I took a friend there for her first visit. She was beyond impressed with our level of service and said the steak melted in her mouth.

We had a wonderful dinner at flemings to celebrate Easter. Service was attentive, steaks were cooked perfectly. All the food was piping hot.

Fleming's is consistently good. Our steaks were very good and cooked to the perfect temperature. Our waitress pushed their 5-course "Hess" offering a bit too hard for our liking, and when we asked what they had for Bourbon, she proceeded to tell us about a bunch of Rye Whiskey they had, but overall it was a nice evening and a good meal.

This is one of our favorite places to go for dining. The Chef accommodates my favorite dish to my food allergy. The staff is friendly, efficient, and non-obtrusive. Happy Hour is usually pretty laid back. All in all, a great place in West Des Moines.

Celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. Ordered 2 petite filets and 2 regular filets. One petite filet was ordered medium and came back medium rare. We think they put it in the microwave to get done. The 2nd petite filet was ordered medium and came out well done. Tasted like shoe leather. The server did not offer to replace the steak. the other 2 filets were good. Very disappointed with Fleming's. We should have went to 801 Steak and Chop.

This is our favorite place in West Des Moines. We usually go early and Chef Matt makes my wife the special sauce for the chicken without mushrooms because she is allergic. That is what we call GREAT SERVICE. The staff is friendly, efficient, and always a pleasure to deal with. We've never had a bad meal or a bad experience at this location. They get "5s" all the way around. Thanks, everyone!

The food was good but certainly not standout. There was a rather long wait between the appetizer and main course. Service was good as always.

My wife and I had a very good pre-Valentine's day dinner here. She had the Petite Filet Mignon and I had the Ribeye. A great evening at a slightly high price.

Both of us enjoyed the wine feature that includes three different Belle Gloss Pinot Noir and a Quilt Cabernet. Our waiter was excellent and attentive and the food was excellent. We have enjoyed dining at this Flemington for years.

The steaks were done just as we had ordered and the wine flight was superb. Wish the waiter, Brandon, had spoken to us / his mask off.
On another note, a dress code would've been nice; some patrons were woefully under-dressed or inappropriately attired.... IMO.

This was my 40th birthday dinner and it was all I'd hoped. Our server, Matt S., treated me like a queen. We will go back, for sure.

Food was great the waiter was outstanding it was a little loud but still a great night out.

From the ease of making the reservation, to the service, we couldn't have had a better experience. It was my girlfriend's birthday and first time there. Making special occasions a little more personal is top notch.

The restaurant seating was prefect. Our Waitress was excellent. She was very helpful and patient with us as this was our first time visiting Fleming.

Our drinks were great and I do think that for me personally I needed one less. But the ambiance and the company I was with for dinner had a influence over me.

The food was outstanding. Our first course was your Shrimp cocktail and it was wonderful we each had one, Smiles all around.

The second course was the Fleming House salad it was very enjoyable and I could have another now.

Of course we were there for the Steak and I had the NY Strip and It was simple put Outstanding. Now this where the extra drink and all the other food came to fill me up so I was not able to eat all my steak. I did take it home and did eat it there.

We were given direction on how to heat the steak at home was a nice touch.

Over all it was just the best evening that we have had in quite some time.

Great service, wonderful food!

Decided to try Fleming’s for our Anniversary based off recommendations from friends, but won’t be going back. Although the food was good, the service was terrible and the atmosphere was not at all what we expected for a romantic dinner.

Winston was a great server and made the experience at Flemings very enjoyable. He was always ahead of serving with drinks and bread, checking on our food and asking how it was. Would highly recommend this to a friend and have them ask for the same server to have the same experience.

Family was away from home during Thanksgiving to move our son home from college. We dined at Fleming’s and enjoyed their three-course feast. First course was lobster bisque—easily the best we’ve ever eaten. Entree was turkey with stuffing, gravy, green beans, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce. Dessert was choice between cheesecake and carrot cake. Everything was scrumptious! Service was impeccable, and ambiance was perfect... a Thanksgiving to remember.

A bit pricy but you get what you pay for. The atmosphere is classy and the service is always top notch. And the food....it's hard to find a better meal anywhere. Highly recommend.

Fleming’s is always a consistent top-notch upscale dining experience. If you’re looking for traditional steakhouse fare executed perfectly, this is your place. Wedge salad is exceptional. Steaks perfectly cooked. Sides like au gratin potatoes, mushrooms, and Mac & cheese are tasty.

Arrived at 6:53 for our 7 PM reservation and were directed back to our car as our table was not ready.
Got to the car and within 2 minutes got a text that our table was ready.
Enjoyed a cocktail then ordered first course a 2 petite filets.
Everything arrived at the appropriate time for us to enjoy with a bottle of Torbreck Shiraz.
A special place for dinner!

Good food and great service.

Service was great, appetizers great, chef not so much. My filet was overcooked, sent it back and the next one was just as overcooked. He told the waiter that it isn’t his fault and that’s how I ordered it. I ordered medium and it was well done, barely any pink at all in the middle and the outsides were tuff

Definitely an upper scale restaurant where the prices are higher however you are getting a high level of service and amazing quality food. Love to come here for a special occasion because the dining experience makes you feel special!
