Outstanding service, I would recommend this for everyone
Great ambiance, top notch service, awesome steaks.
The food was good, but not exceptional and certainly not worth the exorbitant, outrageous prices. Restaurant was nearly empty, yet we were seated next to two occupied tables, including a large group. Even with a reservation, we were seated near an area where employees were gathered, talking and cleaning glasses. They were not quiet or discreet. The portions were adequate and food was cooked fine, but nothing special. We were never offered a drink other than water or alcohol, so I'm not even sure tea or soft drinks are available.
I took two of my friends here for an impromptu Mother's Day outting. Everything was well prepared, and the steak met expectations after several recent disappointments. Greensboro may not have the most options, but Fleming's certainly delivered.
Nice place but over priced in my opinion. The least expense item on the menu: Entree of Two Airline Chicken Breasts for $38. This does not include sides. I wanted a steak but I couldn't reason with dropping $64 on a mid-size filet. Not sure, but the unreal price points may have been because of Mother's Day. I can't recall the term for jacking up the prices because of demand or an occasion? I might consider trying again if they decide to offer a more diverse menu with more realistic prices. And by the way, be very cautious of the plates when the food arrives to the table, as they are not warm, they are actually screaming hot. You literally can burn yourself if touch the plate (not an exaggeration).
But on a good note, the maître d' did a great job, and was very welcoming.
A thoroughly enjoyable Mother’s Day dinner. From the greeting upon arrival to the salutation as we departed, the team made us feel welcomed and appreciated. The food and wine never disappoints.
My daughter took me here for the Mother's Day brunch and I was so disappointed with the experience. After all the great reviews, the service was extremely slow. We arrived at 1:33( appointment was for 1:30) and had to wait to be seated. Then, It took us over an hour to get our food. We were there almost two hours. The biscuit they brought us as a precourse treat was burned so badly it was not edible. My steak was overcooked, and the veggie egg scramble was salty and just disgusting.
The only thing good was the mismosas. The bill came to $120 and it was one of the worst dining experiences ever. I had been looking forward to eating her for months, and I left so unhappy. I will reimburse my daughter for my meal, as I feel so badly that the food was so bad.
Overall food was excellent - the waiter we had was not good -in fact thought he was rude- Mothers Day - and thought he could have been at least a bit friendly bit friendly - got a piece of cheesecake to go it was smashed when he brought it to the table? We dine there for most occassions and have had great service - not this time very poor from the waiter - the others that came by were very nice and friendly -
Great experience as always. We came for Mother’s Day and although it was busy, food was hot and service was excellent.
The food was excellent but it took two hours to complete the three course meal. A bit long for my liking.
Food is overpriced from drinks to sides to desserts- not much choice for amounts of steak available...would like to see smaller ounces available - would definitely share if we come back
Early Mother’s Day meal
The service was exceptional. Everyone was very friendly. The steaks and lobster tails were perfectly prepared. The sides of Brussels sprouts wrapped in bacon, Mac & cheese and mushrooms were all delicious. The apps - tuna and Caesar salad were good. The only negative was mealy shrimp cocktail. The place is fun but it does smell like a steak house.
The food was overall good but filet could have had a little more flavor. Excellent service! My daughter has celiac disease and she enjoyed a delicious (safe) dinner and was offered a dessert choice. Can’t wait to go back again!
Service was not equivalent to the price paid. Served ladies last. (Literally went out of his way to serve men first) waited for drink refills. Entrees did not come out together leaving one person waiting for their food. Not awful but had higher expectations that were not met
We have dined here several times but either our taste have changed or the food there has instead. With all of the other fine dining places in the triad area we will probably not eat here again.
Everything was great! I ALWAYS receive great service and the food is spectacular.
Great Food and Service. Took my wife for her Birthday. Hostess greeted us and gave her a birthday card. Every staff member we came in contact with wished her happy birthday.
Amazing steak and wine list, as always. New executive chef has put several signature items on the menu.
An amazing dining experience. From the time that we were greeted at the door by Walter to the time we were served with attentiveness by Jim. The waygu steak was amazing and the carrot cake was delicious!!
A wonderful date night!!
Wonderful experience at Fleming’s! Went for my birthday dinner. Everything was exceptional. Food, presentation, service, ambiance, etc. We will definitely be returning to dine again. Thanks, Fleming’s!
We went for our wedding anniversary and had a wonderful dinner and experience. Service was top notch, never had an empty glass. Each course was served quickly and with a smile. We will definitely go back.
This was a gift for our daughter and her prom date. We’ve dined here before andBased on
Very overpriced. And it was extremely loud. Wait staff seemed overburdened.
Nice to have a high-end steakhouse in the form of Fleming’s in Greensboro. Steaks were superb! Our worldly, attentive and friendly service professional, James R., was a delight! A++++++
The service was fantastic. The staff was friendly. The food was very good and it was a very enjoyable experience
Fleming's is always a great experience. Best Bearnaise in town
We have been to Flemings many times, but I guess every restaurant can have a bad night. The service and our food except the salads were below our expectations based on our previous visits. I would not recommend the Angus ribeye which was not even close to the New York strip, but only four dollars less. It was also overcooked. The service was spotty at best and far below their usual standards. It will be a while before we consider returning to Flemings.
Great meal and service. They’re all good, but Jim is the best server. My boss was very impressed.
Great service! The restaurant was full due to the high Point Furniture Market. We had a terrific dinner.
This place charges top dollar for ok steak. At these prices everything should be dry aged and prime. It is embarrassing they sell choice meat.
Visiting my son
The food was good, and our servers took pretty good care of us. There was a rude bartender unfortunately, though the other was very nice, I guess we just sat at the wrong end of the bar prior to being seated at our table. Other than that everyone else was very helpful. There was a guy bartender who was much more attentive and we had 2 gentlemen taking care of us who did a great job (we had a party of 8).
There's a proliferation of good steakhouses out there, but Flemings sets itself apart.
Great ambience, food and service. Although not inexpensive, it's also not outrageous, price wise. The appetizers were very good and generous in size. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. This is the second time I've been to Fleming' , and I would go again.
The steak was perfect ... cooked just right and very flavorful. Will definitely go back!
Great food with very attentive staff. You get your monies worth.
Once again we were not disappointed in Fleming’s. We had filet and lobster for dinner. The filet was cooked perfectly and the lobster was tender. Our server was very attentive and made sure everything was just right. The bread seemed a little stale or a day old was my only negative with our dinner.
Eating at this restaurant was a great experience. The food was excellent. The wine was excellent. The cocktails were excellent. My husband took me here for my birthday. This was much better than other top notch steak restaurants. I recommend this place to anyone celebrating special occasions or looking for an high end dinning experience.
We each ordered the prime rib dinner that is offered only on Sundays. It was wonderful! We loved the Fleming's salad, prime rib, and chocolate lava cake. We tried three different sides and liked the creamed spinach most. The service was excellent.
Brunch was expensive for the quality of choices served. Server was very polite but overall service was very slow...even only 1/3 of the tables were occupied.
