Our dinner was $186 and while I know this place is pricey, I expected better food and better service. My wife's salmon was so-so and my $50 steak was just ok.
Excellent 12oz Filet. The potatoes were amazing and the chocolate desert was delectable. Can't wait to go again for another amazing meal!
Great food and amazing service (ask for Ceasar!) Loved that they could make a Vesper martini. Lamb small plate was amazing - wish they offered an entrée portion. a bit pricy compared to other local steakhouses of same quality. Sat near front door and was very cold from folks going in and out of the restaurant on a cold evening.
Was trying Fleming’s again after a 2-3 year break and remembered why we hadn’t been in years. The steak and pork was undercooked and had to send back which caused all of our sides to get cold. There are so many better options for steak dinners.
Great food and excellent service, this is on par with the other big name steakhouses in Houston!
Great service and food was great!
Our service was excellent and the prime ribs dinners were delicious.
Our waiter was great and the food was good. Where things fell apart was with the leftovers. We usually order large portions to enjoy with another meal at home. This apparently was forgotten and we had to ask the waiter after waiting quite awhile. He apologized profusely upon return with our doggy bag. Unfortunately, when we got gone it did not look like the portion of steak we didn’t eat. I’m guessing instead of admitting the mistake we got a small hunk of filet off another order and a lump of mashed potatoes. Hopefully it wasn’t from someone else’s plate! Anyway, might seem like a small detail but there are so many steak places in Montrose/Upper Kirby that there is no reason to go back to the Fleming’s chain. Too bad, we’ve been here several times and in other cities.
I’ve had a lot of really good steaks and the filet was just okay (sometimes i do medium sometimes i do med-well and the outside was basically burnt, inside was good), the potato was okay but i didn’t like that they put the flavored butter,Mac and cheese was probably the best thing along with the bread! We were in a semi-formal dining but the ambiance wasn’t good. There was a larger party in there with us and 3 other tables. Service was good (especially at bar) we were seated 30 min later than reservation , it wasnt a horrible experience but i wouldn’t go back.
I was very disappointed, we had a reservation for 8:15. We arrived 30 minutes early hoping we would be seated on time for our 8:15 reservation, we were not seated till 9:30. We were given free appetizers but I would have rather been seated on time. There were people that came in after us with large parties that were seated before us. The lady that I kept asking how much longer it would be at one point get a little rude with me, I believe she was one of the managers. I don't think I will be going back to Fleming's after this experience. What's the point of making a reservation and having to wait over an hour for your table.
