Awesome! The food and service are always outstanding!
Great good and great service!
We went for the Holiday lunch. Good value and great food and drinks. Megan our server was exceptional. A great way to slow down on Black Friday and relax.
We had reservation for dinner at 6:45 unfortunately Flemings must have overbooked and we didnt get our seats for another 30 min. There was very little good faith accomadations on behalf of the restaurant That had dampened our evening.
Thanksgiving Dinner table service was very slow and wait staff had to be reminded to bring out sides since dinner service had been served.
They overbooked. We arrived 20 minutes early for our 6 pm reservation. We didn't get seated until 6:30 pm. People were lined up along the walls waiting to be seated. These were people with reservations.
It was extremely noisy. And the food was mediocre.
We were seated in a booth, four of us. The light above the booth is very low and was a bright, bright light. I asked the server if the light could be dimmed as it was so bright. She said she would check. Nothing done.
Asked for a ceasar salad, was served iceberg lettuce instead of romaine. Mentioned this to the server, she apologized and brought a correctly prepared romaine ceasar salad.
We had a bottle of fine chanpagne, the server filled each glass to the very top instead of the appropriate 3/4 to the top of the glass~ annoying...and everytime she brought something to the table she topped off each glass to the very top until we told her thank you, but we will pour the champagne.
I think when you choose to pay extra for a fine dining experience it should be perfect. I don’t think we will be going back.
We were disappointed in the food this year. Seemed to be more prepared the day before. Normally the food is amazing. This year we invited friends to join us. It’s was embarrassing since we bragged so much about our past visits and how amazing the food is.
Bone in pork was way overdone
Great steak and sides. Excellent wines, with some unfamiliar labels. You get what you would expect from such a place.
Always a wonderful meal at Fleming's, though I wish they could figure out a way to dampen the noise level when the room gets full. It's not too bad at a booth, but the tables are unundated with waves of conversation...
Two of our party tried the Sunday three-course special and loved it. And I had the Key lime pie for the first time and was very impressed. And for the crowning touch, the chef made a vegan meal especially for the non-meat, non-dairy member of the table, which she raved about.
Great job! But please work on that sound buffering...
Our go-to for amazing steak, along with impeccable quality and attention to every detail of the customer experience.
Probably one of the best meals I have ever had in my life. Everything was cooked to perfection. More importantly our server April D was amazing! She was courteous and knowledgeable but not over the top. No pushy or overly friendly. She was a seasoned vet. Awesome experience and I will be going back for sure. Thanks April D and the Fleming’s staff.
Great food
A bit pricey but delicious
Awesome service
Love this restaurant so much! It is our favorite and we go there as much as possible. Love Monday Filet and Lobster, three courses!!
Fleming’s has some of the best service compared to any of the other fine dining restaurants in San Diego, hands down! We were celebrating our 11 year anniversary and from arrival all the way to wrapping up our meal and topping dinner off with a champagne toast (complimentary by the way, and brought over by the Manager), our dinner far exceeded our expectations! If you are looking for an outstanding dining experience, crave some mouth watering cuts of meat perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection just the way you like it, and have a hankering for some of the best chocolate lava cake on the West Coast, then definitely go to Fleming’s!
Great place!!
The service and food have been excellent on every visit, and the wine list is extensive. The only flaw this last visit was being seated adjacent to the bar where there was a loud person. The staff here anticipates your every need and makes you feel special when you go there to celebrate an occasion. This is my favorite restaurant in all of San Diego.
The food and service was impeccable. The ambience couldn’t have been better. Every light fixture and detail well thought out. We had a lovely booth and Jacob provided some amazing wine pairings for each part of our meal. I must admit I ate too much of that amazing bread with pumpkin butter and some sort of decadent cheese spread. The tar tar was delicious and so were the oysters. Everything we ordered came out just right. Did I mention the lava cake? Worth every calorie. I highly recommend Flemings...an evening well spent.
We had an all around 5 star experience. The food was excellent, our server Michael exceeded our expectations by anticipating our needs before we knew that we needed them (refilling our beverage before empty, asking if we wanted more bread before running out, making sure our food was prepared correctly and tasted to our liking, etc.). Plus, we enjoyed his hospitality! Hostesses were polite and friendly.
