for my Son and myself on Sporting events and special occasions
Consistently delivers on food, service and ambience
We had a wonderful time. We will be back soon!!! The service was awesome!!
Manager this night was not friendly, I had a coupon to use for 10 dollars and I was told by the manager, “ do u think this is McDonald’s?” And the laughed and gave me the 10 dollar discount. I still have the waiter 20% tip. And we were not even finished with our appetizers and they took it from us... not a very great experience .
I set up a business dinner here and what a mistake. I have dined at four different Flemmings and never disappoimted, until this dinner. First there was a Staples Center / Lakers special event (not a season game) and parking lots were full. I called the front desk for suggestions with no help. Eventually found parking many blocks away and my frustration continued.
Despite many open tables the hostess seated or or right next to us. The tables are very close together. I ordered a bourbon and the poor was the smallest poor I've ever seen. Probably 1/2 of what other upscale restaurants poor. The food took forever to arrive. The main dining room was not very busy, but there were some VIP groups in private rooms and they received preference despite being seated after us.
The waitress was less than stellar. At one point when point when refilling my colleagues water glass, the waitress actually pulled the water glass from my colleague's hand. I've never seen such a thing!
Bottom line, food was good, nothing else was. There are better choices in DTLA, I suggest you select one of them. My next business dinner will NOT be at DTLA Flemmings!
Great food and great service!
It was for Valentine’s Day. Staff were very attentive and not to over bearing. Very enjoyable experience.
Flemings is one of my favorite restaurants. Unfortunately on my recent visit for lunch on Valentine’s Day it was sub par. The service was extremely slow and fries were super oily. I had to ask for a refill on my water & iced tea, ask for bread (because they didn’t offer any) and our dessert, a slice of cheesecake took 20 minutes.
Flemings at LA Live is not what it used to be, especially for lunch. The Prix Fixe menu always used to be a great choice. Now they have put the price up and reduced the food. The filet came with 3 (yes, count them, 3) carrots. I asked for an additional side which did not come with the steak. When it finally came it was cold and I had to send it back and told them not to bother sending another one. When the bill came, I had to ask that the cost of the side be removed.
For the dessert I ordered the New York cheesecake. I honestly think Flemings must have purchased a special machine to cut slices that small. No human could cut something so small.
Overall, very disappointing.
The chefs special was over priced. The is decent but over priced for the quality.
Service was so horrible it made me miss my next meeting. 35 minutes to order. Flagged down a bus boy to get check. Drink refills took 15 minutes at best. Terrible
Went here prior to the Lakers game (our early Vday date), heard it was comparable to Mastros. Lol no way. They aren’t even close to Mastros level. BOTH our steaks were over cooked and dry. Chewy, dry flavorless charbroiled leather. The steaks were barely warm even though our plates were scorching hot! Mac & cheese was ok, asparagus ok. Choc lava cake was enjoyable. Nothing was by any means great flavor wise though. Our server was FANTASTIC though. That’s the only thing that saved our experience and had us not bring up our terrible food issues. They don’t plate your sides upon arrival or clean the table cloth between courses (Mastros does this) We didn’t want a discount, just chalked it up as a reminder to never eat there again.
The server was attentive, food was great.
