Fleming's Steakhouse - Edgewater Ratings and Reviews
This steak house was absolutely amazing; from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Our waiter was Roger and he was great!! He was pleasant catering and funny. 5 star serving. I’ll definitely be returning with my husband. Connie the receptionist was exceptional as well. Overall great experience!!
Does was very good but ridiculously priced. A side of 3 asparagus and some crabmeat was $15. My Son had the Filet Mignon very tender. His side was $11 Onion rings so his Filet came out on a plate naked...I would be embarrassed if I was the restauarant. How do you not out some thing to complete the look of the plate. Looked like they were serving a dog..To charge $15 for 3 stems of asparagus and not just put it on the plate is too frugal for my taste.
Nice place for both couples and groups. Service was very good; the waitress and assistants were very attentive. We didn't feel rushed nor ignored. The Chilean sea bass was very good, steaks were good and sides were okay. Very good wine list (waitress recommended an outstanding wine).
Beautiful restaurant. Magnificent view of the Manhattan skyline. Great food. Fantastic service. Worth every penny the 40 minute drive from Livingston, without the hassle, chaotic traffic and nightmare of parking of going into Manhattan for steaks just as good or even better.
The service was outstanding! The steaks were great as usual. We have dined there several times and we always struggle with selecting side dishes. I would like to see some other vegetables offered. I.e. GarlicSpinach without the cream, string beans, cauliflower mash. I love French fries but the shoe string fries on the menu are not very good. The ambiance is beautiful and the restaurant is one of our favorite places to dine!
Hope this is helpful.
I've been to Flemings a few times and I will always return. My wife loves their steaks so much that she requested to have her birthday dinner there. Everyone in our party loved the food and gave high marks for the steaks.
Is it pricey? Well, yes, but it's the same as any other good steak place. The difference is that every steak we've had was always great and cooked to perfection @ Flemings. You also have the amazing view, so part of that is in the price.
Service was exceptional as usual. They even made us free plates and drinks for the kids in the group without asking! Our server even took all of our valet tickets so that our cars would be ready when we walked out!
We will be back :)
This place keeps track of customer preferences, and you don't even have to be a regular. An outstanding place with formal Steakhouse Ambiance, namely dark wood panel walls, outstanding wine list, and plus dining area. But at the same time, and formal enough where the wait staff recognizes you as a regular, and engages in an appropriate level of answer. The food is outstanding, the wine list well selected, and the customer is came from the first greeting until the final goodbye
We changed tables three times looking for the quietest with the best seating for a short member of the party. The service staff was very patient and helpful. All four of us were very happy with our food. A nice place. On other occasions, I have enjoyed their civilized early-evening bar scene.
Service was horrible - they decided to train a waitress on our table. The trainer was not good either. The accent from "the hood" was coming through in his talk. Food was good, but the whole experience was spoiled.
The restaurant is located by the water and should have had nice views of Manhattan, but none of the view was visible because windrows were too high and you couldn't see much of the view while sitting down.
Not coming back there again.
Went for my boyfriend's birthday and it was the best special occasion experience we've had. They go above and beyond than just your average bday candle in a dessert. Our server was knowledgeable and charismatic. Our apps were delicious and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Great first time experience and I definitely recommend it for any occasions.
Wanted to order a great specialty harvest dinner being promoted in our menu only to be told after placing the order that it was a special not starting until the following day. What a letdown, why was it in the menu in the first place? Waiter was not very knowledgeable about a majority of the menu items. Clients at table next to us ended up in some type of verbal dispute with people arguing and leaving throughout the dinner service making out dinner a bit tense when it was a celebration.