Management greeted me upon entering and were very nice. One manager in particular checked on us twice throughout our visit and I wish that I remembered his name. Very nice gentleman that made sure we had an excellent experience.
We’ll definitely be back.
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our meals. We had received a $50.00 card from Flemming's and this was an incentive. Certainly the price was right and the food very tasty.
Hailey was our server tonight. She made the experience SO wonderful. I had my 3 month old son with us, which i was nervous about. I didn’t want to disturb any other diners if he started crying, so I requested a table in the corner. When he was a little fussy, and a few other diners were clearly annoyed, she stood by me and my family for wanting to celebrate our birthdays all together and I cannot even tell you how much I appreciate her. We love celebrating special occasions at Fleming’s because the food is always fabulous, but this time is was Hailey’s service and personal touch that really put the experience over the top.
Engagement celebration for our son & future daughter-in-law. They gave them a nice congratulations card, well wishes from several staff & a champagne toast! Very attentive & caring staff.
Well let's start off with it being very overpriced for what you get. Boyfriend had the least expensive steak which was $60 and comes with no sides. He ordered the Mushrooms and Mashed Potatoes. Mushrooms were to die for! I had the Fleming's salad and ordered the crab meat as a topper for it. There was next to no crab on it, so the Manager did bring me some additional crab. Nice touch. Service was excellent all around. It was his Birthday and I had hoped for a nicer table, but we were seated almost in the aisle. They do bring a little box of chocolates for the Birthday, which was very cool. Oh well, it was lovely, just really overpriced.
Great as always
Too notch experience, as always.
Birthday dinner with the perfect atmosphere
Flemings never let you down! Thumbs up!!
It's an elegant venue with excellent steaks and fine service While its regular menu items are understandably pricey, the recent Restaurant Week offering of filet mignon & lobster tail (with a choice amont 3 salad and dessert options) was a veritable bargain. The only negative that their fabulous chocolate praline torte dessert is no longer available.
Our filet mignon was tough and over cooked, the carrot cake was very dry, tasted old, very disappointed with the $200 dinner for two!! Expected the quality that goes with the price
This was our pick for our monthly dinner with friends. I love taking them somewhere I have been, but are they probably wouldn’t go to because it can be expensive. The Restaurant Week menu was awesome! Great service! Thanks again!
Great restaurant week filet and lobster!
We were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary. My Fleming potatoes were overdone and dry, steak was good medium rare but 10 - 20 minutes into eating because the plate was hot the steak was still cooking and ended up more cooked than I would have liked. Anytime I go to a Fleming’s restaurant, I order a diet soda, I know the servers work as a team but, I had to ask for all my refills throughout dinner. I wasn’t happy about that. I thought anyone could have seen me, I was trying to make eye contact and giving a little gestures to get their attention. I would probably go to Donovan’s steakhouse next time, they are more attentive to their customers. I never have to ask for refills, it just gets done.
They made sure they congratulated us for wedding anniversary
Delicious lobster and filet mignon 3 course dinner. Definitely would repeat.
The calamari and broccolini were amazing!
Great evening. Our server Megan was wonderful. We come annually for our anniversary and tonight the food was exceptional. It’s always good but my bone in rib-eye was the best I’ve ever had! Service is always great. We will be back next year for sure!
Service was impeccable
I am beyond amazed at the courteous service we received from every person who worked there.
Thanks Damien for a wonderful experience with the Tomahawk!!!
The only reason as to why I have my experience a low star count is because I asked for my steak to be cooked medium well and it was significantly over cooked.
We went on a Monday night.....Excellent Service.....EXCELLENT Filet Mignon n Lobster tail cooked to perfection.....Sunday's (Prime Rib) and Monday's ( filet n tail) they have a special 3 course meal....worth it to go on these nights ....otherwise ....very pricey....everything Ala Carte ....sides can be shared....large side portions .....lighting is not the greatest some tables you can t see the food....if u go any other nights for 3 courses with wine by the glass and tip.... expect $200 or more depending on what you order....8oz Filet is $47 by itself everything else higher prices ..... high quality meats
Our 3 course was $55 per person no sides and 3 glasses of wine with tip cost was $189....good for special occasions or if your on a business expense account.
